本文在非线性方程的下解不小于上解这一条件(即反向上下解条件)下研究了其解的存在性.我们证明了,如果非线性算子方程有变分结构,有一对反向上下解,对应的算子映某个锥入锥并且满足一定的辅助条件,那么这一方程在锥中至少有两个解.另外,本文还研究了反向上下解条件下非线性椭圆边值问题正解的存在性.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the existence of unbounded maximal subcontinua of positive solution sets of some nonlinear operator equations that bifurcates from infinity. The main feature of the paper is that the nonlinearity may not be of asymptotically linear type and may not be positone. The methods used to show our main results are different from that of Rabinowitz’ well-known global bifurcation theorems and that of some other related papers. We first obtain a sequence of unbounded subcontinua located in a pipe that bifurcates from nontrivial solutions by using a topological degree argument. Then using a result on subcontinua of superior limit in metric spaces we obtain the main results concerning unbounded maximal subcontinua of positive solution sets of the nonlinear operator equation. The main results can be applied to the semipositone problems to obtain the existence of positive solutions.  相似文献

We study the nonlinear damped wave equation with a linear pumping and a convective nonlinearity. We consider the solutions, which satisfy the periodic boundary conditions. Our aim is to prove global existence of solutions to the periodic problem for the nonlinear damped wave equation by applying the energy-type estimates and estimates for the Green operator. Based on an external approximation scheme for the underlying Banach space, a nonlinear operator equation is approximated by a sequence of coercive problems. The equation is supposed to be governed by the sum of two nonlinear operators acting between a reflexive Banach space and its dual. Under suitable stability assumptions and if the underlying operators can be approximated consistently, weak convergence of a subsequence of approximate solutions is shown. As a result, we obtain some existence results for positive solutions of the nonlinear operator equation. In this article, we study a Galerkin method for a nonstationary operator equation with a leading self-adjoint operator A(t) and a subordinate nonlinear operator F. The existence of the strong solutions of the Cauchy problem for differential and approximate equations are proved. New error estimates for the approximate solutions and their derivatives are obtained.
