Abstract

Hexa(4-bromo-2-formyl-phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (2) and hexa(4-chloro-2- formyl-phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (3) were obtained from the reactions of hexachloro- cyclotriphosphazene (1) with 5-bromosalicylaldehyde and 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde in the presence of (C2H5)3N and K2CO3 at room temperature, respectively. The new two organocyclotriphosphazenes bearing formyl groups were reacted with 4-cyano aniline, 2-phenyl aniline, 4-aceto aniline, 5-chloro-2-hydroxy aniline, 2-hydroxy aniline, 4-hydroxy aniline, 2-(4-morpholino)ethyl amine, 4-carboxy aniline, 4-carbomoyl aniline, 2-mercapto aniline, and 5-amino isoquonoline to prepare cyclotriphosphazene derivatives containing a Schiff base at room temperature. However, fully phenoxy-substituted cyclotriphosphazenes containing a Schiff base were isolated from the reactions of the compound 2 and 3 with 5-chloro-2-hydroxy aniline, 2-hydroxy aniline, 4-hydroxy aniline, and 2-(4-morpholino)ethyl amine. The structures of the synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and NMR (1H, 13C, 31P) spectroscopy. According to the results of the analysis, all synthesized compounds were found to be fully substituted organocyclotriphosphazenes, such as hexa[4-bromo-2-(5-chloro-2-hydroxy-pheyliminomethyl)phenoxy]cyclotriphosphaze (2a). All cyclotriphosphazene derivatives synthesized gave fluorescence emission peaks in range between 300 nm and 410 nm.  相似文献

A divergent approach was used for the synthesis of dendritic structures based on a cyclotriphosphazene core with 12 or 24 hydroxyl groups, by starting from [N3P3(OC6H4OH‐4)6] and using an acetal‐protected 2,2‐di(hydroxymethyl)propionic anhydride as the acylating agent. Hydroxyl groups in these first‐ and second‐generation dendrimers, G1‐(OH)12 or G2‐(OH)24 , were then condensed in turn with mono‐ or polycatenar pro‐mesogenic acids to study their ability to promote self‐assembly into liquid crystalline structures. Reactions were monitored by using 31P{1H} and 1H NMR spectroscopy and the chemical structure of the resulting materials was confirmed by using different spectroscopic techniques and mass spectrometry (MALDI‐TOF MS). The results were in accordance with monodisperse, fully functionalised cyclotriphosphazene dendrimers. Thermal and liquid crystalline properties were studied by using optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and X‐ray diffraction. The dendrimer with 12 4‐pentylbiphenyl mesogenic units gives rise to columnar rectangular organisation, whereas the one with 24 pentylbiphenyl units does not exhibit mesomorphic behaviour. In the case of materials that contain polycatenar pro‐mesogenic units with two aromatic rings ( A4 vs. A5 ), the incorporation of a short flexible spacer connected to the periphery of the dendron (acid A5 ) was needed to achieve mesomorphic organisation. In this case, both dendrimer generations G1 A5 and G2 A5 exhibit a hexagonal columnar mesophase.  相似文献

Three novel fully substituted urea derivative cyclotriphosphazene compounds 5–7 were synthesized by alkyne-azide 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of propargyl substituted ureas 2–4 with hexaazide substituted cyclotriphosphazene 1 in the presence of Cu(I) catalyst. All compounds were characterized with spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance and mass spectroscopy. Also, the usefulness of compounds 5–7 as anion carriers was investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy. For this purpose, 1H NMR spectra of compounds 5–7 were recorded in the presence of tetrabutylammonium fluoride in DMSO-d6. It was determined, that the urea protons in the compounds interact with fluoride.  相似文献

In this study, the crystal structures of the dispiroansa spermine derivatives of cyclotriphosphazene are characterised for the first time. The reaction of spiro-, gem-disubstituted cyclotriphosphazene derivatives, N3P3Cl4R2 [R = NHPh, (HN(CH2)3NH)0.5, (OCH2C(CH3)2CH2O)0.5], (13), with spermine (4), in aprotic solvents such as CH2Cl2 results in a series of dispirobino spermine derivatives of cyclotriphosphazene (5a, 6a, 7), namely spermine bridged compounds. Whereas, in protic solvents such as CHCl3 give, dispiroansa derivatives (810) namely tetracyclic cyclotriphosphazene. The new series of dispirobino and dispiroansa spermine derivatives of cyclotriphosphazene (5a, 6a, 710) have been characterised by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, X-ray (for 5a, 8, 10) and 1H, 31P NMR spectroscopies.  相似文献

Three novel gallic monomer 7, dimer 10 and trimer 12 with conjugated cyanuric core were designed and synthesised by Schiff-base condensation mode in yields of 80–90%. Their structures were characterised by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and elemental analyses. Their mesomorphic behaviours were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, polarising optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The gallic monomer 7 has no mesomorphic property, but the dimer 10 and trimer 12 possess good mesomorphic properties. The trimer 12 with high symmetry exhibited the typical hexagonal columnar liquid crystal at room temperature. The temperature range of mesophase is as wide as 149°C (14–163°C). The results suggested that the more gallic units and symmetric structures are favourable for excellent mesomorphic properties.  相似文献

Abstract

Selected 4-oxybenzaldehyde and 2,2-dioxybiphenyl cyclotriphosphazene derivatives were synthesized via substitution reactions through tailored control. The reactions of cyclotriphosphazene with 4-oxybenzaldehyde and 2,2-dioxybiphenyl gave the following synthesized derivatives: one mono-substituted open-chain compound, N3P3Cl5(O2C7H5) (1, 69%); mono spiro, N3P3Cl4(O2C12H8) (2, 91.1%); non-gem tri-substituted, N3P3Cl3 (O6C21H15) (3, 17%); dispiro, N3P3Cl2(O4C24H16) (4, 92.3%); penta-substituted, N3P3Cl(O10C35H25) (5, 92%);hexa-substituted, N3P3(O12C42H30). Most of these derivatives (1–6) are obtained with good yield (up to 97%), This work provides a simple and available approach to obtain versatile cyclotriphosphazene derivatives, which is expected to further promote the use of HCCP as phosphorus platform for the construction of multi-functional materials.  相似文献

Two novel triphenylene-aminoanthraquinone dimers 4a and 4b were synthesized by reacting triphenylene carboxyl derivatives 3a or 3b with 2-aminoanthracene-9,10-dione in yields of 80% and 78%, respectively. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, electrospray ionization (ESI-MS), and elemental analysis. Their mesomorphic properties were studied by diffraction scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarizing optical microscopy (POM), and x-ray diffraction (XRD). The mesomorphic results suggested that they possess excellent mesophase properties. The investigation of fluorescence properties indicated that the strong cooperating fluorescence actions exist between two structural units. The fluorescence of dimers 4a and4b are seriously quenched due to the electron transfer from donor (triphenylene unit) to acceptor (aminoanthraquinone unit).  相似文献

Abstract

In this study, 5-benzoyl-4-(4-(methylthio)phenyl)-6-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2-thioxo (1), oxo (2) and imino (3) pyrimidine derivatives were prepared via Multicomponent Cyclocondensation Reactions (MCRs). The compounds thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-3(5H)-one (4) and thiazin-4(6H)-one (5) were obtained via the reaction of compound 1 with bromoacetic acid and 3-bromopropionic acid, respectively. Structures were determined by using FT-IR, 1H/13C NMR and elemental analyses. Also the compounds 4 and 5 were analyzed by X-ray single crystal analysis. All compounds were investigated as corrosion inhibitors using density functional theory (DFT) at the level of B3LYP/6-31G (d, p). According to the calculations, the compound 3 appears to be a good inhibitor for corrosion. On the other hand, total antioxidant properties were measured in vitro by DPPH?, ABTS?+ test, hemolysis of phenylhydrazine erythrocytes and metal chelating effect. The results were compared with standard antioxidants such as trolox and α-tocopherol. These data revealed that compounds 1, 2 and 5 are more active with respect to 3 and 4 in scavenging the radicals.  相似文献

Abstract

Hexakis(4-(4′-heptyloxy)biphenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene (HHCP) was synthesized from hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene and 4-heptyloxy-4′-hydroxybiphenyl. The mesogenicity of HHCP was studied by DSC, FTIR spectroscopy and polarizing microscopy. Enantiotropic smectic C and nematic phases were observed between 450 and 455 K and 455 and 456 K, respectively, on heating, and between 456 and 455 K (nematic) and 455 and 440 K (smectic C) on cooling from the isotropic liquid phase. The introduction of the heptyloxybiphenoxy groups as side chains into cyclotriphosphazene has generated the liquid crystalline phase. FTIR spectroscopy showed that the P=N and P-O-(C) stretching vibrations converted to lower frequencies from 1224 to 1210 cm?1 and from 920 to 910cm?1, respectively, at the crystalline (C)-Sc phase transition. This result suggests that the state of the cyclotriphosphazene ring dramatically changes near the C-Sc phase transition.  相似文献

Their structures were characterized by 1H, 31P, and 13C NMR spectroscopy as well as by IR spectroscopy and electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS). Liquid crystals based on substituted 2,5‐diaryl‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole derivatives (1a1f, 3a and 3b) and 1,3,4‐oxadiazole analogues (2a2f, 4a and 4b) were synthesised and characterised by 1H, 13C nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared, mass spectrometry, high‐resolution mass spectrometry techniques and elemental analyses. The X‐ray crystal structure of 1e revealed that it contains tilted lamellar arrangement of molecules in the crystalline solid. The liquid crystal properties have been investigated by polarised‐light optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and in‐situ variable‐temperature X‐ray diffraction. All compounds (except 2e and 2f) exhibited thermotropic liquid crystal behaviours with various mesophases (smectic A and C, nematic N or soft crystal E phases). Notably, the 1,3,4‐thiadiazole derivatives consistently have wider mesomorphic temperature ranges than those of the respective 1,3,4‐oxadiazole analogues. The solutions of all compounds in CH2Cl2 individually displayed one or two absorption bands with λ max values at 297–355 nm and emitted with λ max values at 363–545 nm and quantum yields of 0.12–0.73. Structure–property relationships of these compounds are discussed in the contexts of their molecular structures and weak intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

In this study, a new series of non-symmetrically 3,5-disubstituted of 1,2,4-oxadiazole derivatives, 4-[5-(4-methylphenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl]-phenyl-4-alkoxybenzoate (G1–G11), which containing ether and ester linkages in the same molecule, is synthesized using different synthetic procedures and their structures are confirmed by several spectroscopic techniques (FT-IR and 1H nuclear magnetic resonance). The mesomorphic properties of these compounds are studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and polarized optical microscopy (POM); all these derivatives exhibited as mesogens and displayed an enantiotropic liquid crystal with nematic texture, the nematogenic phase of these materials was appeared in wide temperature ranges on heating and cooling cycles that were observed by POM and DSC. The influence of 1,2,4-oxadiazole ring and the elongation of alkyl chain in the mesomorphic properties of this series were investigated. The mesogenic behaviour of this series was compared with the compounds possessing a somewhat similar structure.  相似文献

Three esters of maltose (A1A3) with 4–(4–(alkoxybenzoyloxy)phenoxy) –6–oxohexanoic acid (b1b3) side-arms have been synthesised. All the maltose derivatives were laevo-rotationary, unlike their parent cores. The side arm b1 did not display liquid crystalline (LC) properties, and b2 and b3 displayed thermotropic nematic LC properties. The star-shaped compound (SSC) A1 with b1 side-arms did not display a mesomorphic phase. Unlike the nematic schlieren texture provided by side-arms b2 and b3, the star-shaped liquid crystals (SSLC) A2 and A3 displayed Grandjean and oily texture in the cholesteric phase. The results suggest that the LC properties of the side-arms have an important influence on the formation of LC properties in an SSC, and that the maltose core is important in determining the mesomorphic phase type. In other words, the SSC displayed LC properties only when the side-arms were also LC, and the maltose core induced a cholesteric phase in the SSLC with nematic side-arms. The mesomorphic regions for A2 and A3 were 39.1 and 53.7°C during the heating cycle and 63.8 and 107.0°C during the cooling cycle, respectively. The longer terminal chain rendered the mesomorphic region broader.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and mesomorphic properties of a new type of liquid crystalline compound, the 2,5-bis(3,4,5-trialkoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazoles, 3a-3h, are reported. These heterocyclic compounds are derived from unsaturated 1,3,4-oxadiazole as the core group, and obtained by the condensation reaction of 3,4,5-trialkoxybenzoic acid N-(3,4,5-trialkoxybenzoyl)-hydrazides and phosphorus oxychloride in toluene under reflux. All compounds were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The mesomorphic properties of these and the related compounds 1, 2 were characterized and studied by differential scanning calorimetry and polarizing optical microscopy. The formation of columnar mesophases was found to be dependent on the numbers of alkoxy sidechains. The compounds 3 exhibited hexagonal columnar (Colh) phases, however compounds 1, 2 formed crystalline phases. Compounds 3b-3e with shorter carbon chains were room temperature liquid crystals. Polar induction by nitrogen and/or oxygen atoms on the heterocyclic core ring might be responsible for the formation and better observed mesomorphic properties in this type of compound.  相似文献

Novel phosphazene cyclomatrix network polymers were synthesized via the nucleophilic displacement of activated nitro groups of tri(4-nitrophenoxy)tri(phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene and hexa(p-nitrophenoxy) cyclotriphosphazene with hydroxyls of bisphenol A. Both monomers and polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance, and elemental analysis measurements, and their structures were identified. Thermal properties of polymers were investigated using dynamic thermogravimetric analysis in air. The results demonstrated that both cyclomatrix phosphazene polymers 4 and 6 were of excellent thermal stability, and their char yields in air at 800°C were 45.1 and 43.2%, respectively. According to combustion phenomenon, polymer 4 was supposed to be processed with a good flame-retardant property because of its excellent crosslinked structure during pyrolysis or combustion. However, polymer 6 yielded the opposite result. The pyrimidinethiones have wide biological and pharmaceutical activities, that have attracted considerable interest in recent years especially as antiviral inhibiting production of hepatitis B virus (HBV), and in vitro insulin-mimetic. Activity of the complexes of pyrimidinone derivatives evaluated from 50% inhibitory concentration promoted us to study the transformation of the 2-thioxopyrimidin-6(1H) ones to fused bi- and tri-cyclic heterocyclic compounds having the pyrimidine moieties and screening their biological activity.

The reactivity of 2-mercapto-4-aryl-5-cyanopyrimidin-6(1H)ones (1) towards alkylation by different mono and bifunctional halo-organic compounds has been investigated to give S-monoalkylated products 2, 7 and 9; S- and N-dialkylated products 3, 13 and 14. Treatment of 1 and/or 2 with hydrazine hydrate as a nitrogen nucleophile have been investigated to give 4, treatment of 4 with CS2 and sodium nitrite in the presence of acetic acid (0°C) produced 1,2,4-triazolopyrimidin-5(1H)one derivatives (5)and tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-5(1H)ones (6), respectively. Also cyclization of 7 and 9 gave [1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-5(1H)one and [1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-3,5-dione derivatives 8 and 10 respectively, treatment of 10 with aromatic aldehyde produces 11 which reacted with guanidine HCl to give pyrimido[4,5-d]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-6(1H)one derivative 12. Reaction of 14 with o-phenylenediamine was investigated and gave [1,4]quinoxalino[2,3-b][1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-9(1H)one derivative 15.  相似文献

Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene N3P3Cl6 and gem-disubstituted cyclotriphosphazene derivatives N3P3Cl4X2 (X = Ph, PhS, PhNH) were reacted with N-methyl-1,3-propanediamine and 3-amino-1-propanol to give compounds (9a-12a, 9b-12b) which exist as cis and trans geometric isomers and are two different racemic isomers, respectively to describe the stereogenic properties of a series of chiral cyclotriphosphazene compounds with two different centres of chirality. The geometric isomers were separated by column chromatography on silica gel and analysed by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, and 31P and 1H NMR spectroscopies, and also the geometric forms (cis or trans) of 9b, 10a, 11a, 11b and 12a have been determined by the X-ray crystallography. The enantiomers of all racemic compounds have been analysed by the changes in 31P NMR spectra on addition of a Chiral Solvating Agent (CSA), (R)-(+)-2,2,2-trifluoro-1-(9′-anthryl)ethanol. On the other hand, the racemic forms of chiral cyclotriphosphazene derivatives have been confirmed by contribution of chiral HPLC methods which have been developed for this study.  相似文献

A series of azo-ester linked mesogen containing liquid crystalline acrylate compounds C1-C6 having different terminal groups (–F, –Cl, –Br, –OCH3, –OC2H5 and –OC3H7) were successfully synthesised and characterised. The chemical structure, purity, thermal stability, mesophase behaviour and optical property of the synthesised compounds were investigated by different instrumental techniques. X-ray crystal structure showed that compounds C1, C4 and C5 exhibited more stable E configuration with two bulky group in the opposite side of the N=N double bond motifs. The fluoro-substituted derivative (C1) is connected by the R12(5) type of C–H…O hydrogen bond motifs whereas the molecules of C4, and C5 are connected to each other by means cyclic R22(8) type of C–H…O hydrogen bond motifs. Thermogravimetric study revealed that the investigated compounds exhibited excellent thermal stability. All the compounds showed enantiotropic liquid crystal (LC) phase behaviour and the mesophase formation was greatly influenced by the terminal substituents. Alkoxy (–OCH3, –OC2H5 and –OC3H7) substituted compounds exhibited greater mesophase stability than those of halogen (–F, –Cl and –Br) terminated derivatives. UV-vis spectroscopic study revealed that the investigated compounds exhibited a broad absorption band around 300–420 nm with absorption maximum (λmax) of nearly 370 nm.  相似文献

In the present study, spiro (1a), dispiro (1b, 2, 3), per-substituted spermine-bridged (69) and dispiroansa spermine (10) derivatives of cyclotriphosphazene have been synthesized. The structures of the novel compounds (1b, 610) have been characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, mass spectrometry, 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of 1b, 2, 8, and 10 were determined by single crystal X-ray crystallography. In order to investigate the anti-tumour properties of the newly synthesized cyclotriphosphazene derivatives, in vitro cytotoxic activity test (MTT assay) has been performed using HT-29 (human colon adenocarcinoma) and Hep2 (human epidermoid larynx carcinoma) cell lines. The result of the MTT assay showed that while compound 1a has cytotoxic effect on both Hep2 and HT-29 cell lines, compound 3 has only cytotoxic effect towards the Hep 2 cells.  相似文献

Five 2-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-phenol derivatives including 1H (HL1), 5-chloro-(HL2), 5-methyl-(HL3), 5,6-dichloro-(HL4), and 5,6-dimethyl-(HL5) were synthesized by the reaction of their corresponding benzene-1,2-diamine precursors and 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde which subsequently was employed in complexation with Fe(II) to prepare complexes C1C5, respectively. Indeed, in all complexes, the ligands were coordinated as bidentate, via the C=N nitrogen and hydroxy oxygen atom of benzimidazole moiety and phenol ring, respectively. The compounds were characterized by FTIR, UV–vis, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectropscopy, ICP, and elemental analysis (C, H, and N). The purity of these compounds was determined by melting point (m.p )and TLC. The synthesized ligands and complexes were geometrically optimized by Gaussian09 software at B3LYP/TZVP level of theory and satisfactory theoretical–experimental agreement was achieved for analysis of IR data of the compounds. Catalytic behavior of the iron(II) complexes was investigated for ethylene reactivity. On activation with diethylaluminum chloride (Et2AlCl), iron(II) complex (C4) showed the highest activity (1686 kg oligomers.mol?1(Fe).h?1) for ethylene oligomerization when it contains chlorine substituents and exhibits good selectivity for linear 1-butene. The steric and electronic effects of ligands were investigated in detail on the influence of their catalytic activities.  相似文献
