可解群的若干充分条件

A subgroup if of a group G is called semipermutable if it is permutable with every subgroup K of G with (|H|, |K|) - 1, and s-semipermutable if it is permutable with every Sylow p-subgroup of G with (p, |H|) = 1. In this paper, some sufficient conditions for a group to be solvable are obtained in terms of s-semipermutability.     

Regulation of a prey-predator fishery by taxation

Bioeconomic exploitation of a prey-predator fishery is discussed by using a reasonable catch-rate function instead of the usual 'catch-per-unit-effort hypothesis'. The model is based on the assumption that only the prey species is harvested. A regulatory agency controls exploitation of the fishery by imposing a tax per unit biomass of the landed fish. The fishing effort is taken as a dynamic variable depending on the capital invested in the fishery. The dynamical system consisting of the growth equations of the species and also the fishing effort is formulated. The existence and stability of steady states are discussed. The optimal tax policy is studied with the help of Pontryagin's maximum principle. Finally, some numerical examples are carried out to illustrate the results of the model.

有限循环群的Fuzzy子群的等价类数

有限循环群G的F子群可以有无数个．但是．若当两个F子群的水平集构成的集合相等就称其等价的话，那么其等价类数是有限的。通过研究群的合成群列、商群列以及数的因数列和极大因数列找出了有限循环群的极大F子群和F子群的等价类数的求解公式．并给出二者之间的关系式．     

最小度和[a,b]-对等图

既是[a,b]-覆盖又是[a,b]-消去的图称为[a,b]-对等图.本文研究了最小度和[a,b]-对等图之间的关系,给出了一个图是[a,b]-对等图的关于最小度的充分条件.     

完全偶图的星因子计数

图G的一个星因于是G的一个支撑子图，其中每一个分支是一个星图．本文研究完全偶图Km,n的星因子计数，给出了Km,x存在由K个分支构成的星因子的充要条件，进而给出了Km,n星因子计数的公式．     

分离向量与自反性

设A是B(X)的子代数,且A具有分离向量x0,本文讨论它的2-自反性和亚自反性,并就具有分离向量的交换算子代数.部分地回答了J.A.Deddens在文献[7]中提出的一些关于自反性的问题.     

On the stability of inner and outer approximations of a convex compact set by a ball

The finite-dimensional problems of outer and inner estimation of a convex compact set by a ball of some norm (circumscribed and inscribed ball problems) are considered. The stability of the solution with respect to the error in the specification of the estimated compact set is generally characterized. A new solution criterion for the outer estimation problem is obtained that relates the latter to the inner estimation problem for the lower Lebesgue set of the distance function to the most distant point of the estimated compact set. A quantitative estimate for the stability of the center of an inscribed ball is given under the additional assumption that the compact set is strongly convex. Assuming that the used norm is strongly quasi-convex, a quantitative stability estimate is obtained for the center of a circumscribed ball.

Weakly left localizable rings

A new class of rings, the class of weakly left localizable rings, is introduced. A ring R is called weakly left localizable if each non-nilpotent element of R is invertible in some left localization S^?1R of the ring R. Explicit criteria are given for a ring to be a weakly left localizable ring provided the ring has only finitely many maximal left denominator sets (eg, this is the case for all left Noetherian rings). It is proved that a ring with finitely many maximal left denominator sets that satisfies some natural conditions is a weakly left localizable ring iff its left quotient ring is a direct product of finitely many local rings such that their radicals are nil ideals.     

On the boundary value problem in a dihedral angle for normally hyperbolic systems of first order

Some structural properties as well as a general three-dimensional boundary value problem for normally hyperbolic systems of partial differential equations of first order are studied. A condition is given which enables one to reduce the system under consideration to a first-order system with the spliced principal part. It is shown that the initial problem is correct in a certain class of functions if some conditions are fulfilled.     

向量到子空间的距离及其应用

给出了向量到有限维子空间距离的定义及求法 ,并推广到向量到可数无限维子空间距离 .采用两种方法求距离并比较了它们的运算量 .揭示了 Cholesky分解法与 Schmidt正交化方法的内在联系 .最后利用向量到子空间距离给出了矛盾方程组最小二乘解的求法     

一个描述血吸虫病的数学模型的周期解

研究一个描述血吸虫病的周期微分方程模型dx/dt=-rx+A/S(t)y,dy/dt=-δ(t)y+B(S(t)-y) x2/1+ x.数值计算发现该系统同时具有渐近稳定的零解和一个正周期解.通过证明该系统解的有界性,并在一个函数空间上构造单调有界序列,进而证明了在一定条件下正周期解的存在性.     

Asymptotics of a second-order differential equation with a small parameter in the case when the reduced equation has two solutions

The boundary value problem for a second-order nonlinear ordinary differential equation with a small parameter multiplying the highest derivative is examined. It is assumed that the reduced equation has two solutions with intersecting graphs. Near the intersection point, the asymptotic behavior of the solution to the original problem is fairly complex. A uniform asymptotic approximation to the solution that is accurate up to any prescribed power of the small parameter is constructed and justified.     

Estimation of the Mean of a Wiener Sheet

A shifted Wiener sheet is observed above a decreasing curve Γ. By the help of a direct discrete approach and under weaker assumptions than in the paper of Arató [Comput. Math. Appl. 33 (1997), 13–25], an explicit formula is derived for the maximum likelihood estimator of the shift parameter. This estimator is a weighted linear combination of the values at the endpoints of the curve Γ and weighted integrals of the observed process and its normal derivative along the curve Γ. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

Critical points of the area functional of a complex closed curve on the manifold of Kähler metrics

We consider a compact complex manifold of dimension that admits Kähler metrics and we assume that is a closed complex curve. We denote by the space of classes of Kähler forms that define Kähler metrics of volume 1 on and define by . We show how the Riemann-Hodge bilinear relations imply that any critical point of is the strict global minimum and we give conditions under which there is such a critical point : A positive multiple of is the Poincaré dual of the homology class of . Applying this to the Abel-Jacobi map of a curve into its Jacobian, , we obtain that the Theta metric minimizes the area of within all Kähler metrics of volume 1 on .

Linear Operators that Preserve Commuting Pairs of Nonnegative Real Matrices

A pair of n×n matrices (A, B) is called a commuting pair if AB=BA. We characterize the linear operators that preserve the set of commuting pairs of matrices over a subsemiring of nonnegative real numbers.     

A posteriori error estimates for a time discrete scheme for a phase-field system of Penrose-Fife type

A time discrete scheme is used to approximate the solution toa phase field system of Penrose–Fife type with a non-conservedorder parameter. An a posteriori error estimate is presentedthat allows the estimation of the difference between continuousand semidiscrete solutions by quantities that can be calculatedfrom the approximation and given data.     

Minimum Cutsets for an Element of a Subspace Lattice over a Finite Vector Space

Let L_n(q) denote the lattice of subspaces of ann-dimensional vector space over the finite field of q elements, ordered byinclusion. In this note, we prove that for all n and m the minimum cutsetfor an element A with is justL(A) if m < n/ 2, is U(A) if m > n/ 2, and both L(A) andU(A) if m = n/ 2, where L(A) is the collection of all such that and , and U(A) the collection of all such that and . Hence a finite vector space analog isgiven for the theorem of Griggs and Kleitman that determines all the minimumcutsets for an element of a Boolean algebra.
