Resource theory is applied to quantify the quantum correlation of a bipartite state and a computable measure is proposed. Since this measure is based on quantum coherence, we present another possible physical meaning for quantum correlation, i.e., the minimum quantum coherence achieved under local unitary transformations. This measure satisfies the basic requirements for quantifying quantum correlation and coincides with concurrence for pure states. Since no optimization is involved in the final definition, this measure is easy to compute irrespective of the Hilbert space dimension of the bipartite state.  相似文献

We investigate separability of mixed states in bipartite and multipartite quantum systems. If a quantum state in a bipartite system of arbitrary dimension (or in $2\times2\times N$ quantum systems) is separable, we show that some quantity in relation to Hermitian matrix is positive.  相似文献

本文以具有非对称性自旋相互作用的三体自旋系统为研究对象,重点研究了三体量子相干含时演化规律.采用精确量子对角化和基于量子主方程的数值模拟方法,讨论了三体量子系统中多种量子相干组分及其退相干.研究发现,量子相干组分的含时演化与整个系统的初态量子特性紧密相关.当初态为可分离纯态时,在较短时间内,非对称相互作用有利于增加多体量子相干度.这些量子相干度因受噪声影响而逐渐衰减.当初态为类Werner态时,量子相干度的分布满足加和性,即三体量子相干度等于所有两体量子相干度之和.自旋之间非对称相互作用和环境噪声都会引起三体量子相干度大于所有两体量子相干度之和.这些结论有助于多体量子资源的制备.  相似文献

从量子相干性包括l1 norm相干性和量子相对熵相干性的角度建立了判定开放量子系统中非马尔可夫过程的方法, 并给出了相应的判别条件. 作为它们的具体应用, 研究了一个两能级系统分别经历相位衰减通道、 随机幺正通道和振幅耗散通道作用时对应的非马尔可夫过程发生必须满足的条件. 对于三种通道模型, 得到了l1 norm相干性对系统任意态非马尔可夫过程发生的判别条件, 并发现在相位衰减通道和振幅耗散通道中其非马尔可夫过程发生 的条件与用其他方式如信息回流、可分性和量子互熵给出的条件是相同的, 而在随机幺正通道中给出了一个新的且不完全等价于基于信息回流和可分性对应的条件. 至于量子相对熵相干性, 在相位衰减通道中得到了对系统任意态的非马尔可夫过程发生的具体条件, 并发现该条件也等同于基于信息回流、可分性和量子互熵给出的条件. 而在随机幺正通道和振幅耗散通道中得到了系统最大相干态对应的非马尔可夫过程发生的条件.  相似文献

Quantum coherence and discord are two kinds of manifestations of nonclassicality. By calculating the coherence and discord in the specific bipartite quantum systems, we show quantitative connections between the coherence and the discord in the bipartite quantum systems created from local systems with the help of incoherent operations. We show that the coherence bounds the dynamical discord, and under particular conditions of the initial quantum states, the coherence of single systems is equal to the dynamical discord. We extend these results to the multipartite quantum systems.  相似文献

We have theoretically and experimentally studied the quantum coherence effects of a degenerate transition Fg =3←→Fe=2 system interacting with a weak linearly polarized (with σ+ components) probe light and a strong linearly polarized (with σ+ components) coupling field. Due to the competition between the drive Rabi frequency and the Zeeman splitting, electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) and electromagnetically induced absorption (EIA) are present at the different values of applied magnetic field in the case where the Zeeman splitting of excited state Δe is larger than the Zeeman splitting of ground state Δg (i.e.Δe 〉 Δg).  相似文献

Detecting multipartite quantum coherence usually requires quantum state reconstruction, which is quite inefficient for large-scale quantum systems. Along this line of research, several efficient procedures have been proposed to detect multipartite quantum coherence without quantum state reconstruction, among which the spectrum-estimation-based method is suitable for various coherence measures. Here, we first generalize the spectrum-estimation-based method for the geometric measure of coherence. Then, we investigate the tightness of the estimated lower bound of various coherence measures, including the geometric measure of coherence, the l1-norm of coherence, the robustness of coherence, and some convex roof quantifiers of coherence multiqubit GHZ states and linear cluster states. Finally, we demonstrate the spectrum-estimation-based method as well as the other two efficient methods. We observe that the spectrum-estimation-based method outperforms other methods in various coherence measures, which significantly enhances the accuracy of estimation.  相似文献

We propose a method to probabilistically implement a nonlocal operation, $% \exp {[}\i\xi U_{A}U_{B}{]}$, between two distant qutrits $A$ and $B$, where $% \xi \in [0,2\pi ]$ and $U_{A}$, $U_{B}$ are local unitary and Hermitian operations for qutrits $A$ and $B$ respectively. The consumptions of resource for one performance of the method are a single non-maximally entangled qutrit state and 1-trit classical communication. For a given $\xi $% , the successful probability of the method depends on the forms of both entanglement resource and Bob's partial-measurement basis. We systematically discuss the optimal successful probabilities and their corresponding conditions for three cases: adjustable entanglement resource, adjustable partial-measurement basis, adjustable entanglement resource and partial-measurement basis. It is straightforward to generalize the method for producing nonlocal unitary operations between any two $N$-level systems.  相似文献

量子化的Dicke模型在非旋波近似条件下表现为量子混沌动力学特征.利用单粒子一阶时间关联函数,通过数值计算详细考察了Dicke模型中单粒子相干动力学特性.结果表明:当初始相干态处在混沌区域时,一阶时间关联函数曲线衰减较快,而当初始相干态处在规则区域时,一阶时间关联函数曲线衰减较慢,单粒子相干动力学对初态具有较强的敏感性,经典混沌抑制量子相干.考察单粒子相干动力学在相空间的平均演化性质,得到一种较好的量子经典对应关系.最后研究了相空间单粒子相干的整体动力学性质,更好地揭示了相空间的混沌和规则结构.  相似文献

We study the equivalence of tripartite mixed states under local unitary transformations. The nonlocal properties for a class of tripartite quantum states in ${\mathbb C}^K \otimes {\mathbb C}^M \otimes {\mathbb C}^N$ composite systems are investigated and a complete set of invariants under local unitary transformations for these states is presented. It is shown that two of these states are locally equivalent if and only if all these invariants have the same values.  相似文献

Entanglement and coherence are two important resources in quantum information theory. A question naturally arises: Is there some connection between them? We prove that the entanglement of formation and the first-order coherence of two-qubit states satisfy an inequality relation. Two-qubit pure state reaches the upper bound of this inequality. A large number of randomly generated states are used to intuitively verify the complementarity between the entanglement of formation and the first-order coherence. We give the maximum accessible coherence of two-qubit states. Our research results will provide a reliable theoretical basis for conversion of the two quantum resources.  相似文献

The local approach to construct master equation for a composite open system with a weak internal coupling is simple and seems reasonable. However, it is thermodynamic consistent only when the subsystems are resonantly coupled. Efforts are being made to understand the inconsistency and test the validity of the local master equation. We present a perturbative method to solve the steady-state solutions of linear local master equations, which are demonstrated by two simple models. The solving process shows the stationary state as the result of competition between incoherent operations and the unitary creating quantum coherence, and consequently relate quantum coherence with thermodynamic consistency.  相似文献

We present a scheme for probabilistic remote preparation of a d-dimensional equatorial quantum state. In the scheme, a bipartite d-dimensional partial entangled state is used as the quantum channel, and the single-qudit projective measurement and appropriate unitary transformation are needed. We demonstrate in straightforward calculations that even under ideally weak noise the relaxation of bipartite open quantum systems contains elements not previously encountered in quantum noise physics. While additivity of decay rates is known to be generic for decoherence of a single system, we demonstrate that it breaks down for bipartite coherence of even the simplest composite systems.  相似文献

We reexamine quantum correlation from the fundamental perspective of its consanguineous quantum property, the coherence. We emphasize the importance of specifying the tensor product structure of the total state space before discussing quantum correlation. A measure of quantum correlation for arbitrary dimension bipartite states using nonlocal coherence is proposed, and it can be easily generalized to the multipartite case. The quantification of non-entangled component within quantum correlation is investigated for certain states.  相似文献

Quantum walk (QW), which is considered as the quantum counterpart of the classical random walk (CRW), is actually the quantum extension of CRW from the single-coin interpretation. The sequential unitary evolution engenders correlation between different steps in QW and leads to a non-binomial position distribution. In this paper, we propose an alternative quantum extension of CRW from the ensemble interpretation, named quantum random walk (QRW), where the walker has many unrelated coins, modeled as two-level systems, initially prepared in the same state. We calculate the walker's position distribution in QRW for different initial coin states with the coin operator chosen as Hadamard matrix. In one-dimensional case, the walker's position is the asymmetric binomial distribution. We further demonstrate that in QRW, coherence leads the walker to perform directional movement. For an initially decoherenced coin state, the walker's position distribution is exactly the same as that of CRW. Moreover, we study QRW in 2D lattice, where the coherence plays a more diversified role in the walker's position distribution.  相似文献

Based on two mutual conjugate tripartite entangled states $|\eta,\sigma\rangle_\theta$ and $| \varsigma ,\tau\rangle_\theta $ we generalize the two-mode one-sided squeezing operators to three-mode case. We derive how the tripartite entangled states transform under the three-mode squeezing operators. We conclude that the entangled state representations provide a convenient basis for deriving various three-mode squeezing operators.  相似文献

We consider a non-interacting bipartite quantum system $\mathcal H_S^A\otimes \mathcal H_S^B$ undergoing repeated quantum interactions with an environment modeled by a chain of independent quantum systems interacting one after the other with the bipartite system. The interactions are made so that the pieces of environment interact first with $\mathcal H_S^A$ and then with $\mathcal H_S^B$ . Even though the bipartite systems are not interacting, the interactions with the environment create an entanglement. We show that, in the limit of short interaction times, the environment creates an effective interaction Hamiltonian between the two systems. This interaction Hamiltonian is explicitly computed and we show that it keeps track of the order of the successive interactions with $\mathcal H_S^A$ and $\mathcal H_S^B$ . Particular physical models are studied, where the evolution of the entanglement can be explicitly computed. We also show the property of return of equilibrium and thermalization for a family of examples.  相似文献

基于V 形三能级模型运用密度矩阵方程推导了非对称耦合量子阱三阶光学非线性极化率. 具体分析了三阶吸收非线性效率(三阶光学非线性极化率与线性吸收系数之比)随阱间电子相干振荡频率的变化规律. 理论结果表明:三阶吸收非线性效率对阱间电子相干振荡频率相当敏感,当阱间电子相干振荡频率增大时三阶吸收非线性效率显著增强,而当阱间电子相干振荡频率为零时,这种非线性效率类似于单量子阱情况. 与单量子阱相比,对于已设计好的非对称耦合量子阱结构其突出特征表现在,其非线性吸收与色散特性可经由沿材料生长方向偏压进行控制. 据此,我们预期利用这种非对称耦合量子阱结构能设计成光通信中的光限幅器和可控克尔光开关.  相似文献
