A scalar model is built, as a quantum field theory defined on a toroidal topology, to describe a phase transition in films subjected to periodic boundary conditions and influenced by an external and constant magnetic field. Criticality is studied and the relations between the critical temperature, the film thickness, the magnetic field strength and the chemical potential are investigated. Since the model describes a second-order phase transition a comparison with the Ginzburg–Landau theory is made.  相似文献

The engineering current density in YBCO coated conductor applications can be improved in two ways. Either the critical current density should be improved or the superconducting films made thicker. Unfortunately, it has often been observed that the average critical current density decreases when the thickness of films increases. Suggested reasons for this behaviour include e.g. two dimensional pinning properties, microcracks and imperfect crystallographic alignment. However, it is often forgotten that the self-field effect unavoidably reduces the critical current density when the thickness of YBCO films increases and thereby total current rises. In this paper, the influence of self-field on the average critical current density is studied computationally as a function of film thickness. The situation is also scrutinized at different external magnetic fields in order to find ways to distinguish self-field effects from problems related to the manufacturing process. For this purpose, critical current measurements in external field perpendicular to the film surface are proposed.  相似文献

利用射频磁控溅射法制备了铝掺杂氧化锌(AZO)透明导电薄膜,在传统的磁控溅射系统中引入外加磁场,研究了外加磁场对AZO薄膜沉积速率、形貌结构及光电特性的影响.研究结果表明,外加磁场后薄膜的沉积速率从不加磁场的13.04 nm/min提高到了19.93 nm/min;外加磁场后薄膜表面平整致密、颗粒大小均匀,结晶质量较高,而不加磁场薄膜表面形貌呈蠕虫状,薄膜质量较差.溅射时间为90 min时,外加磁场前后AZO薄膜方阻分别为30.74?/和12.88?/.外加磁场对薄膜可见光透过率影响不大,但使薄膜的吸收边蓝移现象更明显.运用ansys软件对磁控溅射二维磁场分布模拟后发现,外加磁场提高了靶上方横向磁场强度,改善了磁场分布的均匀性,加强了磁场对电子的磁控作用,提高了靶电流,是AZO薄膜的溅射速率、光电性能和形貌结构得到提高和优化的原因.  相似文献

通过建立具有平面近横向各向异性场的非晶态合金薄带及膜的磁畴结构模型,利用线性化Maxwell方程组及Landau-Lifshitz方程,推出了在高频交变磁场及外加面内轴向直流磁场Hex作用下的铁磁材料的与取向相关的磁导率表达式,得到了对方位角平均的相对磁导率及阻抗的计算式,导出了磁导率与张量磁化率分量间的关系,对材料磁导率的实部及虚部随Hex的变化进行了计算,并给出了对应的磁谱图.建立的磁导率与外磁场的理论关系可将Panina及Kraus给出的理论结果统一起来. 关键词: 非晶态合金薄带及膜 取向相关磁导率 GMI效应理论与计算 近横向各向异性场  相似文献

Equations that simulate the magnetic induction and current density distributions in half-space in view of the power I-V characteristic are derived. The magnetization front velocity is determined for a given mean rate of external magnetic field variation at the boundary of the sample. An integral condition for the electrical resistance (nonlinearly depending on the magnetic field) under which the magnetic flux penetrates into the sample with a finite rate is found. An analytical solution that simulates the power variation of the magnetic field at the boundary is given. The Bean generalized model describing the current density distribution near the critical current is considered. It is shown that solutions like shock waves may arise beyond the applicability domain of the Bean model.  相似文献

An investigations is made of the steady-state structure of a plasma inhomogeneity arising as a result of high-frequency heating and additional ionization of a background magnetized plasma by the near-zone field of a magnetic-type source (ring electric current). It is assumed that the source axis is parallel to an external magnetic field; the source frequency belongs in the low hybrid band. The main attention is focused on the particular case (important for possible applications) when the characteristic longitudinal and transverse scales of density distribution considerably exceed the corresponding scales of distribution of the electron temperature and of the source field. Simplified equations for the near-zone field of the source, the electron temperature, and the plasma density are written for this particular case. Based on the numerical solution of these equations, steady-state distributions of plasma parameters in the formed plasma inhomogeneity are found. It is demonstrated that a plasma inhomogeneity proves to be markedly extended along the external magnetic field. It is found that, for the values of the source current that are attainable under the conditions of active ionospheric and model laboratory experiments, the maximum plasma density in a nonuniform plasma may appreciably exceed the background value.  相似文献

Conditions for current instabilities that arise in high-temperature superconducting composites with essentially nonlinear dependences of the critical current densities and resistivity on the temperature and magnetic induction have been studied. The analysis has been conducted in terms of zero-dimensional models, which has made it possible to formulate general physical mechanisms behind the formation of currents states in superconducting composites according to the external magnetic field induction, cooling conditions, and the properties of the superconductor and cladding. The possible existence of current and temperature stable steps, as well as stable steps of the electric field strength, in the absence of the superconducting–normal transition, has been demonstrated. Reasons for instabilities under multistable current states have been discussed.  相似文献

In this Letter we research the space charge limiting current value at which the oscillating virtual cathode is formed in the relativistic electron beam as a function of the external magnetic field guiding the beam electrons. It is shown that the space charge limiting (critical) current decreases with growth of the external magnetic field, and that there is an optimal induction value of the magnetic field at which the critical current for the onset of virtual cathode oscillations in the electron beam is minimum. For the strong external magnetic field the space charge limiting current corresponds to the analytical relation derived under the assumption that the motion of the electron beam is one-dimensional [D.J. Sullivan, J.E. Walsh, E. Coutsias, in: V.L. Granatstein, I. Alexeff (Eds.), Virtual Cathode Oscillator (Vircator) Theory, in: High Power Microwave Sources, vol. 13, Artech House Microwave Library, 1987, Chapter 13]. Such behavior is explained by the characteristic features of the dynamics of electron space charge in the longitudinal and radial directions in the drift space at the different external magnetic fields.  相似文献

A strategy is investigated to overcome the decoherence for open quantum system by controlling external parameters. The results show that output state may be a pure state in some critical magnetic field parameters which depend on the decay rates so that one may perfectly preserve memory of initial single-qubit states at the finial state under some conditions. The way is applied to two-level atomic systems interacting with squeezed vacuum reservoir.  相似文献

A computational model which enables to evaluate the distribution of the critical currents, electric fields and the voltage in the winding of a solenoidal high temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets subjected to an external magnetic field parallel with the magnet axis, was developed. The model comes out from the well-known power law between the electric field and the transport current of the HTS tape short sample. It allows to predict the voltage–current V(I) characteristics of both the pancake coils and the complete magnet. The model was applied to the magnet system consisting of 22 pancake coils made of multifilamentary Bi(2223)/Ag tape at 20 K, which is subjected to an external uniform magnetic field parallel with the coil axis. A rather unexpected behavior of the magnet at different operating conditions (operating current and external magnetic field strength) is predicted, analyzed and reported together with a theoretical explanation. On one hand, the external uniform magnetic field parallel with the coil axis increases the resulting magnetic field strength, however, on the other hand it simultaneously decreases the angle between the resulting magnetic field and the tape surface. Thus, the effect of higher magnetic loading caused by the presence of an external magnetic field strength which is acting on individual turns located close to the coil’s flanges is compensated by more favorable orientation of the tape with respect to the resulting magnetic field. As a result, increase in the critical currents of these turns is expected. Further, the results indicate, that in case of the high field HTS insert coils the anisotropy in the Ic(B) characteristic does not play a substantial role. As a consequence, the technology of the production of the tapes for high field insert HTS coils should concentrate rather on the tapes having the current carrying capacity as high as possible, than on the attempt how to decrease the anisotropy in the Ic(B) by changing the architecture of the filaments in the tape.  相似文献

临界电流密度Jc是超导薄膜的一个重要参量,它可以衡量超导薄膜的功率承载能力。大面积高温超导薄膜制成后,其Jc需要被无损精确测量。文中提出了一种新的交流磁场下的高温超导薄膜临界态模型:(1)基于此模型对薄膜的临界电流密度进行了精确无损测量;(2)并将实验测量的三次谐波电压曲线进行拟合研究。首先,根据麦克斯韦方程和伦敦方程,计算外加直流磁场超导薄膜Meissner态下电流和磁场在薄膜内的分布;然后分析薄膜进入临界态后内部电流的变化,在考虑顶扎力作用的情况下,提出了临界态电流和磁场非均匀分布模型;最后根据其模型,推导出三次谐波电压的表达式。为了验证该理论,分别对四片超导薄膜在不同频率下进行了三次谐波和临界电流密度测量。实验结果表明:三次谐波电压的理论与实验曲线一致;与四点传输法的测量结果相比较,该方法测量超导薄膜临界电流密度的误差在5%左右,具有高精度、无损伤、方便快捷等优点。  相似文献

We measured the transport properties of MgB2 films having columnar grain structure with their axis normal to the substrate. When an external magnetic field was applied parallel to the grain axis, an enhanced critical current density has been observed, and this result has been ascribed to flux pinning induced by grain boundaries. The shape of the angular dependence of critical current density and its magnetic field dependence showed a quite similar resemblance to those of YBa2Cu3Ox films containing columnar defects, implying a possible existence of linear defects in MgB2 films of columnar structure. We propose that the amorphous regions at the vertex points of three or more grain boundaries observed in microstructural studies correspond to the linear defects and these linear defects anchor the end points of the flux line dislocations of Frank-Read sources, by which the shear in the flux line lattice is actuated. This assumed mechanism is found to reasonably explain the magnetic field dependence of the flux pinning force density of MgB2 films with columnar grain structure.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the off-diagonal geometric phase of the thermal state of a two-qubit system under the external magnetic field. The properties of geometric phases of the state in critical and non-critical regions are discussed respectively. The sudden change of structure of degeneracy at the critical point do not affect the geometric phase of the model. Increasing temperature tends to suppress the off-diagonal geometric phase. The relationship between the geometric phase and external magnetic field is also discussed.  相似文献

Some results of AC loss measurements are presented for 19, 61, 127-filamentary Bi-2223/Ag tapes prepared by the ‘powder-in-tube' method. All measurements have been made at T=77 K under sinusoidal transport current with frequency in the range of 30–600 Hz and the current amplitude up to 30 A. The measurements have been carried out both in self field conditions and at the external magnetic field applied to the tape at the different angles. The dependencies of the AC losses on current amplitude and frequency have been obtained. It is found that for all tapes the current amplitude dependencies of the AC losses show good agreement with the Norris prediction for an elliptical or strip geometry. The AC loss dependencies on frequency were linear. The measurements of AC losses in external magnetic field show that the change of AC losses is only through the change of the critical current. So the transport AC losses in the tapes are the ‘saturation losses' that is they are different from classic hysteresis losses.  相似文献

 采用全电磁PIC粒子模拟方法研究了磁场对球头阴极二极管物理特性的影响。结果表明外加磁场主要是通过对二极管束流轨迹的改变来影响二极管的物理特性。由于外加磁场将约束其产生电子束的发散,结果使其空间电荷限制电流减小,其值在无外加磁场并且自磁场可以忽略时的空间电荷限制电流值的0.5~1倍范围内。当外加磁场足够强时,束流轨迹主要受外加磁场控制,二极管产生的电子束既不箍缩也不发散。强外加磁场条件下的空间电荷限制电流近似为无外加磁场时的一半;在无外加磁场条件下,在阳极处的束流半径随二极管电压电流的增大而减小,空间电荷限制电流增强因子随束流半径的减小而减小,随二极管电压电流增大而减小。这一系列结果是在二极管电流小于其自箍缩临界电流条件下得到的。  相似文献

This paper reports on the results of a theoretical investigation into the magnetic and resonance properties of thin films in the range of the transition from a paramagnetic state to a ferromagnetic state in the case where the magnetic transition is a first-order phase transformation. It is demonstrated that, in an external magnetic field directed perpendicular to the film plane, the formation of a specific domain structure consisting of domains of the coexisting paramagnetic and ferromagnetic phases can appear to be energetically favorable. The parameters of the equilibrium system of stripe phase domains and their dependences on the temperature, the magnetic field, and the characteristics of the material are calculated. The specific features of the magnetic resonance spectra under the conditions of formed stripe phase domains are considered. A relationship is derived for the dependence of the resonance field of the system of ferromagnetic domains on the magnetization and temperature. It is shown that the alternating external field can fulfill an orientation function in the formation of stripe phase domains.  相似文献

The dynamic response of a system being near the stable equilibrium boundary to an external magnetic field pulse is studied for 2D lattices of magnetic nanoparticles with cubic crystallographic anisotropy. The conditions under which magnetic moment oscillations from individual dipoles propagate to the entire system are revealed. This effect results in the lattice response are significantly larger in the external pulse duration and with an amplitude rather weakly depending on initial conditions and external field parameters, the processes during which the pulse results in reorientation of only individual lattice dipoles.  相似文献

The Maryland model is a critical theoretical model in quantum chaos. This model describes the motion of a spin-1/2 particle on a one-dimensional lattice under the periodical disturbance of the external delta-function-like magnetic field. In this work, we propose the linearly delayed quantum relativistic Maryland model (LDQRMM) as a novel generalization of the original Maryland model and systematically study its physical properties. We derive the resonance and antiresonance conditions for the angular momentum spread. The "characteristic sum" is introduced in this paper as a new measure to quantify the sensitivity between the angular momentum spread and the model parameters. In addition, different topological patterns emerge in the LDQRMM. It predicts some additions to the Anderson localization in the corresponding tight-binding systems. Our theoretical results could be verified experimentally by studying cold atoms in optical lattices disturbed by a linearly delayed magnetic field.  相似文献
