We consider the compound binomial model, and assume that dividends are paid to the shareholders according to an admissible strategy with dividend rates bounded by a constant. The company controls the amount of dividends in order to maximize the cumulative expected discounted dividends prior to ruin. We show that the optimal value function is the unique solution of a discrete HJB equation. Moreover, we obtain some properties of the optimal payment strategy, and offer a simple algorithm for obtaining the optimal strategy. The key of our method is to transform the value function. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the transformation method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the dividend optimization problem for an insurance company, whose surplus follows a jump-diffusion process. The objective of the company is to maximize the expected total discounted dividends paid out until the time of ruin. Under concavity assumption on the optimal value function, the paper states some general properties and, in particular, smoothness results on the optimal value function, whose analysis mainly relies on viscosity solutions of the associated Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equations. Based on these properties, the explicit expression of the optimal value function is obtained. And some numerical calculations are presented as the application of the results.  相似文献

This work develops asymptotically optimal dividend policies to maximize the expected present value of dividends until ruin.Compound Poisson processes with regime switching are used to model the surplus and the switching(a continuous-time controlled Markov chain) represents random environment and other economic conditions.Assuming the switching to be fast varying together with suitable conditions,it is shown that the system has a limit that is an average with respect to the invariant measure of a related Markov chain.Under simple conditions, the optimal policy of the limit dividend strategy is a threshold policy.Using the optimal policy of the limit system as a guide, feedback control for the original surplus is then developed. It is demonstrated that the constructed dividend policy is asymptotically optimal.  相似文献

In the dual risk model, the surplus process of a company is a L′evy process with sample paths that are skip-free downwards. In this paper, the authors assume that the surplus process is the sum of a compound Poisson process and an independent Wiener process. The dual of the jump-diffusion risk model under a threshold dividend strategy is discussed. The authors derive a set of two integro-differential equations satisfied by the expected total discounted dividend until ruin. The cases where profits follow an exponential or mixtures of exponential distributions are solved. Applying the key method of the Laplace transform, the authors show how the integro-differential equations are solved. The authors also discuss the conditions for optimality and show how an optimal dividend threshold can be calculated as well.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of optimal dividend payout and equity issuance for a company whose liquid asset is modeled by the dual of classical risk model with diffusion. We assume that there exist both proportional and fixed transaction costs when issuing new equity. Our objective is to maximize the expected cumulative present value of the dividend payout minus the equity issuance until the time of bankruptcy, which is defined as the first time when the company’s capital reserve falls below zero. The solution to the mixed impulse-singular control problem relies on two auxiliary subproblems: one is the classical dividend problem without equity issuance, and the other one assumes that the company never goes bankrupt by equity issuance. We first provide closed-form expressions of the value functions and the optimal strategies for both auxiliary subproblems. We then identify the solution to the original problem with either of the auxiliary problems. Our results show that the optimal strategy should either allow for bankruptcy or keep the company’s reserve above zero by issuing new equity, depending on the model’s parameters. We also present some economic interpretations and sensitivity analysis for our results by theoretical analysis and numerical examples.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a risk model in which two types of individual claims, main claims and by-claims, are defined. Every by-claim is induced by the main claim randomly and may be delayed for one time period with a certain probability. The dividend policy that certain amount of dividends will be paid as long as the surplus is greater than a constant dividend barrier is also introduced into this delayed claims risk model. By means of the probability generating functions, formulae for the expected present value of total dividend payments prior to ruin are obtained for discrete-type individual claims. Explicit expressions for the corresponding results are derived for K n claim amount distributions. Numerical illustrations are also given.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of maximizing the total discounted utility of dividend payments for a Cramér-Lundberg risk model subject to both proportional and fixed transaction costs. We assume that dividend payments are prohibited unless the surplus of insurance company has reached a level b.Given fixed level b,we derive a integro-differential equation satisfied by the value function.By solving this equation we obtain the analytical solutions of the value function and the optimal dividend strategy when claims are exponentially distributed. Finally we show how the threshold b can be determined so that the expected ruin time is not less than some T.Also, numerical examples are presented to illustrate our results.  相似文献

This paper considers the dividend optimization problem for an insurance company under the consideration of internal competition between different units inside the company. The objective is to find a reinsurance policy and a dividend payment scheme so as to maximize the expected discounted value of the dividend payment, and the expected present value of an amount which the insurer earns until the time of ruin. By solving the corresponding constrained Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equation, we obtain the value function and the optimal reinsurance policy and dividend payment.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an insurance company which has the option of investing in a risky asset and a risk-free asset, whose price parameters are driven by a finite state Markov chain. The risk process of the insurance company is modeled as a diffusion process whose diffusion and drift parameters switch over time according to the same Markov chain. We study the Markov-modulated mean-variance problem for the insurer and derive explicitly the closed form of the efficient strategy and efficient frontier. In the case of no regime switching, we can see that the efficient frontier in our paper coincides with that of [10] when there is no pure jump.  相似文献

This paper considers a perturbed renewal risk process in which the inter-claim times have a phase-type distribution under a threshold dividend strategy. Integro-differential equations with certain boundary conditions for the moment-generating function and the mth moment of the present value of all dividends until ruin are derived. Explicit expressions for the expectation of the present value of all dividends until ruin are obtained when the claim amount distribution is from the rational family. Finally, we present an example.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a compound Poisson risk model with taxes paid according to a loss-carry-forward system and dividends paid under a threshold strategy. First, the closed-form expression of the probability function for the total number of taxation periods over the lifetime of the surplus process is derived. Second, analytical expression of the expected accumulated discounted dividends paid between two consecutive taxation periods is provided. In addition, explicit expressions are also given for the exponential individual claims.  相似文献

In this article, we consider an optimal proportional reinsurance with constant dividend barrier. First, we derive the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation satisfied by the expected discounted dividend payment, and then get the optimal stochastic control and the optimal constant barrier. Secondly, under the optimal constant dividend barrier strategy, we consider the moments of the discounted dividend payment and their explicit expressions are given. Finally, we discuss the Laplace transform of the time of ruin and its explicit expression is also given.  相似文献

This paper considers a model of an insurance company which is allowed to invest a risky asset and to purchase proportional reinsurance. The objective is to find the policy which maximizes the expected total discounted dividend pay-out until the time of bankruptcy and the terminal value of the company under liquidity constraint. We find the solution of this problem via solving the problem with zero terminal value. We also analyze the influence of terminal value on the optimal policy.  相似文献

We consider an optimization problem of an insurance company in the diffusion setting, which controls the dividends payout as well as the capital injections. To maximize the cumulative expected discounted dividends minus the penalized discounted capital injections until the ruin time, there is a possibility of (cheap or non-cheap) proportional reinsurance. We solve the control problems by constructing two categories of suboptimal models, one without capital injections and one with no bankruptcy by capital injection. Then we derive the explicit solutions for the value function and totally characterize the optimal strategies. Particularly, for cheap reinsurance, they are the same as those in the model of no bankruptcy.  相似文献

In this paper,we consider the dividend problem in a two-state Markov-modulated dual risk model,in which the gain arrivals, gain sizes and expenses are influenced by a Markov process.A system of integrodifferential equations for the expected value of the discounted dividends until ruin is derived. In the case of exponential gain sizes, the equations are solved and the best barrier is obtained via numerical example. Finally, using numerical example,we compare the best barrier and the expected discounted dividends in the two-state Markov-modulated dual risk model with those in an associated averaged compound Poisson risk model.Numerical results suggest that one could use the results of the associated averaged compound Poisson risk model to approximate those for the two-state Markov-modulated dual risk model.  相似文献

This paper focuses on an optimal reinsurance and investment problem for an insurance corporation which holds the shares of an insurer and a reinsurer.Assume that the insurer can purchase reinsurance from the reinsurer, and that both the insurer and the reinsurer are allowed to invest in a risk-free asset and a risky asset which are governed by the Heston model and are distinct from one another. We aim to find the optimal reinsuranceinvestment strategy by maximizing the expected Hyperbolic Absolute...  相似文献

The Delaunay triangulation, in both classic and more generalized sense, is studied in this paper for minimizing the linear interpolation error (measure in L^P-norm) for a given function. The classic Delaunay triangulation can then be characterized as an optimal triangulation that minimizes the interpolation error for the isotropic function ‖x‖^2 among all the triangulations with a given set of vertices. For a more general function, a functiondependent Delaunay triangulation is then defined to be an optimal triangulation that minimizes the interpolation error for this function and its construction can be obtained by a simple lifting and projection procedure. The optimal Delaunay triangulation is the one that minimizes the interpolation error among all triangulations with the same number of vertices, i.e. the distribution of vertices are optimized in order to minimize the interpolation error. Such a function-depend entoptimal Delaunay triangulation is proved to exist for any given convex continuous function. On an optimal Delaunay triangulation associated with f, it is proved that △↓f at the interior vertices can be exactly recovered by the function values on its neighboring vertices.Since the optimal Delaunay triangulation is difficult to obtain in practice, the concept of nearly optimal triangulation is introduced and two sufficient conditions are presented for a triangulation to be nearly optimal.  相似文献

This article discusses the problem of utility maximization in a market with random-interval payoffs without short-selling prohibition. A novel expected utility model is given to measure an investor’s subjective view toward random interval wealth. Some techniques are proposed to transfer a complex programming involving interval numbers into a simple non-linear programming. Under the existence of the optimal strategy, relations between the optimal strategy and assets’ prices are discussed. Some properties of the maximal utility function with respect to the endowment are given.  相似文献

We consider a dividends model with a stochastic jump perturbed by diffusion. First, we prove that the expected discounted dividends function is twice continuously differentiable under the condition that the claim distribution function has continuous density. Then we show that the expected discounted dividends function under a barrier strategy satisfies some integro-differential equation of defective renewal type, and the solution of which can be explicitly expressed as a convolution formula. Finally, we study the Laplace transform of ruin time on the modified surplus process.  相似文献
