Let k(x) be the field of fractions of the polynomial algebra k[x] over the field k. We prove that, for an arbitrary finite dimensional k-algebra Λ, any finitely generated Λ ⊗k k(x)-module M such that its minimal projective presentation admits no non-trivial selfextension is of the form MNk(x), for some finitely generated Λ-module N. Some consequences are derived for tilting modules over the rational algebra Λ ⊗k k(x) and for some generic modules for Λ. Received: 24 November 2003; revised: 11 February 2005  相似文献

The paper suggests a constructive characterization of unbounded completely positive maps introduced earlier by Chebotarev for the theory of quantum dynamical semigroups. We prove that such cones are generated by a positive self-adjoint “reference” operator ΛεB(H) as follows: for any completely positive unbounded map Ф(·)εCPn*(F) these exists a completely positive normal bounded mapR(·)εCPn(H) such that ϕ(·)=ΛR(·)Λ. The class contains mappings that are unclosable sesquilinear forms. Translated fromMatematicheskie Zametki, Vol. 65, No. 2, pp. 194–205, February, 1999.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the Lie algebra L(A,α,δ) of type L and obtain the respective sufficient conditions for L(A,α,δ δ to be semisimple, and for Z(ω) = Fω as well, where 0 ≠ ω Є L(A, α, δ, δ) and Z(ω) is the centralizer of ω.  相似文献

A host algebra of a topological group G is a C *-algebra whose representations are in one-to-one correspondence with certain continuous unitary representations of G. In this paper we present an approach to host algebras for infinite dimensional Lie groups which is based on complex involutive semigroups. Any locally bounded absolute value α on such a semigroup S leads in a natural way to a C *-algebra C *(S,α), and we describe a setting which permits us to conclude that this C *-algebra is a host algebra for a Lie group G. We further explain how to attach to any such host algebra an invariant weak-*-closed convex set in the dual of the Lie algebra of G enjoying certain nice convex geometric properties. If G is the additive group of a locally convex space, we describe all host algebras arising this way. The general non-commutative case is left for the future. To K.H. Let L be a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra, L ? be the ?-span of a Chevalley basis of L, and L R  = R ?? L ? be a Chevalley algebra of type L over a commutative ring R with identity. Let ?(R) be the solvable subalgebra of L R spanned by the basis elements of the maximal toral subalgebra and the root vectors associated with positive roots. In this article, we prove that under some conditions for R, any automorphism of ?(R) is uniquely decomposed as a product of a graph automorphism, a diagonal automorphism and an inner automorphism, and any derivation of ?(R) is uniquely decomposed as a sum of an inner derivation induced by root vectors and a diagonal derivation. Correspondingly, the automorphism group and the derivation algebra of ?(R) are determined.  相似文献

To obtain the representation (L, R) of Lie algebras over the ring Λ, we construct the lattice of subrepresentations ℒ(L, R). Relations between the algebras L and R and the lattice ℒ(L, R) are studied. It turns out that in some cases the isomorphism of the lattice ℒ(L, R) can be continued so as to obtain a wider sublattice ℒ(LλR) consisting of subalgebras of a semidirect product LλR. __________ Translated from Sovremennaya Matematika i Ee Prilozheniya (Contemporary Mathematics and Its Applications), Vol. 46, Algebra, 2007.  相似文献

The q-rook monoid R n(q) is a semisimple (q)-algebra that specializes when q 1 to [R n], where R n is the monoid of n × n matrices with entries from {0, 1} and at most one nonzero entry in each row and column. We use a Schur-Weyl duality between R n(q) and the quantum general linear group to compute a Frobenius formula, in the ring of symmetric functions, for the irreducible characters of R n(q). We then derive a recursive Murnaghan-Nakayama rule for these characters, and we use Robinson-Schensted-Knuth insertion to derive a Roichman rule for these characters. We also define a class of standard elements on which it is sufficient to compute characters. The results for R n(q) specialize when q = 1 to analogous results for R n.  相似文献

We give examples of non-amenable infinite conjugacy classes groups Γ with the Haagerup property, weakly amenable with constant Λcb(Γ) = 1, for which we show that the associated II1 factors L(Γ) are strongly solid, i.e. the normalizer of any diffuse amenable subalgebra P ì L(G){P \subset L(\Gamma)} generates an amenable von Neumann algebra. Nevertheless, for these examples of groups Γ, L(Γ) is not isomorphic to any interpolated free group factor L(F t ), for 1 < t ≤  ∞.  相似文献

Smash products and outer derivations   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
LetR be a prime ring andL a Lie algebra acting onR as “Q-outer” derivations (if charR=p≠0, assume thatL is restricted). We study ideals and the center of the smash productR #U(L) (respectivelyR #u(L) ifL is restricted) and use these results to study the relationship betweenR and the ring of constantsR L . More generally, for any finite-dimensional Hopf algebraH acting onR such thatR #H satisfies the “ideal intersection property”, we useR #H to study the relationship betweenR and the invariant ringR H . Given a fixed probability space (Ω,ℱ,ℙ) and m≥1, let X(t) be an L2(Ω) process satisfying necessary regularity conditions for existence of the mth iterated stochastic integral. For real-valued processes, these existence conditions are known from the work of D. Engel. Engel’s work is extended here to L2(Ω) processes defined on Clifford algebras of arbitrary signature (p,q), which reduce to the real case when p=q=0. These include as special cases processes on the complex numbers, quaternion algebra, finite fermion algebras, fermion Fock spaces, space-time algebra, the algebra of physical space, and the hypercube. Next, a graph-theoretic approach to stochastic integrals is developed in which the mth iterated stochastic integral corresponds to the limit in mean of a collection of weighted closed m-step walks on a growing sequence of graphs. Combinatorial properties of the Clifford geometric product are then used to create adjacency matrices for these graphs in which the appropriate weighted walks are recovered naturally from traces of matrix powers. Given real-valued L2(Ω) processes, Hermite and Poisson-Charlier polynomials are recovered in this manner.  相似文献

Let L be a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra, L ? be the ?-span of a Chevalley basis of L, and L R  = R ?? L ? be a Chevalley algebra of type L over a commutative ring R. Let 𝒩(R) be the nilpotent subalgebra of L R spanned by the root vectors associated with positive roots. A map ? of 𝒩(R) is called commuting if [?(x), x] = 0 for all x ∈ 𝒩(R). In this article, we prove that under some conditions for R, if Φ is not of type A 2, then a derivation (resp., an automorphism) of 𝒩(R) is commuting if and only if it is a central derivation (resp., automorphism), and if Φ is of type A 2, then a derivation (resp., an automorphism) of 𝒩(R) is commuting if and only if it is a sum (resp., a product) of a graded diagonal derivation (resp., automorphism) and a central derivation (resp., automorphism).  相似文献

Let K be a field of characteristic p > 0, let L be a restricted Lie algebra and let R be an associative K-algebra. It is shown that the various constructions in the literature of crossed product of R with u(L) are equivalent. We calculate explicit formulae relating the parameters involved and obtain a formula which hints at a noncommutative version of the Bell polynomials.  相似文献

Let R be a Dedekind domain with quotient field K and let Λ be an R-order in a finite-dimensional K-algebra A such that A/ Rad A is separable. We show that if A is not semisimple, then there exists a maximal R-order Δ in a skew-field such that the category Λ-Lat of R-projective Λ-modules admits a full module category Δ-Mod as a subfactor. __________ Translated from Fundamentalnaya i Prikladnaya Matematika, Vol. 11, No. 3, pp. 173–187, 2005.  相似文献

Let Λ be a preprojective algebra of simply laced Dynkin type Δ. We study maximal rigid Λ-modules, their endomorphism algebras and a mutation operation on these modules. This leads to a representation-theoretic construction of the cluster algebra structure on the ring ℂ[N] of polynomial functions on a maximal unipotent subgroup N of a complex Lie group of type Δ. As an application we obtain that all cluster monomials of ℂ[N] belong to the dual semicanonical basis. We show that Euler-Arnold tops on the algebra sl(2, ℂ) are equivalent to a two-particle system of Calogero type. We show that an arbitrary quadratic Hamiltonian of an sl(2, ℂ) top can be reduced to one of the three canonical Hamiltonians using the automorphism group of the algebra. For each canonical Hamiltonian, we obtain the corresponding two-particle system and write the bosonization formulas for the coadjoint orbits explicitly. We discuss the relation of the obtained formulas to nondynamical Antonov-Zabrodin-Hasegawa R-matrices for Calogero-Sutherland systems. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i Matematicheskaya Fizika, Vol. 157, No. 1, pp. 8–21, October, 2008.  相似文献

If T is a (commutative unital) ring extension of a ring R, then Λ(T /R) is defined to be the supremum of the lengths of chains of intermediate fields between R P /P R P and T Q /QT Q , where Q varies over Spec(T) and P:= QR. The invariant σ(R):= sup Λ(T/R), where T varies over all the overrings of R. It is proved that if Λ(S/R)< ∞ for all rings S between R and T, then (R, T) is an INC-pair; and that if (R, T) is an INC-pair such that T is a finite-type R-algebra, then Λ(T/R)< ∞. Consequently, if R is a domain with σ(R) < ∞, then the integral closure of R is a Prüfer domain; and if R is a Noetherian G-domain, then σ(R) < ∞, with examples showing that σ(R) can be any given non-negative integer. Other examples include that of a onedimensional Noetherian locally pseudo-valuation domain R with σ(R)=∞.  相似文献

Let G be an abelian group, ε an anti-bicharacter of G and L a G-graded ε Lie algebra (color Lie algebra) over a field of characteristic zero. We prove that for all G-graded, positively filtered A such that the associated graded algebra is isomorphic to the G-graded ε-symmetric algebra S(L), there is a G- graded ε-Lie algebra L and a G-graded scalar two cocycle , such that A is isomorphic to U ω (L) the generalized enveloping algebra of L associated with ω. We also prove there is an isomorphism of graded spaces between the Hochschild cohomology of the generalized universal enveloping algebra U(L) and the generalized cohomology of the color Lie algebra L.
