We consider the problem of reconstructing a function on the disk from its integrals over curves close to straight lines, i.e., the inversion problem for the generalized Radon transform. Necessary and sufficient conditions on the range of the generalized Radon transform are obtained for functions supported in a smaller disk under the additional condition that the curves that do not meet coincide with the corresponding straight lines.  相似文献

The Hough transform is a standard pattern recognition technique introduced between the 1960s and the 1970s for the detection of straight lines, circles, and ellipses with several applications including the detection of symmetries in images. Recently, based on algebraic geometry arguments, the procedure has been extended to the automated recognition of special classes of algebraic plane curves. This allows us to detect curves of symmetry present in images, that is, curves that recognize midpoints maps of various shapes extracted by an ad hoc symmetry algorithm, here proposed. Further, in the case of straight lines, the detection of lines of symmetry allows us, by a pre-processing step of the image, to improve the efficiency of the recognition algorithm on which the Hough transform technique is founded, without loss of generality and additional computational costs.  相似文献

The Radon transform $\mathcal{R}f$ of functions f on SO(3) has recently been applied extensively in texture analysis, i.e. the analysis of preferred crystallographic orientation. In practice one has to determine the orientation probability density function fL 2(SO(3)) from $\mathcal{R}f\in L_{2}(S^{2}\times S^{2})$ which is known only on a discrete set of points. Since one has only partial information about $\mathcal{R}f$ the inversion of the Radon transform becomes an ill-posed inverse problem. Motivated by this problem we define a new notion of the Radon transform $\mathcal{R}f$ of functions f on general compact Lie groups and introduce two approximate inversion algorithms which utilize our previously developed generalized variational splines on manifolds. Our new algorithms fit very well to the application of Radon transform on SO(3) to texture analysis.  相似文献

The Radon transform is the mathematical foundation of Computerized Tomography[1](CT).Its important applications includes medical CT,noninvasive test and etc.If one is specially interested in the places at which the image function changed largely such as the interfaces of two different tissues,tissue and ill tissue and the interfaces of two difierent matters,and want to reconstruct the outlines of the interfaces,one should reconstruct the singularities of the image function.The exact inversion of the Radon transform is valid only for smooth function[2].The singularity places of the reconstructed function should be studied specially.The research includes the propagation and inversion of singularity of the Radon transform.If one use convolutionbackprojection method to reconstruct the image function,the reconstructed function become blurring at the singularity places of the original function.M.Jiang and etc[3]developed a blind deconvolution method deblurring reconstructed image.By[4]and following research,we see that one can use a neighborhood data of the singularities of the Radon transform to inverse the singularity of the Radon transform,and therefore the reconstruction is available for some incomplete data reconstructions.  相似文献

The Fourier slice theorem for the standard Radon transform generalizes to a Laplace counterpart when considering the exponential Radon transform. We show how to use this fact in combination with algorithms for the unequally spaced fast Laplace transform to construct fast and accurate methods for computing both the forward exponential Radon transform and the corresponding back-projection operator.  相似文献

We prove that under certain conditions the inversion problem for the generalized Radon transform reduces to solving a Fredholm integral equation and we obtain the asymptotic expansion of the symbol of the integral operator in this equation. We consider applications of the generalized Radon transform to partial differential equations with variable coefficients and provide a solution to the inversion problem for the attenuated and exponential Radon transforms.  相似文献

The problem is considered of reconstructing a function in three-dimensional space from its integrals over a family of straight lines that are generators of cones, i.e., an inversion problem for the ray transform with incomplete data. This problem is connected with an auxiliary problem of analytic continuation and is strongly ill-posed. A uniqueness theorem and conditional stability estimates for a solution are obtained.  相似文献

This article presents extensions of the Cramér-Wold theorem to measures that may have infinite mass near the origin. Corresponding results for sequences of measures are presented together with examples showing that the assumptions imposed are sharp. The extensions build on a number of results and methods concerned with injectivity properties of the Radon transform. Using a few tools from distribution theory and Fourier analysis we show that the presented injectivity results for the Radon transform lead to Cramér-Wold type results for measures. One purpose of this article is to contribute to making known to probabilists interesting results for the Radon transform that have been developed essentially during the 1980s and 1990s.  相似文献

In this article, we suggest a new Fourier transform based algorithm for the reconstruction of functions from their nonstandard sampled Radon transform. The algorithm incorporates recently developed fast Fourier transforms for nonequispaced data. We estimate the corresponding aliasing error in dependence on the sampling geometry of the Radon transform and confirm our theoretical results by numerical examples.  相似文献

The present paper is concerned with an optimal control problem for then-dimensional diffusion equation with a sequence of Radon measures as generalized control variables. Suppose that a desired final state is not reachable. We enlarge the set of admissible controls and provide a solution to the corresponding moment problem for the diffusion equation, so that the previously chosen desired final state is actually reachable by the action of a generalized control. Then, we minimize an objective function in this extended space, which can be characterized as consisting of infinite sequences of Radon measures which satisfy some constraints. Then, we approximate the action of the optimal sequence by that of a control, and finally develop numerical methods to estimate these nearly optimal controls. Several numerical examples are presented to illustrate these ideas.  相似文献

Let K=[0,∞)×R be the Laguerre hypergroup which is the fundamental manifold of the radial function space for the Heisenberg group. In this note we give another characterization for a subspace of S(K) (Schwartz space) such that the Radon transform Rα on K is a bijection. We show that this characterization is equivalent to that in [M.M. Nessibi, K. Trimèche, Inversion of the Radon transform on the Laguerre hypergroup by using generalized wavelets, J. Math. Anal. Summary An optimal control problem is considered in a setting akin to that of the theory. of generalized curves. Rather than minimizing a functional depending on pairs of trajectories and controls subject to some constraints, a functional defined on a set of Radon measures is considered; the set of measures is determined by the constraints. An approximation scheme is developed, so that the solution of the optimal control problems can be effected by solving a sequence of nonlinear programming problems. Several existence theorems for this kind of generalized control problems are then proved; the most interesting is the one concerning problems in which the set of allowable controls is unbounded. We consider the Radon transform on the (flat) torus \mathbbTn = \mathbbRn/\mathbbZn{\mathbb{T}^{n} = \mathbb{R}^{n}/\mathbb{Z}^n} defined by integrating a function over all closed geodesics. A formula relating the Radon transform of functions of spherical symmetries to the Radon–Kipriyanov transform Kγ for a naturalmulti-index γ is given. For an arbitrary multi-index γ, formulas for the representation of the Kγ-transform of a radial function as fractional integrals of Erdelyi–Kober integral type and of Riemann–Liouville integral type are proved. The corresponding inversion formulas are obtained. These results are used to study the inversion of the Radon–Kipriyanov transform of the generalized (generated by a generalized shift) spherical mean values of functions that belong to a weighted Lebesgue space and are even with respect to each of the weight variables.  相似文献

In this paper, we first consider the framework of Sobolev spaces and derive analytically a reconstruction algorithm by means of the residue theorem of complex analysis, the approximate inverse, Gaussian mollifier and integral equations. And we successfully extend Natterer’s results to the generalized Radon transform with non-uniform attenuation. We prove a certain non-linear version of the Levi extension theorem for meromorphic functions. This means that the meromorphic function in question is supposed to be extendable along a sequence of complex curves, which are arbitrary, not necessarily straight lines. Moreover, these curves are not supposed to belong to any finite-dimensional analytic family. The conclusion of our theorem is that nevertheless the function in question meromorphically extends along an (infinite-dimensional) analytic family of complex curves and its domain of existence is a pinched domain filled in by this analytic family.  相似文献
