The compound previously reported as Ba2Ti2B2O9 has been reformulated as Ba3Ti3B2O12, or Ba3Ti3O6(BO3)2, a new barium titanium oxoborate. Small single crystals have been recovered from a melt with a composition of BaTiO3:BaTiB2O6 (molar ratio) cooled between 1100°C and 850°C. The crystal structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction: hexagonal system, non-centrosymmetric space group, a=8.7377(11) Å, c=3.9147(8) Å, Z=1, wR(F2)=0.039 for 504 unique reflections. Ba3Ti3O6(BO3)2 is isostructural with K3Ta3O6(BO3)2. Preliminary measurements of nonlinear optical properties on microcrystalline samples show that the second harmonic generation efficiency of Ba3Ti3O6(BO3)2 is equal to 95% of that of LiNbO3.  相似文献

采用优化的高温固相方法制备了稀土离子Eu3+和Tb3+掺杂的La7O6(BO3)(PO42系荧光材料,并对其物相行为、晶体结构、光致发光性能和热稳定性进行了详细研究。结果表明,La7O6(BO3)(PO42:Eu3+材料在紫外光激发下能够发射出红光,发射光谱中最强发射峰位于616 nm处,为5D07F2特征能级跃迁,Eu3+的最优掺杂浓度为0.08,对应的CIE坐标为(0.610 2,0.382 3);La7O6(BO3)(PO42:Tb3+材料在紫外光激发下能够发射出绿光,发射光谱中最强发射峰位于544 nm处,对应Tb3+5D47F5能级跃迁,Tb3+离子的最优掺杂浓度为0.15,对应的CIE坐标为(0.317 7,0.535 2)。此外,对2种材料的变温光谱分析发现Eu3+和Tb3+掺杂的La7O6(BO3)(PO42荧光材料均具有良好的热稳定性。  相似文献

The new oxyborate phosphors, Na3La9O3(BO3)8:Eu3+ (NLBO:Eu) and Na3La9O3(BO3)8:Tb3+ (NLBO:Tb) were prepared by solid-state reactions. The photoluminescence characteristics under UV excitation were investigated. The dominated emission of Eu3+ corresponding to the electric dipole transition 5D07F2 is located at 613 nm and bright green luminescence of NLBO:Tb attributed to the transition 5D47F5 is centered at 544 nm. The concentration dependence of the emission intensity showed that the optimum doping concentration of Eu and Tb is 30% and 10%, respectively.  相似文献

A novel non-centrosymmetric borate, BiCd3(AlO)3(BO3)4, has been prepared by solid state reaction methods below 750 °C. Single-crystal XRD analysis showed that it crystallizes in the hexagonal group P63 with a=10.3919(15) Å, c=5.7215(11) Å, Z=2. In its structure, AlO6 octahedra share edges to form 1D chains that are bridged by BO3 groups through sharing O atoms to form the 3D framework. The 3D framework affords two kinds of channels that are occupied by Bi3+/Cd2+ atoms only or by Bi3+/Cd2+ atoms together with BO3 groups. The IR spectrum further confirmed the presence of BO3 groups. Second-harmonic-generation measurements displayed a response of about 0.5×KDP (KH2PO4). UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectrum showed a band gap of about 3.19 eV. Solid-state fluorescence spectrum exhibited the maximum emission peak at around 390.6 nm. Band structure calculations indicated that it is an indirect semiconductor.  相似文献

We present an efficient way to search a host for ultraviolet (UV) phosphor from UV nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. With the guidance, Na3La2(BO3)3 (NLBO), as a promising NLO material with a broad transparency range and high damage threshold, was adopted as a host material for the first time. The lanthanide ions (Tb3+ and Eu3+)-doped NLBO phosphors have been synthesized by solid-state reaction. Luminescent properties of the Ln-doped (Ln=Tb3+, Eu3+) sodium lanthanum borate were investigated under UV ray excitation. The emission spectrum was employed to probe the local environments of Eu3+ ions in NLBO crystal. For red phosphor, NLBO:Eu, the measured dominating emission peak was at 613 nm, which is attributed to 5D0-7F2 transition of Eu3+. The luminescence indicates that the local symmetry of Eu3+ in NLBO crystal lattice has no inversion center. Optimum Eu3+ concentration of NLBO:Eu3+ under UV excitation with 395 nm wavelength is about 30 mol%. The green phosphor, NLBO:Tb, showed bright green emission at 543 with 252 nm excited light. The measured concentration quenching curve demonstrated that the maximum concentration of Tb3+ in NLBO was about 20%. The luminescence mechanism of Ln-doped NLBO (Tb3+ and Eu3+) was analyzed. The relative high quenching concentration was also discussed.  相似文献

Two oxoborates, (Pb3O)2(BO3)2MO4 (M=Cr, Mo), have been prepared by solid-state reactions below 700 °C. Single-crystal XRD analyses showed that the Cr compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic group Pnma with a=6.4160(13) Å, b=11.635(2) Å, c=18.164(4) Å, Z=4 and the Mo analog in the group Cmcm with a=18.446(4) Å, b=6.3557(13) Å, c=11.657(2) Å, Z=4. Both compounds are characterized by one-dimensional chains formed by corner-sharing OPb4 tetrahedra. BO3 and CrO4 (MoO4) groups are located around the chains to hold them together via Pb–O bonds. The IR spectra further confirmed the presence of BO3 groups in both structures and UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra showed band gaps of about 1.8 and 2.9 eV for the Cr and Mo compounds, respectively. Band structure calculations indicated that (Pb3O)2(BO3)2MoO4 is a direct semiconductor with the calculated energy gap of about 2.4 eV.  相似文献

Some K2O-TiO2-GeO2 glasses with a large amount of TiO2 contents (15-25 mol%) such as 25K2O-25TiO2-50GeO2 have been prepared, and their electronic polarizability, Raman scattering spectra, and crystallization behavior are examined to clarify thermal properties and structure of the glasses and to develop new nonlinear optical crystallized glasses. It is proposed that the glasses consist of the network of TiO6 and GeO4 polyhedra. The glasses show large optical basicities of Λ=0.88-0.92, indicating the high polarizabity of TiOn (n=4-6) polyhedra in the glasses. K2TiGe3O9 crystals are formed through crystallization in all glasses prepared in the present study. In particular, 20K2O-20TiO2-60GeO2 glass shows bulk crystallization and 18K2O-18TiO2-64GeO2 glass exhibits surface crystallization giving the c-axis orientation. The crystallized glasses show second harmonic generations (SHGs), and it is suggested that the distortion of TiO6 octahedra in K2TiGe3O9 crystals induces SHGs.  相似文献

We report the first crystallographic study within the low-temperature (<40 K) spin-gap region of the two-dimensional frustrated antiferromagnet SrCu2(BO3)2. The crystal system does not deviate from the tetragonal I-42m space group symmetry. However, our high-resolution neutron powder diffraction measurements uncover subtle structural modifications below 34 K, concomitant to the formation of the dimer singlet ground state. Intimate spin-lattice coupling leads to negative thermal expansion of the tetragonal structure, which reflects into particular local lattice adjustments. The extracted structural parameters suggest the reduction of the buckling found in the copper-borate planes and the strengthening of the leading, in-plane intra-dimer superexchange interaction. The observed contraction along the c-axis, associated with the inter-dimer exchange in adjacent layers, indicates the involvement of weaker three-dimensional interactions in the magnetic properties. The rules posed by the crystal symmetry do not preclude Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interactions, which therefore remain as an important source of spin anisotropy necessary to rationalise the ground state behaviour.  相似文献

Crystals of two new layered BaNaSc(BO3)2 (I) and BaNaY(BO3)2 (II) orthoborates are grown from the melt-solution by the spontaneous crystallization onto the platinum loop. Single crystal X-ray analysis showed that the compounds are isostructural with the space group R3¯, a=5.23944(12) and 5.3338(2) Å, and c=34.5919(11) and 35.8303(19) Å for I and II, respectively, Z=6. The distinctive feature of the structure is the close-packed composite anion-cation (Ba,Na)(BO3) layers. The layers are combined into the base building packages of two types: {M3+[Ba2+(BO3)3−]2}+ and {M3+[Na+(BO3)3−]2}, where M is Sc or Y. Neutral-charge two-package (four-layer) blocks are stacked by the rhombohedral principle into twelve layers of the cubic packing.  相似文献

Using Na2CO3-H3BO3-NaF as fluxes, transparent RE:Na3La9O3(BO3)8 (abbr. RE:NLBO, RE=Er, Yb) crystals have been grown by the top seed solution growth (TSSG) method. The X-ray powder diffraction analysis shows that the RE:NLBO crystals have the same structure with NLBO. The element contents were determined by molar to be 0.64% Er3+ in Er:NLBO, 2.70% Yb3+ in Yb:NLBO, respectively. The polarized absorption spectra of RE:NLBO have been measured at room temperature and show that both Er:NLBO and Yb:NLBO have a strong absorption bands near 980 nm with wide FWHM (Full Wave at Half Maximum) (21 nm for Er:NLBO and 25 nm for Yb:NLBO). Fluorescence spectra have been recorded. Yb:NLBO has the emission peaks at 985 nm, 1028 nm and 1079 nm and the emission peak of Er:NLBO is at 1536 nm. Spectral parameters have been calculated by the Judd-Ofelt theory for Er:NLBO and the reciprocity method for Yb:NLBO, respectively. The calculated values show that Er:NLBO is a candidate of 1.55 μm laser crystals and Yb:NLBO is a candidate for self-frequency doubling crystal.  相似文献

The two new compounds, Sr4Cu3(AsO4)2(AsO3OH)4·3H2O (1) and Ba2Cu4(AsO4)2(AsO3OH)3(2), were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. They represent previously unknown structure types and are the first compounds synthesized in the systems SrO/BaO-CuO-As2O5-H2O. Their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction [space group C2/c, a=18.536(4) Å, b=5.179(1) Å, c=24.898(5) Å, β=93.67(3)°, V=2344.0(8) Å3, Z=4 for 1; space group P42/n, a=7.775(1) Å, c=13.698(3) Å, V=828.1(2) Å3, Z=2 for 2]. The crystal structure of 1 is related to a group of compounds formed by Cu2+-(XO4)3− layers (X=P5+, As5+) linked by M cations (M=alkali, alkaline earth, Pb2+, or Ag+) and partly by hydrogen bonds. In 1, worth mentioning is the very short hydrogen bond length, D···A=2.477(3) Å. It is one of the examples of extremely short hydrogen bonds, where the donor and acceptor are crystallographically different. Compound 2 represents a layered structure consisting of Cu2O8 centrosymmetric dimers crosslinked by As1φ4 tetrahedra, where φ is O or OH, which are interconnected by Ba, As2 and hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional network. The layers are formed by Cu2O8 centrosymmetric dimers of CuO5 edge-sharing polyhedra, crosslinked by As1O4 tetrahedra. Vibrational spectra (FTIR and Raman) of both compounds are described. The spectroscopic manifestation of the very short hydrogen bond in 1, and ABC-like spectra in 2 were discussed.  相似文献

New complex phosphates of the general formula K2M0.5Ti1.5(PO4)3 (M=Mn, Co) have been obtained from the melting mixture of KPO3, K4P2O7, TiO2 and CoCO3·mCo(OH)2 or Mn(H2PO4)2 by means of a flux technique. The synthesized phosphates have been characterized by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction and the FTIR-spectroscopy. The compounds crystallize in the cubic system with the space group P213 and cell parameters a=9.9030(14) Å for K2Mn0.5Ti1.5(PO4)3 and a=9.8445(12) Å for K2Co0.5Ti1.5(PO4)3. Both phosphates are isostructural with the langbeinite mineral and contain four formula unit K2M0.5Ti1.5(PO4)3 per unit cell. The structure can be described using [M2(PO4)3] framework composed of two [MO6] octahedra interlinked via three [PO4] tetrahedra. The Curie-Weiss-type behavior is observed in the magnetic susceptibility.  相似文献

The orientation relationships of Ti-rich barium titanate phases formed by solid state reactions at high temperatures were studied using (110) TiO2 (rutile) and (001) BaTiO3 single-crystal substrates. Well-oriented Ba6Ti17O40 islands were observed after a vapor–solid reaction of a BaO quantity equivalent to a nominal BaO film thickness of 1 nm with the TiO2 substrate, whereas a thin film consisting of well-oriented BaTiO3 and Ba6Ti17O40 grains was formed after vapor–solid reaction of a BaO quantity equivalent to a nominal BaO film thickness of 50 nm with the rutile substrate. A topotaxial orientation relationship between Ba6Ti17O40 and TiO2 was found. Topotaxy is facilitated by a certain similarity in the oxygen sublattices of TiO2 and Ba6Ti17O40. The mechanism of the reaction occurring between BaO vapor and the TiO2 surface at high temperature is discussed. On the other hand, several well-oriented Ba4Ti13O30, Ba6Ti17O40 and Ba2Ti5O12 phases were observed to be embedded in the mainly forming Ba2TiSi2O8 phase after a solid–solid reaction of amorphous SiO2 thin films with (001) BaTiO3 substrates at temperatures above 1000 °C. They were formed by a topotaxial reaction involving the transformation of (111) planes of BaTiO3 into (001) planes of the Ti-rich phases by removal of BaO and insertion of TiO2. Cross-sections of the interfaces between the substrates and the various reaction products are studied by (high-resolution) transmission electron microscopy.  相似文献

以湿化学法制得Zr(OH)4和Sm(OH)3的共沉淀为前驱体, 在碱性介质中用水热法合成了(ZrO2)0.86(Sm2O3)0.14及(ZrO2)0.88(Sm2O3)0.12纳米粉体. 将纳米粉体在较低温度(1450 ℃)下烧结制得了致密的固体电解质陶瓷样品, 比通常高温固相反应法采用的烧结温度(>1600 ℃)降低了150 ℃以上. XRD测定结果表明, (ZrO2)0.86(Sm2O3)0.14纳米粉体及其烧结体均为立方相, 但(ZrO2)0.88(Sm2O3)0.12纳米粉体为立方相, 它的烧结体为立方相和单斜相的混合相. 用交流阻抗谱法、氧浓差电池法及氧泵(氧的电化学透过)法研究了(ZrO2)0.86(Sm2O3)0.14陶瓷样品在600~1000 ℃下的离子导电特性. 结果表明, 该陶瓷样品在600~1000 ℃下氧离子迁移数为1, 氧离子电导率的最大值为3.2×10-2 S•cm-1, 是一个优良的氧离子导体; 它的氧泵性能明显地优于YSZ.  相似文献

A new pyrochlore-type Na0.32Bi1.68Ti2O6.46(OH)0.44 with the cubic cell of a=10.339(5) Å was prepared by hydrothermal reaction using TiO2 (anatase) and Bi2O3 in NaOH solution. This compound was obtained when the molar ratio of NaOH/TiO2 was above 2 and the reaction temperature was above 240 °C. The TG-curve of as-prepared sample showed a mass loss of 0.8 mass% which was caused by release of OH group. This compound decomposed to a pyrochlore-type compound and a layered-type Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 above 800 °C. The optical band gap of Na0.32Bi1.68Ti2O6.46(OH)0.44 was estimated to be 2.5 eV.  相似文献

用液相反应-前驱物烧结法制备了Cr2(WO4)3和Cr2(MoO4)3粉体。298~1 073 K的原位粉末X射线衍射数据表明Cr2(WO4)3和Cr2(MoO4)3的晶胞体积随温度的升高而增大, 本征线热膨胀系数分别为(1.274±0.003)×10-6 K-1和(1.612±0.003)×10-6 K-1。用热膨胀仪研究了Cr2(WO4)3和Cr2(MoO4)3在静态空气中298~1 073 K范围内热膨胀行为,即开始表现为正热膨胀,随后在相转变点达到最大值,最后表现为负热膨胀,其负热膨胀系数分别为(-7.033±0.014)×10-6 K-1和(-9.282±0.019)×10-6 K-1。  相似文献

Thin crystals of La2O3, LaAlO3, La2/3TiO3, La2TiO5, and La2Ti2O7 have been irradiated in situ using 1 MeV Kr2+ ions at the Intermediate Voltage Electron Microscope-Tandem User Facility (IVEM-Tandem), Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). We observed that La2O3 remained crystalline to a fluence greater than 3.1×1016 ions cm−2 at a temperature of 50 K. The four binary oxide compounds in the two systems were observed through the crystalline-amorphous transition as a function of ion fluence and temperature. Results from the ion irradiations give critical temperatures for amorphisation (Tc) of 647 K for LaAlO3, 840 K for La2Ti2O7, 865 K for La2/3TiO3, and 1027 K for La2TiO5. The Tc values observed in this study, together with previous data for Al2O3 and TiO2, are discussed with reference to the melting points for the La2O3-Al2O3 and La2O3-TiO2 systems and the different local environments within the four crystal structures. Results suggest that there is an observable inverse correlation between Tc and melting temperature (Tm) in the two systems. More complex relationships exist between Tc and crystal structure, with the stoichiometric perovskite LaAlO3 being the most resistant to amorphisation.  相似文献

The structure of barium-titanium-metaborate xBaO-xB2O3-yTiO2 (y=0%, 4%, 8%, 16% and x=50-y/2) amorphous and crystallized powders, obtained using a polymeric precursor method, was investigated by Ti and B K-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and 11B-NMR high-resolution techniques. XANES study of amorphous samples shows that Ti4+ ions exist as [4]Ti species associated to [6]Ti and [5]Ti species in a practically equivalent amount. After crystallization, titanium environment is predominately composed by [6]Ti species. According to XANES results obtained at the B K-edge, the fraction of boron in tetrahedral sites ([4]B) reduces as the amount of TiO2 is increased from x=0% to 4%, with a consequent increase of boron in trigonal sites ([3]B). By a combination of 11B-NMR spin-echo and triple quantum magic angle spinning (3Q-MAS) techniques, the detailed borate speciation was determined as consisting in [4]B and two kind of trigonal sites, [3]BA and [3]BB, corresponding, respectively, to borates sharing three and two O atoms with other boron units. NMR results reveal not only the reduction in boron coordination also seen by XANES but also the simultaneous reduction in the condensation degree of trigonal units, when the Ti content is increased in the glass. In crystallized samples, β-BaB2O4 and BaTi(BO3)2 phases were identified and quantified by 11B-NMR.  相似文献

The structures of the oxyorthogermanate La2(GeO4)O and the apatite-structured La9.33(GeO4)6O2 have been refined from powder neutron diffraction data. La2(GeO4)O crystallizes in a monoclinic unit cell (P21/c) and is cation stoichiometric in contrast to previous reports. La9.33(GeO4)6O2 crystallizes in a hexagonal unit cell (P63/m) and the powder diffraction data show anisotropic peak broadening that is observed in electron diffraction patterns as incommensurate diffuse spots at hkq reciprocal planes (with q=1.6-1.7) and can be attributed to a correlated disorder in the “apatite channels”. This compound was doped up to a nominal composition close to M2La8(GeO4)6O2 with M=Ca, Sr, Ba. The dopant ions preferentially occupy the 4f sites as the number of La vacancies decreases. The measured ionic conductivity of La9.33(GeO4)6O2 is about 3 orders of magnitude larger than for La2(GeO4)O at high temperatures and decreases with increasing dopant content from the highest value of about 0.16 S cm−1 at 1160 K.  相似文献
