The evolution of entanglement in a one-dimensional Ising chain with both two-body and three-body interactions, under two types of initial states, is numerically simulated. We analyse three problems concerning the dynamics of pairwise entanglement: (i) the possibility of generating large entanglement from an initial separable state by the use of a selective irradiation scheme; (ii) the effect of three-body interaction on the generation of entanglement from an initial separable state; (iii) the effect of three-body interaction on the decay of the entanglement from a state with only (m,n)-pair maximal entangled, and the rest in product form. It is shown that a large pairwise concurrence Cmn can be obtained when the resonant, transverse radio-frequency fields are selectively switched on from the mth to nth spins. Three-body interaction will decrease the oscillation amplitude of the nearest neighbour concurrence, while the oscillation amplitude of remote pairwise concurrence will be greatly increased with the consideration of three-body interactions. For an initial (m,n)-pair maximal entangled state, a slow decay of the pairwise concurrence Cmn is found with the introduction of three-body interactions.  相似文献

With the introduction of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction, dynamics of the remote entanglement in one-dimensional Ising chains is investigated. It is found that the DM interaction can excite the remote entanglement from an initial Néel state. For a given strength of DM interaction, the concurrence between the end spins oscillates and decreases simultaneously with the increase of the chain’s length, and drops to zero at a critical length. For the chains with two and three spins, it is very interesting that the dynamics of the staggered magnetization (or the chiral parameter) can be used to qualitatively estimate the evolution of the remote concurrence between the end spins. At last, we discuss the generation of W state from the Ising chain with DM interactions, and it is obtained that W state can only be prepared in the three-qubit and four-qubit chains with a specific strength of DM interaction.  相似文献

The dynamics of the pairwise entanglement in a qubit lattice in the presence of static imperfections exhibits different regimes. We show that there is a transition from a perturbative region, where the entanglement is stable against imperfections, to the ergodic regime, in which a pair of qubits becomes entangled with the rest of the lattice and the pairwise entanglement drops to zero. The transition is almost independent of the size of the quantum computer. We consider both the case of an initial maximally entangled and separable state. In this last case there is a broad crossover region in which the computer imperfections can be used to create a significant amount of pairwise entanglement.  相似文献

Motivated by recent experimental studies on coherent dynamics transfer in three interacting atoms or electron spins [Phys. Rev. Lett 114(2015) 113002, Phys. Rev. Lett 120(2018) 243604], here we study entanglement entropy transfer in three interacting qubits. We analytically calculate time evolutions of wave function, density matrix and entanglement of the system. We find that initially entangled two qubits may alternatively transfer their entanglement entropy to other two qubit pairs. Thus dynamical evolution of three interacting qubits may produce a genuine three-partite entangled state through entanglement entropy transfers. In particular, different pairwise interactions of the three qubits endow symmetric and asymmetric evolutions of the entanglement transfer,characterized by the quantum mutual information and concurrence. Finally, we discuss an experimental proposal of three Rydberg atoms for testing the entanglement dynamics transfer of this kind.  相似文献

The entanglement and optimal dense coding at entangled states of a 1D Ising chain in the presence of an external magnetic field with an arbitrary direction, are investigated. The entanglement concurrence and the optimal dense coding capacity are calculated for different orientations of the magnetic field. It has been found that the direction of external magnetic field has effects on the entanglement concurrence and optimal dense coding capacity. In the case of antiferromagnet, the quantum phase transition occurs when an external magnetic field is parallel to Ising orientation. The concurrence increases when the angle between the direction of magnetic field and Ising orientation become smaller at ground state in certain parameter regimes, so does the optimal dense coding. The maximum moves toward the direction perpendicular to the Ising orientation in higher temperature. In contrast, the more concurrence and optimal dense coding can be produced only in the case of an external magnetic field perpendicular to Ising orientation at zero and low temperature for ferromagnetic case.  相似文献

Dynamics of the one-dimensional open Ising chain under influence of transverse magnetic field applied in form of π-pulses is studied. It is shown how the application of a specific sequence of such instant kicks to selective spins stimulates arising of perfect dynamical pairwise entanglement between ends of the spin chain. Analytic formulas for the concurrence dynamics are derived. It is also shown that the time required to perfectly entangle the ends of the chains grows linearly with the number of spins in the chain. The effect of the phase decoherence is briefly analyzed.  相似文献

The pairwise entanglement between neighboring spins in a general mixed-spin chain with arbitrary spins S and 1/2 is investigated in the thermodynamical limit. The entanglement is witnessed by the magnetic susceptibility which determines a characteristic temperature for an entangled thermal state. The characteristic temperature is nearly proportional to the interaction J and the mixed-spin S. The bound of negativity is obtained on the basis of the magnetic susceptibility. It is found that the macroscopic magnetic properties are affected by the quantum entanglement in the real solids.  相似文献

We consider a quantum many-body system made of N interacting S=1/2 spins on a lattice, and develop a formalism which allows to extract, out of conventional magnetic observables, the quantum probabilities for any selected spin pair to be in maximally entangled or factorized two-spin states. This result is used in order to capture the meaning of entanglement properties in terms of magnetic behavior. In particular, we consider the concurrence between two spins and show how its expression extracts information on the presence of bipartite entanglement out of the probability distributions relative to specific sets of two-spin quantum states. We apply the above findings to the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model in a uniform magnetic field, both on a chain and on a two-leg ladder. Using Quantum Monte Carlo simulations, we obtain the above probability distributions and the associated entanglement, discussing their evolution under application of the field.  相似文献

研究了初态为X态时Tavis-Cummings模型中具有偶极相互作用两原子的纠缠演化特性,在演化过程中,同时号码出现了两原子的纠缠突然死亡(ESD)与突然产生(ESB)两种有趣的现象.详细分析了两原子初始态的纯度、偶极相互作用、光场粒子数对这两种现象出现时间的影响,进一步给出了初始为混态时ESB与ESD的转换条件.计算结果表明,上述系统参量对两原子的纠缠演化、ESB与ESD有重要的影响,偶极相互作用会改变纠缠度的振荡周期,使出现ESD的时间间隔减少;随着初始两原子纠缠纯度的增大,纠缠突然产生以及纠缠突然死亡存在的时间缩短,并且可以提高两原子之间的纠缠;对于特殊的初态,产生了纠缠不变性以及固定的两原子纠缠,该定值受两原子初始状态的纯度控制。  相似文献

The entanglement quantum properties of a spin-1/2 Ising-Heisenberg model on a symmetrical diamond chain were analyzed. Due to the separable nature of the Ising-type exchange interactions between neighboring Heisenberg dimers, calculation of the entanglement can be performed exactly for each individual dimer. Pairwise thermal entanglement was studied in terms of the isotropic Ising-Heisenberg model and analytical expressions for the concurrence (as a measure of bipartite entanglement) were obtained. The effects of external magnetic field H and next-nearest neighbor interaction J(m) between nodal Ising sites were considered. The ground state structure and entanglement properties of the system were studied in a wide range of coupling constant values. Various regimes with different values of ground state entanglement were revealed, depending on the relation between competing interaction strengths. Finally, some novel effects, such as the two-peak behavior of concurrence versus temperature and coexistence of phases with different values of magnetic entanglement, were observed.  相似文献

We investigate entanglement of spin pairs in alternating open spin chains (s = 1/2) with spin-spin interactions (SSI) in the thermodynamic equilibrium state in an external magnetic field. The reduced density matrix of an arbitrarily chosen spin pair was calculated. The entanglement of a spin pair was evaluated with the Wootters criterion. The temperature at which the entangled state arises in the chosen pair was determined. Entanglement (concurrence) is shown to oscillate as a function of the position of a spin pair in the chain. The results demonstrate the dependence of the entanglement in arbitrarily chosen pairs of neighboring spins on the temperature, the position of the spin pair in the chain, chain length, and the ratio between the SSI constants. Qualitative explanation of these dependences is offered. The role of the terminal spins in the generation of entanglement is explained.  相似文献

This paper investigates the thermal pairwise entanglement of a three-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain in the presence of the Dzyaloshinski--Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction and quantum teleportation when using the Heisenberg chain as a channel. The entanglement dependences on the DM interaction and temperature are given in detail. It obtains the relation between the concurrence and average fidelity, and shows that the same concurrence can lead different average fidelities. Moreover, it finds the thermally entangled states which do not violate the Bell inequalities, and can still be used for quantum teleportation.  相似文献

研究了存在内禀退相干时,对于不同的系统初态,具有DM相互作用和各向异性的三粒子XXZ海森伯模型的对纠缠动力学特性.得出了一些结论:系统的对纠缠度与各向异性参数?无关,但内禀退相干对系统的纠缠有明显的抑制作用;在内禀退相干存在时,若系统初态为纠缠态,选择合适的DM相互作用的参数,系统的对纠缠有一个非零的稳定值;系统初态为分离态时,系统的对纠缠会随时间震荡衰减,并且每次震荡会出现纠缠突然死亡现象,系统的对纠缠最终达到解纠缠状态.因此,选择合适的系统初态和DM相互作用参数可以有效地控制系统的对纠缠.  相似文献

We study special relativistic effects on the entanglement between either spins or momenta of composite quantum systems of two spin- \frac12\frac{1}{2} massive particles, either indistinguishable or distinguishable, in inertial reference frames in relative motion. For the case of indistinguishable particles, we consider a balanced scenario where the momenta of the pair are well-defined but not maximally entangled in the rest frame while the spins of the pair are described by a one-parameter (η) family of entangled bipartite states. For the case of distinguishable particles, we consider an unbalanced scenario where the momenta of the pair are well-defined and maximally entangled in the rest frame while the spins of the pair are described by a one-parameter (ξ) family of non-maximally entangled bipartite states. In both cases, we show that neither the spin-spin (ss) nor the momentum-momentum (mm) entanglements quantified by means of Wootters’ concurrence are Lorentz invariant quantities: the total amount of entanglement regarded as the sum of these entanglements is not the same in different inertial moving frames. In particular, for any value of the entangling parameters, both ss and mm-entanglements are attenuated by Lorentz transformations and their parametric rates of change with respect to the entanglements observed in a rest frame have the same monotonic behavior. However, for indistinguishable (distinguishable) particles, the change in entanglement for the momenta is (is not) the same as the change in entanglement for spins. As a consequence, in both cases, no entanglement compensation between spin and momentum degrees of freedom occurs.  相似文献

We present studies of thermal entanglement of a three-spin system in triangular symmetry. Spin correlations are described within an effective Heisenberg Hamiltonian, derived from the Hubbard Hamiltonian, with super-exchange couplings modulated by an effective electric field. Additionally a homogenous magnetic field is applied to completely break the degeneracy of the system. We show that entanglement is generated in the subspace of doublet states with different pairwise spin correlations for the ground and excited states. For the doublets with the same spin orientation one can observe nonmonotonic temperature dependence of entanglement due to competition between entanglement encoded in the ground state and the excited state. The mixing of the states with an opposite spin orientation or with quadruplets (unentangled states) always monotonically destroys entanglement. Pairwise entanglement is quantified using concurrence for which analytical formulae are derived in various thermal mixing scenarios. The electric field plays a specific role – it breaks the symmetry of the system and changes spin correlations. Rotating the electric field can create maximally entangled qubit pairs together with a separate spin (monogamy) that survives in a relatively wide temperature range providing robust pairwise entanglement generation at elevated temperatures.  相似文献

A dynamics of the entanglement under an environmental influence is modelled by a bound state composed of two heavy particles interacting with a strong laser. Adopting the semiclassical attitude, a trajectory of the bound state’s center-of-mass is found from the Newton equations solved beyond the dipole approximation and taking into account the magnetic field effect. At the same time the dynamics of constituent spins under the laser coupling is studied quantum mechanically solving the nonrelativistic von Neumann equation with the effective Hamiltonian determined by the bound state’s classical trajectory. Based on the solution, the effects of an intense linearly polarized monochromatic plane wave on the precession of entangled spins are discussed for a specific kind of mixed initial states including a family of maximally entangled Werner states. We consider isotropic spin-1/2 two-leg ladders with dominant spatially-modulated rung exchanges. We study the effect of a uniform magnetic field on the ground state phase diagram of the model using perturbation theory and the numerical Lanczos method. The ground state phase diagram consists of two gapless Luttinger liquid (LL) and three gapped phases. Numerically, we calculate the concurrence between two spins and the entanglement entropy between legs. Numerical experiment shows that the gapless LL phases are fundamentally different. In the first LL phase, only spins on rungs are entangled, but in the second LL phase the spins on legs are long-distance entangled. Therefore, the concurrence between spins on legs can be considered as a function to distinguish the LL phases.  相似文献

We use the quantum jump approach to study the entanglement dynamics of a quantum register, which is composed of two or three dipole-dipole coupled two-level atoms, interacting with a common environment. Our investigation of entanglement dynamics reflects that the environment has dual actions on the entanglement of the qubits in the model. While the environment destroys the entanglement induced by the coherent dipole-dipole interactions, it can produce stable entanglement between the qubits prepared initially in a separable state. The analysis shows that it is the entangled decoherence-free states contained as components in the initial state that contribute to the stable entanglement. Our study indicates how the environmental noise produces the entanglement and exposes the interplay of environmental noise and coherent interactions of qubits on the entanglement.  相似文献
