This article presents an adaptive sliding mode control (SMC) scheme for the stabilization problem of uncertain time‐delay chaotic systems with input dead‐zone nonlinearity. The algorithm is based on SMC, adaptive control, and linear matrix inequality technique. Using Lyapunov stability theorem, the proposed control scheme guarantees the stability of overall closed‐loop uncertain time‐delay chaotic system with input dead‐zone nonlinearity. It is shown that the state trajectories converge to zero asymptotically in the presence of input dead‐zone nonlinearity, time‐delays, nonlinear real‐valued functions, parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances simultaneously. The selection of sliding surface and the design of control law are two important issues, which have been addressed. Moreover, the knowledge of upper bound of uncertainties is not required. The reaching phase and chattering phenomenon are eliminated. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed scheme. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article proposes a novel adaptive sliding mode control (SMC) scheme to realize the problem of robust tracking and model following for a class of uncertain time‐delay systems with input nonlinearity. It is shown that the proposed robust tracking controller guarantees the stability of overall closed‐loop system and achieves zero‐tracking error in the presence of input nonlinearity, time‐delays, time‐varying parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. The selection of sliding surface and the existence of sliding mode are two important issues, which have been addressed. This scheme assures robustness against input nonlinearity, time‐delays, parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances. Moreover, the knowledge of the upper bound of uncertainties is not required and chattering phenomenon is eliminated. Both theoretical analysis and illustrative examples demonstrate the validity of the proposed scheme. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 66–73, 2015  相似文献

This article investigates exponential stability of uncertain discrete‐time nonlinear switched systems with parameter uncertainties and randomly occurring delays via Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy approach. The randomness of time‐varying delay is characterized by introducing a Bernoulli stochastic variable that follows certain probability distribution. By adopting the average dwell‐time approach with Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using convex reciprocal lemma, delay‐dependent sufficient conditions for exponential stability of the switched fuzzy system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be solved readily using any LMI solvers. Finally, illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 20: 49–61, 2015  相似文献

In this article, a control scheme combining radial basis function neural network and discrete sliding mode control method is proposed for robust tracking and model following of uncertain time‐delay systems with input nonlinearity. The proposed robust tracking controller guarantees the stability of overall closed‐loop system and achieves zero‐tracking error in the presence of input nonlinearity, time‐delays, time‐varying parameter uncertainties, and external disturbances. The salient features of the proposed controller include no requirement of a priori knowledge of the upper bound of uncertainties and the elimination of chattering phenomenon and reaching phase. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 194–201, 2016  相似文献

This article is concerned with the problem of state observer for complex large‐scale systems with unknown time‐varying delayed interactions. The class of large‐scale interconnected systems under consideration is subjected to interval time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. By introducing a set of argumented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and using a new bounding estimation technique, novel delay‐dependent conditions for existence of state observers with guaranteed exponential stability are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In our design approach, the set of full‐order Luenberger‐type state observers are systematically derived via the use of an efficient LMI‐based algorithm. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the result. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 123–133, 2015  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of μ‐stability of impulsive differential systems with unbounded time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. Some μ‐stability criteria, which depend on the range of distributed delay and the decay rate of discrete delay (not the range), are derived by using Lyapunov–Krasovski functional method. Those criteria are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities and they can easily be checked. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results. This study examines finite‐time synchronization for a class of N‐coupled complex partial differential systems (PDSs) with time‐varying delay. The problem of finite‐time synchronization for coupled drive‐response PDSs with time‐varying delay is similarly considered. The synchronization error dynamic of the PDSs is defined in the q‐dimensional spatial domain. We construct a feedback controller to achieve finite‐time synchronization. Sufficient conditions are derived by using the Lyapunov‐Krasoviskii stability approach and inequalities technology to ensure that the proposed networks achieve synchronization in finite time. The proposed systems demonstrate extensive application. Finally, an example is used to verify the theoretical results.  相似文献

This article investigates the chaos control problem for the fractional‐order chaotic systems containing unknown structure and input nonlinearities. Two types of nonlinearity in the control input are considered. In the first case, a general continuous nonlinearity input is supposed in the controller, and in the second case, the unknown dead‐zone input is included. In each case, a proper switching adaptive controller is introduced to stabilize the fractional‐order chaotic system in the presence of unknown parameters and uncertainties. The control methods are designed based on the boundedness property of the chaotic system's states, where, in the proposed methods the nonlinear/linear dynamic terms of the fractional‐order chaotic systems are assumed to be fully unknown. The analytical results of the mentioned techniques are proved by the stability analysis theorem of fractional‐order systems and the adaptive control method. In addition, as an application of the proposed methods, single input adaptive controllers are adopted for control of a class of three‐dimensional nonlinear fractional‐order chaotic systems. And finally, some numerical examples illustrate the correctness of the analytical results. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 211–223, 2015  相似文献

This article focuses on the robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems based on the average dwell‐time approach. In particular, the system is considered with probabilistic input delay using sampled state vectors, which are described by the stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence and time‐varying norm‐bounded uncertainties. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which involves the lower and upper bounds of the delay, a new set of sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the uncertain switched neutral system about its equilibrium point. Moreover, based on the stability criteria, a state feedback sampled‐data control law is designed for the considered system. Finally, a numerical example based on the water‐quality dynamic model for the Nile River is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper addresses the problem of adaptive stabilization of uncertain unified chaotic systems with nonlinear input in the sector form. A novel representation of nonlinear input function, that is, a linear input with bounded time-varying coefficient, is firstly established. Then, an adaptive control scheme is proposed based on the new nonlinear input model. By using Barbalat’s lemma, the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is proved in spite of system uncertainties, external disturbance and input nonlinearity. One of the advantages of the proposed design method is that the prior knowledge on the plant parameter, the bound parameters of the uncertainties and the slope parameters inside the sector nonlinearity is not required. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the analytical results.  相似文献

This paper addresses the design of adaptive feedback controllers for two problems (namely, stabilization and synchronization) of chaotic systems with unknown parameters by considering input saturation constraints. A novel generalized sector condition is developed to deal with the saturation nonlinearities for synthesizing the nonlinear and the adaptive controllers for the stabilization and synchronization control objectives. By application of the proposed sector condition and rigorous regional stability analysis, control and adaptation laws are formulated to guarantee local stabilization of a nonlinear system under actuator saturation. Further, simple control and adaptation laws are developed to synchronize two chaotic systems under uncertain parameters and input saturation nonlinearity. Numerical simulation results for Rössler and FitzHugh–Nagumo models are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive stabilization and synchronization control methodologies.  相似文献

In this article, a synchronization problem for complex dynamical networks with additive time‐varying coupling delays via non‐fragile control is investigated. A new class of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with triple integral terms is constructed and using reciprocally convex approach, some new delay‐dependent synchronization criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). When applying Jensen's inequality to partition double integral terms in the derivation of LMI conditions, a new kind of linear combination of positive functions weighted by the inverses of squared convex parameters appears. To handle such a combination, an effective method is introduced by extending the lower bound lemma. Then, a sufficient condition for designing the non‐fragile synchronization controller is introduced. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the advantages of the proposed techniques. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 296–321, 2015  相似文献

This article investigates the delay‐dependent robust dissipative sampled‐data control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with both differentiable and non‐differentiable time‐varying delays. The main purpose of this article is to design a retarded robust control law such that the resulting closed‐loop system is strictly (Q, S, R)‐dissipative. By introducing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using free weighting matrix approach, some sufficient conditions for the solvability of the addressed problem are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. From the obtained dissipative result, we deduce four cases namely, H performance, passivity performance, mixed H, and passivity performance and sector bounded performance of the considered system. From the obtained result, it is concluded that based on the passivity performance it is possible to obtain the controller with less control effort, and also the minimum H performance and the maximum allowable delay for achieving stabilization conditions can be obtained via the mixed H and passivity control law. Finally, simulation studies based on aircraft control system are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 142–154, 2016  相似文献

In this article, cluster synchronization problem for Lur'e type Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy complex networks with probabilistic time‐varying delays is considered. Pinning control strategy is proposed. The probability distribution of the time‐varying delay is considered. In terms of the probability distribution of the delays, a new type of system model with probability‐distribution‐dependent parameter matrices is proposed. Moreover, probabilistic delay is assumed to satisfy certain probability distribution and the probability of the delay takes values in some intervals. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional involving triple integral terms and using Kronecker product with convex combination technique, some sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the cluster synchronization of designed networks such that the linear feedback controller can be used to every cluster. The problem of controller design is converted into solving a series of linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness of our results is verified through numerical examples and simulations. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 59–77, 2015  相似文献

The synchronization problem for both continuous and discrete‐time complex dynamical networks with time‐varying delays is investigated. Using optimal partitioning method, time‐varying delays are partitioned into l subintervals and generalized results are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). New delay‐dependent synchronization criteria in terms of LMIs are derived by constructing appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, reciprocally convex combination technique and some inequality techniques. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed synchronization criteria. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 193–210, 2015  相似文献

In this article, based on sampled‐data approach, a new robust state feedback reliable controller design for a class of Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy systems is presented. Different from the existing fault models for reliable controller, a novel generalized actuator fault model is proposed. In particular, the implemented fault model consists of both linear and nonlinear components. Consequently, by employing input‐delay approach, the sampled‐data system is equivalently transformed into a continuous‐time system with a variable time delay. The main objective is to design a suitable reliable sampled‐data state feedback controller guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of the resulting closed‐loop fuzzy system. For this purpose, using Lyapunov stability theory together with Wirtinger‐based double integral inequality, some new delay‐dependent stabilization conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities are established to determine the underlying system's stability and to achieve the desired control performance. Finally, to show the advantages and effectiveness of the developed control method, numerical simulations are carried out on two practical models. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article investigates the robust reliable control problem for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems with mixed interval time‐varying delays. The system under study involves state time‐delay, parameter uncertainties and possible actuator failures. In particular, the parameter uncertainties is assumed to satisfy linear fractional transformation formulation and the involved state delay are assumed to be randomly time varying which is modeled by introducing Bernoulli distributed sequences. The main objective of this article is to obtain robust reliable feedback controller design to achieve the exponential stability of the closed‐loop system in the presence of for all admissible parameter uncertainties. The proposed results not only applicable for the normal operating case of the system, but also in the presence of certain actuator failures. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new set of criteria is derived for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the closed‐loop switched neutral system. More precisely, zero inequality approach, Wirtinger's based inequality, convex combination technique and average dwell time approach are used to simplify the derivation in the main results. Finally, numerical examples with simulation result are given to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed design approach. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The application of Pontryagin's maximum principle to the optimization of linear systems with time delays results in a system of coupled two-point boundary-value problems involving both delay and advance terms. The exact solution of this system of TPBV problems is extremely difficult, if not impossible. In this paper, a fast-converging iterative approach is developed for obtaining the suboptimal control for nonstationary linear systems with multiple state and control delays and with quadratic cost. At each step of the proposed method, a linear nondelay system with an extra perturbing input must be optimized. The procedure can be extended for the optimization of nonlinear systems with multiple time-varying delays, provided that some of the nonlinearities satisfy the Lipschitz condition.  相似文献

This article deals with the problem of robust stochastic asymptotic stability for a class of uncertain stochastic neural networks with distributed delay and multiple time‐varying delays. It is noted that the reciprocally convex approach has been intensively used in stability analysis for time‐delay systems in the past few years. We will extend the approach from deterministic time‐delay systems to stochastic time‐delay systems. And based on the new technique dealing with matrix cross‐product and multiple‐interval‐dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some novel delay‐dependent stability criteria with less conservatism and less decision variables for the addressed system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. At last, several numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the results. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 147–162, 2015  相似文献
