Corrole complexes with gold(I) and gold(III) were synthesized and their structural, photophysical, and electrochemical properties investigated. This work includes the X-ray crystallography characterization of gold(I) and gold(III) complexes, both chelated by a corrole with fully brominated β-pyrrole carbon atoms. The mononuclear and chiral gold(I) corrole appears to be the first of its kind within the porphyrinoid family, while the most unique property of the gold(III) corrole is that it displays phosphorescence at ambient temperatures.  相似文献

Although known for almost 35 years , N-substituted corroles have only now been recognized as being chiral. Several examples of these species were prepared in a facile two-step synthesis and separated into their enantiomers by HPLC. Three corrole dimers were obtained by heating a 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene solution of 5,10,15-tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole at 200 °C. The corrole units are linked by the β,β′-positions. In one of these dimers the corrole units are linked by the 2,2′,18,18′ carbons, giving rise to an eight-membered ring.  相似文献

In the present work we report on the detailed structural features of the chiral N21- and N22-substituted benzyl and picolyl derivatives of tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole [H3(tpfc)]. The main difference between the isomers is that substitution on N22 creates a much more crowded environment, reflected in higher deformation of the corrole ring from planarity and of the meso-aryls from perpendicular orientation. The effects of metal-ion chelation on corrole geometry are demonstrated by structural investigations of the zinc(II) and rhodium(I) complexes of the N21- and N22-alkylated corroles. The major finding is the intramolecular coordination of the pyridine moiety of the picolyl substituent in the case of [ZnII(N21-picolyl-tpfc)]. This pyridine is readily attracted to the zinc ion as an axial ligand, thus replacing the external pyridine molecule of the precursor [ZnII(N21-benzyl-tpfc)(py)]. The change is associated with a considerable flattening of the corrole ring in order to allow a more convenient coordination of the zinc ion to all four pyrrole nitrogen atoms (at Zn-N(pyr-role) distances of 1.956-1.987 A for the nonsubstituted sites, and 2.224-2.247 A for the substituted sites). These structural investigations also aid a good understanding of the spectroscopic characteristics of the derivatives.  相似文献

A couple of corrole–perylene carboximide dyads ( C2‐PIa and C2‐PIx ) have been synthesized and their photoreactivity has been evaluated. We aimed at obtaining better performances for photoinduced charge separation, both in terms of efficiency and in terms of lifetime, with respect to formerly studied systems. The energy level of the charge‐separated state was tuned by selecting perylene and corrole components with diverse redox and spectroscopic properties. High spectroscopic energy levels of the perylene carboximide derivatives (PIs) allow a fast charge separation to be maintained in competition with an energy‐transfer process from the PI to the corrole unit. Yields and lifetimes of charge separation in toluene are, respectively, 75 % and 2.5 μs for C2‐PIa and 65 % and 24 ns for C2‐PIx . The results and the effect of solvent polarity are discussed in the framework of current energy‐ and electron‐transfer theories.  相似文献

The reaction of 5,10,15‐trimesitylcorrole (H3cor) with tungsten hexachloride and tungsten hexacarbonyl resulted in the unexpected formation of the 3,17‐dichloro‐5,10,15‐trimesitylcorrole radical (H2cor*) as an air‐stable product. X‐ray crystallography proved the planarization of the corrole radical structure, which was rationalized by the reduced steric hindrance of two versus three hydrogen atoms inside the N4 cavity. Although the aromaticity was lost, no specific changes in C C or C N bond distances could be observed. The regioselectivity of the two‐fold chlorination is the result of the nucleophilic attack of chloride ions to an oxidized corrole macrocycle, and is supported by DFT results. The corrole radical acts as a dianionic ligand and allows the insertion of the divalent zinc(II) cation, which usually does not form neutral corrole complexes.  相似文献

The bichromophoric systems C2-PI, C3-PI, and C3-PPI consisting of corrole and perylene bisimide units and representing one of the rare cases of elaborate structures based on corrole, have been synthesized. Corroles C2 and C3 are, respectively, meso-substituted corroles with 2,6-dichlorophenyl and pentafluorophenyl substituents at the 5 and 15 positions. The three dyads were prepared by divergent strategy with the corrole-forming reaction as the last step of the sequence. C2-PI and C3-PI differ in the nature of the corroles, whereas C3-PI differs from C3-PPI in the presence of a further phenyl unit in the linker between photoactive units. The dyads display spectroscopic properties which are the superposition of the component spectra, indicating a very weak electronic coupling. Excitation of the corrole unit leads to charge separation with a rate which decreases from 2.4 x 10(10), to 5.0 x 10(9), and to 4.9 x 10(7) s(-1) for C2-PI, C3-PI, and C3-PPI, respectively, where the reaction is characterized by a delta G degrees >0. Excitation of the perylene bisimide unit is followed by competing reactions of: 1) energy transfer to the corrole unit, which subsequently deactivates to the charge-separated state and; 2) electron transfer to directly form the charge-separated state. The ratio of electron-to-energy-transfer rates is 9:1 and 1:1 for C3-PI and C3-PPI, respectively. The yield of charge separation is essentially 100 % for C2-PI and C3-PI, and approximately 50 % (excitation of peryleneimide) or 15 % (excitation of the corrole) for C3-PPI. The lifetime of the charge-separated state, observed for the first time in corrole-based structures, is 540 ps for C2-PI, 2.5 ns for C3-PI, and 24 ns for C3-PPI, respectively. This is in agreement with an inverted behavior, according to Marcus theory.  相似文献

采用密度泛函(DFT)方法对八个中位有不同取代基的A3型corrole进行了几何结构优化和核磁共振(NMR)理论计算. 几何优化结果显示5,10,15-三苯基corrole的两个环内NH异构体的中位苯环空间排布方向不同. 此外, 虽然A3型corrole两个环内NH异构体A和B的能量相差不大, 但A和B分子的Boltzman分布概率却有较大的不同, 且受取代基影响很大. 因而在计算NMR时必须对A和B异构体的理论化学位移做Boltzman统计平均处理. NMR计算结果表明, 在B3LYP/6-311+G(2d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)水平下可以得到较为合理的corrole的1H-NMR化学位移结果. β-位氢的化学位移与取代基Hammett常数σ+P的大小成正比关系. 此外, 由于corrole大环的低对称性, 取代基对不同位置β-位氢的NMR影响程度不同, 其β-位氢化学位移的大小和顺序与中位取代基的电子效应和corrole的立体结构因素有关.  相似文献

A chiral Brønsted base catalyzed asymmetric annulation of ortho‐alkynylanilines has been developed to access axially chiral naphthyl‐C2‐indoles via vinylidene ortho‐quinone methide (VQM) intermediates. This strategy provides a unique organocatalytic atroposelective route to axially chiral aryl‐C2‐indole skeletons with excellent enantioselectivity and functional‐group tolerance. This transformation was applicable to decagram‐scale preparation (50.0 g) with perfect enantioselectivity through simple recrystallization. Moreover, the utility of this reaction was demonstrated by a variety of transformations towards chiral naphthyl‐C2‐indoles for a series of carbon–heteroatom bond formations. Furthermore, the prepared axially chiral naphthyl‐C2‐indoles were applied as a chiral skeleton for organocatalytic aza‐Baylis–Hillman reaction and asymmetric formal [4+2] tandem cyclization to give the corresponding adducts in high yields with improved enantioselectivity and diastereoselectivity.  相似文献

A singly linked corrole dimer was synthesized by condensation of a dipyrromethane‐1‐carbinol with 1,1,2,2‐tetrapyrroethane. Oxidation of the dimer gave doubly linked corrole dimers 9 and 10 as the first examples of fused corrole dimers involving a meso–meso linkage. Dimers 9 and 10 exhibit characteristic 1H NMR spectra, absorption spectra, excited‐state dynamics, and two‐photon absorption (TPA) values, which indicate the nonaromatic nature of 9 and the aromatic nature of 10 . Interestingly, 9 is fairly stable despite its unusual 2H‐corrole structure, which has been ascribed to the presence of two direct connections between the individual corrole units.  相似文献

A chiral aluminum complex controlled, enantioselective nickel‐catalyzed domino reaction of aryl nitriles and alkynes proceeding by C?CN bond activation was developed. The reaction provides various indenes, bearing chiral all‐carbon quaternary centers, under mild reaction conditions in yields of 32 to 91 % and ee values within the 73–98 % range. The reaction mechanism and aspects of stereocontrol were investigated by DFT calculations.  相似文献

The syntheses of two side chain liquid crystal polymers, a polyacrylate and a polymethacrylate, are reported. In each of the polymers the liquid-crystalline side group carries an asymmetric carbon atom, thereby making some of the liquid crystal phases formed by the polymers optically active and chiral. For the chiral polyacrylate smectic A and chiral ferroelectric smectic C phases are observed, however for the chiral polymethacrylate a cholesteric phase is detected above the smectic A phase. It is found that the smectic A to cholesteric phase transition is mediated by the formation of an intermediary twisted smectic A phase. This intermediary phase is a liquid-crystalline analogue of the Abrikosov flux phase found in Type II superconductors.  相似文献

Corroles are versatile chemically active agents in solution. Expanding their applications toward surface-supported systems requires a fundamental knowledge of corrole-surface interactions. We employed the tip of a low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope as local probe to investigate at the single-molecule level the electronic and geometric properties of surface-supported free-base corrole molecules. To provide a suitable reference for other corrole-based systems on surfaces, we chose the archetypal 5,10,15-tris(pentafluorophenyl)corrole [H(3)(TpFPC)] as model system, weakly adsorbed on two surfaces with different interaction strengths. We demonstrate the nondissociative adsorption of H(3)(TpFPC) on pristine Au(111) and on an intermediate organic layer that provides sufficient electronic decoupling to investigate geometric and frontier orbital electronic properties of almost undisturbed H(3)(TpFPC) molecules at the submolecular level. We identify a deviating adsorption behavior of H(3)(TpFPC) compared to structurally similar porphyrins, characterized by a chiral pair of molecule-substrate configurations.  相似文献

Three new phenothiazine-corrole dyads were prepared by the reaction of phenothiazine-10-carbonyl chloride and mono-hydroxyl triaryl corrole in the presence of DBU. As compared to corrole monomer, these phenothiazine-corrole dyads exhibit significant enhanced DNA photocleavage activity as compared to corrole monomer precursors.  相似文献

Three kinds of fused porphyrinoids, L2 – L4 , possessing different types of corrole‐based frameworks were synthesized from a pyrrole‐substituted corrole isomer (norrole L1 ). Oxidation of L1 afforded a unique N‐Cmeso‐fused pyrrolyl isonorrole L2 , involving the fusion of an auxiliary pyrrolic NH moiety with a meso‐sp3‐hybridized carbon atom. Subsequently, L2 underwent macrocycle transformations to give singly and doubly N‐CAr‐fused N‐confused corroles, L3 and L4 , respectively. L3 and L4 contain fused [5.7.6.5]‐tetra‐ and [5.6.7.7.6.5]‐hexacyclic structures, respectively, prepared through lateral annulation. These skeletal transformation reactions from norrole to its isomer isonorrole and finally to N‐confused corrole indicate that multiply fused porphyrinoids could be readily synthesized from pyrrole‐appended confused porphyrinoids.  相似文献

The oxidation of 10–10′ singly linked corrole dimers with DDQ at low concentration in CHCl3 afforded meso–meso, β–β, β–β triply linked 2H‐corrole dimers (with two inner NH groups in each corrole unit), which exhibited characteristic 1H NMR and absorption spectra attributable to their nonaromatic electronic networks. These 2H‐corrole dimers were reduced with NaBH4 to aromatic 3H‐corrole dimers, which were unstable and easily oxidized back to the 2H‐corrole dimers upon exposure to air. Bis(zinc(II)) complexes of the 2H‐corrole dimers were synthesized and characterized as rare examples of nonaromatic zinc(II) corrole complexes.  相似文献
