A Germanium (Ge) metastructure with switching features from broadband plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) and electromagnetically induced absorption (EIA) is presented, which forms a broadband PIT through the near-field coupling between the localized plasmon resonance and the Mie resonance employing four gold cut wires as bright plasmon resonators and four C-shaped dielectric rings as dark plasmon resonators. A wide transparent window above 0.9 is achieved covering from 0.622 to 0.823 THz with a relative bandwidth of 27.8%. In addition, through phase modulation, a magnetic dipole is generated by the constructive interference of the near-field coupling of the three resonators to realize the PIT to EIA conversion. In addition, a grid-like metastructure is introduced to realize the PIT to EIA conversion by phase modulation. To enhance the EIA bandwidth, another layer of C-shaped reflection plate resonator is introduced to increase the dark mode loss, and a layer of frequency selective surface composed of cross-shaped resonators is also used. Thus under the dual effect, a wide absorption window above 0.75 is achieved covering from 0.647 to 0.756 THz with a relative bandwidth of 15.5%.  相似文献

We study electromagnetically induced absorption (EIA) and transparency (EIT) in an optical-rf two-photon coupling configuration. It is shown that the interference effect due to interacting dark resonances results in an EIA for a resonant two-photon coupling and this EIA is observed to evolve into an EIT when there is a detuning in the two-photon coupling.  相似文献

准Λ型4能级系统具有电磁诱导吸收(EIA)和电磁诱导透明(EIT)两种特性.准Λ型4能级系统包括两个基态精细结构能级和两个激发态精细结构能级,除光学耦合场和探测场外,附加了一个射频场作用于两个激发态精细结构能级之间.若对此系统进行拓展,在两个基态精细结构能级之间引入一个驱动场,则构成4场作用下的闭合Λ型4能级系统.本文对新引进的驱动场的作用规律进行了重点研究.研究结果表明,当驱动场和射频场的Rabi频率满足不同关系时,系统呈现EIA或EIT两种不同特性,探测吸收曲线的整体轮廓也随之改变.  相似文献

在通常的Λ型三能级系统中,光学耦合场和探测场分别激发两个不同的光学跃迁,探测吸收谱呈现电磁诱导透明(EIT)特性.若将此系统拓展为光学-射频双光子耦合场和探测场共同作用下的准Λ型四能级系统,探测吸收谱呈现电磁诱导吸收(EIA)和EIT两种特性.通过求解系统的密度矩阵方程,分析了EIA和EIT的产生条件,并给出了相应的缀饰态解释.研究结果表明,在准Λ型四能级系统中,光学耦合场对EIA和EIT的形成起决定作用,共振时出现EIA,非共振时出现EIT,而且EIA和EIT的线宽随着光学耦合场拉比频率的增大而增加. 关键词: 电磁诱导透明 电磁诱导吸收 射频场 光学耦合场  相似文献

在铯原子气室中采用偏振方向相互垂直且同向传播的线偏泵浦光和探测光,研究了铯原子D2线的泵浦探测光谱。由于在6 S1/2 F=3 – 6 P3/2 F’=2 超精细跃迁中存在多个L型塞曼子能级结构,从而产生了电磁诱导透明导致的吸收减弱;而在6 S1/2 F=4 – 6 P3/2 F’=5 超精细跃迁中则观测到了电磁诱导吸收。通过改变泵浦光的失谐量,在电磁诱导透明形成的吸收减弱凹陷和电磁诱导吸收产生的吸收增强峰内部均观察到了反常的吸收信号反转。  相似文献

基于石墨烯的电控特性提出了一种由金属线谐振器和"H"型谐振器组成的宽带可调的类电磁诱导透明(类EIT)超材料结构.首先,利用CST Microwave Studio软件对该超材料结构的透射特性进行了仿真.该结构在1.05—1.46 THz内的透射窗由金属线谐振器的等离子谐振和"H"型谐振器的电感-电容谐振干涉相消引起,且暗模式谐振器的数量增多导致了透射窗带宽的增加.其次,仿真模拟了该结构在不同石墨烯费米能级下的透射特性.当石墨烯费米能级由0 eV逐渐增加到1.5 eV时,该结构透射窗在1.05—1.46 THz内的平均透射振幅由87%逐渐减少到25%,实现了宽带可调.同时,通过仿真模拟该结构在1.26 THz下的电场分布对其透射机理进行了分析,并实验制备了类EIT超材料结构样品,且利用太赫兹时域光谱对样品进行了透射性能测试,测试结果与仿真分析的趋势基本一致.  相似文献

提出了一种新的基于石墨烯超表面的复合结构,该结构由带有空气槽的石墨烯条、氮化镓、二氧化硅和二氧化钛组成.通过时域有限差分法研究了该结构的电磁特性,研究结果表明,该结构具有更宽频带的电磁诱导透明特性.从结构参数、电磁场分布等方面研究了电磁诱导透明的物理机理.在该结构中,石墨烯条作为明模存在,耦合作为暗模的空气槽和氮化镓侧板,即存在两种明暗模耦合的现象,因此产生宽带的电磁诱导透明现象.从研究结果发现该结构可以产生多个频点的慢光效应和传感效应,因此在光存储、红外波段的传感器设计中具有一定的指导意义和潜在的应用.  相似文献

Using Schrödinger-Maxwell formalism, we propose and analyze an optical four-wave mixing (FWM) scheme for the generation of coherent light in a coherent six-level atomic medium based on dual electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). We show that the significantly enhanced conversion efficiency enabled by ultraslow propagation of pump waves has no direct relationship with the single-photon detuning, which is different from the FWM with a single EIT. The most important feature is that our scheme is also capable of inhibiting and delaying the onset of the detrimental three-photon destructive interference that looks like a recent scheme [Phys. Rev. Lett. 91 (2003) 243902] and may be used for generating short-wave-length coherent radiation.  相似文献

基于金纳米棒构成的三聚体微元结构模型,详细地研究了等离激元诱导透明(plasmon induced transparency,PIT)现象产生的物理过程.研究发现,三聚体的吸收谱线随着其耦合距离以及尺寸的变化,竖直金纳米棒所对应的偶极明模在平行双长条金纳米棒对应的暗模作用下会产生分裂.依据这一结果提出了一个新的物理解释,PIT现象的产生主要来自于竖直金纳米棒中偶极振荡的模式分裂后的相干叠加.同时,考虑到两个振子之间的耦合会伴随着一定的相位关联性,进而引入了耦合相位因子修正了洛伦兹振子耦合模型,解析地研究了耦合相位因子对吸收谱的调控作用和分裂明模之间的相干叠加效应对PIT效应的影响.这为在纳米尺寸范围设计人造原子、光开关、慢光效应等方面的应用提供了理论参考.  相似文献

We numerically demonstrate a photo-excited plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) effect in hybrid terahertz (THz) metamaterials. The proposed metamaterials are regular arrays of hybrid unit cells composed of a metallic cut wire and four metallic split-ring resonators (SRRs) whose gaps are filled with photosensitive semiconductor gallium arsenide (GaAs) patches. We simulate the PIT effect controlled by external infrared light intensity to change the conductivity of GaAs. In the absence of photo excitation, the conductivity of GaAs is 0, thus the SRR gaps are disconnected, and the PIT effect is not observed since the dark resonator (supported by the hybrid SRRs) cannot be stimulated. When the conductivity of GaAs is increased via photo excitation, the conductivity of GaAs can increase rapidly from 0 S/m to 1×106 S/m and GaAs can connect the metal aluminum SRR gaps, and the dark resonator is excited through coupling with the bright resonator (supported by the cut wire), which leads to the PIT effect. Therefore, the PIT effect can be dynamically tuned between the on and off states by controlling the intensity of the external infrared light. We also discuss couplings between one bright mode (CW) and several dark modes (SRRs) with different sizes. The interference analytically described by the coupled Lorentz oscillator model elucidates the coupling mechanism between one bright mode and two dark modes. The phenomenon can be considered the result of linear superposition of the coupling between the bright mode and each dark mode. The proposed metamaterials are promising for application in the fields of THz communications, optical storage, optical display, and imaging.  相似文献

We present a theoretical study of electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT) in a superconducting quantum circuit with a tunable V-shaped energy spectrum derived from two superconducting Josephson charge qubits coupled with each other through a superconducting quantum interference device. Using the density matrix formalism and the steady-state approximation, we obtain the analytical expressions of the first-order matrix element associated with the absorption and dispersion of the probe field for two different V-type schemes. Our results show that, for this superconducting quantum system, it is possible to realize a remarkable phenomenon that dynamic conversion between EIT and EIT with amplification without population inversion. Such a unique optical feature has potential applications in quantum optical devices and quantum information processing.  相似文献

研究一个具有两个靠得足够近激发能级的双Lambda模型, 在矩形脉冲中分离出光学前驱动场. 当耦合场是大失谐时, 该原子系统在自发辐射相干效应的影响下产生一个透明窗口并伴随着陡峭的色散曲线. 因此, 由于透明窗口中的慢光效应可以使光学前驱动场从主脉冲场中分离出来. 另外, 我们通过调控脉冲波形序列研究探测场相位和幅值的累积光学前驱动波. 数值结果表明: 由于累积光前驱动场与脉冲主场的相长干涉大大地提高瞬态脉冲的能量.  相似文献

In this study, we report on the fractional Talbot effect of nonparaxial self-accelerating beams in a multilevel electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) atomic configuration, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the first study on this subject. The Talbot effect originates from superposed eigenmodes of the Helmholtz equation and forms in the EIT window in the presence of both linear and cubic susceptibilities. The Talbot effect can be realized by appropriately selecting the coefficients of the beam components. Our results indicate that the larger the radial difference between beam components, the stronger the interference between them, the smaller the Talbot angle is. The results of this study can be useful when studying optical imaging, optical measurements, and optical computing.  相似文献
