采用传统固相反应法制备钙钛矿型锰氧化物 (La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7多晶样品, X-射线衍射分析表明, 样品(La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7结构呈现良好的单相. 通过磁化强度随温度的变化曲线(M-T)、不同温度下磁化强度随磁场的变化曲线(M-H)和电子自旋共振谱发现: 在300 K以下, 随着温度的降低, 样品先后经历了二维短程铁磁有序转变 (TC2D ≈ 282 K)、三维长程铁磁有序转变(TC3D ≈ 259 K)、奈尔转变(TN ≈ 208K)和电荷有序转变(TCO ≈ 35 K); 样品 (La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7TN以下, 主要处于反铁磁态; 在TC3D达到370 K时, 样品处于铁磁-顺磁共存态, 在370 K以上时样品进入顺磁态. 此外, 分析电阻率随温度的变化曲线(ρ-T)得到: 样品在金属-绝缘转变温度(TP ≈ 80 K)附近出现最大磁电阻值, 其位置远离TC3D, 表现出非本征磁电阻现象, 其磁电阻值约为61%. 在TCO以下, 电阻率出现明显增长, 这是由于温度下降使原本在高温部分巡游的eg电子开始自发局域化增强所致. 通过对 (La0.8Eu0.2)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7ρ-T 曲线拟合, 发现样品在高温部分的导电方式基本遵循小极化子的导电方式. 关键词: 磁性 电性 金属-绝缘转变温度 电子自旋共振  相似文献

The magnetic state of La0.70Sr0.30MnOx (x=2.85, 2.80) anion-deficient manganites is studied experimentally under hydrostatic pressure up to 5.2 GPa. These materials possessing the properties of a spin-glass state. The La0.70Sr0.30MnO2.85 exhibits a coexistence of the rhombohedral (R3¯c) and tetragonal (I4/mcm) crystal structures and below Tf 50 K the spin-glass state is formed. The La0.70Sr0.30MnO2.80 exhibits the tetragonal (I4/mcm) crystal structure. For this compound a phase-separated magnetic state below Tf is formed, involving coexistence of C-type antiferromagnetic (AFM) clusters within spin-glass matrix. In both compounds the crystal structure and magnetic states remain stable upon compression. Under the hydrostatic pressure up to 1 GPa, the La0.70Sr0.30MnO2.85 is a spin glass with a smeared phase transition to the paramagnetic state. The freezing temperature Tf of the magnetic moments of the ferromagnetic clusters increases at a rate of 4.30 K/GPa and the magnetic ordering temperature TMO increases at a rate of 12.90 K/GPa. The enhancement of the ferromagnetic properties of La0.70Sr0.30MnO2.85 anion-deficient manganite under hydrostatic pressure is explained by the redistribution of oxygen vacancies and a decrease in the unit cell parameters.  相似文献

The substitutional effect of Ru on the magnetic and transport properties of double exchange ferromagnets, La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 and La0.5Sr0.5CoO3 has been investigated. It is found that substitution of 10% Ru at the Mn site of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 decreases the Curie temperature by 20 K than that of the parent compound. However, a large decrease in the Curie temperature, ΔTc80 K and the system undergoes a transition from metallic state to insulating state is observed when 10% Ru is doped in La0.5Sr0.5CoO3. The marginal effect of Ru in the Mn–O–Mn sublattice in comparison to the Co–O–Co sublattice could be due to the magnetic exchange interaction between Mn and Ru by virtue of the fact that Ru exhibits variable valence states, Ru+4/Ru+5. The eg and t2g parentage of Ru+5 is similar to Mn+4 and therefore, Ru+5 ion appears to participate in the double exchange mediated ferromagnetic (FM) interaction. On the other hand, Ruthenium (IV) ion disrupts an intermediate spin state of cobalt (Co+3: t2g5eg1), forcing a double exchange FM state to anti-FM state.  相似文献

Polycrystalline perovskite La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 was synthesized by a sol–gel method. Its adiabatic temperature change ΔTad induced by a magnetic field change was measured directly. At 268 K, near its Curie temperature TC, ΔTad of La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 induced by a magnetic field change of 2.02 T reaches 2.4 K. The latent heat Q and magnetic entropy change −ΔSM induced by a magnetic field change were calculated from the temperature dependence of ΔTad and zero-field heat capacity Cp. The maximum values of Q and −ΔSM in La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 induced by a magnetic field change of 2.02 T are 1.85 J g−1 and 6.9 J kg−1 K−1, respectively. The former is larger than the phase transition latent heat of heating or cooling, which is about 1.70 J g−1.  相似文献

We have investigated the effect of Hg addition on the superconducting properties of BiSrCaCuO system. Polycrystalline samples with nominal composition Bi2Sr2−xHgxCa1Cu2Oy and Bi2Sr2−xHgxCa2Cu3Oy (x=0.3) were synthesized and used to investigate the phase evolution by XRD, superconducting behaviour by RT measurement and the structural grain boundary effects by SEM. From these measurements, it has been noticed that the phases obtained with both types of compositions are the same as Bi2212 but the Tc values are different. With additional annealing, Tc zero values were raised from 60 to 72 K in Bi2Sr2−xHgxCa1Cu2Oy and 64 to 92 K in Bi2Sr2−xHgxCa2Cu3Oy. Also, an improved grain boundary linkage has been observed by SEM for the 92 K sample.  相似文献

在温度1273 K、压强9 GPa条件下对固相烧结Nd0.7Sr0.3MnO3陶瓷样品进行热压处理. 结果发现, 处理后样品的晶体结构和空间群没有改变, 但晶胞参数和结构参数, 特别是样品的显微结构发生了很大变化. 这些变化对样品的磁电输运产生显著影响: 在磁性上, 热压样品的低温饱和磁矩减小并出现磁矩排列弥散特点; 在电输运方面, 当负载电流小于1.5 mA时, 与烧结样品一样, 热压样品不产生电致电阻 (ER) 效应, 并在金属-绝缘体转变点出现最大磁电阻 (MR). 但在低温下, 热压样品仍有较大MR值. 当负载电流超过1.5 mA时, 热压样品原R-T曲线中的电阻峰替变为一电阻平台, 且随负载电流增大, 平台逐渐宽化, 阻值减小, 出现ER行为. 有趣的是, 在外磁场作用下, 电阻平台随外场增大逐渐变窄、消失并又演变为一电阻峰. 这些奇特的输运行为除与热压处理导致样品晶粒绝缘化有关外, 可能还与热压导致粒间相的形成有关.  相似文献

The structural and magnetic behavior of the perovskite insulator La0.9Ca0.1MnO3 were studied as a function of temperature from 15 to 300 K by neutron powder diffraction. Although this compound shows an anomalous response of the lattice parameters around Tc (150 K), the behavior of the oxygen/manganese Debye-Waller factors is in clear contrast to its “colossal magnetoresistance” (CMR) counterpart La0.65Ca0.35MnO3. We speculate that the difference is intimately associated with the metal-insulator transition in the latter compound.  相似文献

The crystal structure including the cation distribution, of a polycrystalline sample of nominal composition Tl0.5Pb0.5Sr2Ca2Cu3O9 with Tc = 118.2 K has been determined using resonant synchrotron X-ray diffraction data collected at the Cu K, Tl LIII and Sr K edges and time-of-flight powder neutron diffraction data. No oxygen deficiency was observed, but cation disorder at all the non copper sites according to the formula (Tl0.60Pb0.40)(Sr1.60Ca0.40)(Ca1.93Tl0.07) Cu3O9 gives a mean hole concentration of 0.18(1) per Cu atom for the three CuO2 planes, consistent with the high Tc for this material. Analysis of five time-of-flight powder neutron diffraction data between 80 and 150 K have revealed a possible discontinuity in the variation of the c lattice parameter at Tc, due to an anomaly in the position of the apical oxygen atoms.  相似文献

We have measured the resistivities of Al2O3-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy and MgO-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy composites with the nominal Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy volume fraction, 2212, ranging from 0.15 to 1.00. For the Al2O3-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu 2Oy composites, we find for the samples with 2212≥0.6 that the superconducting transition temperature, Tc, is not disturbed by the addition of Al2O3. For 2212<0.3, no zero-resistivity state is observed. For the MgO-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy composites, Tc is barely disturbed for the samples with ρ2212≥0.7. No superconducting state is observed for the samples with ρ2212<0.35. The variation of (300 K) with ρ2212 indicates a three-dimensional percolating Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O matrix occurring at ρ2212≈0.19 and ≈0.15 in Al2O3-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2 Cu2Oy and MgO-Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy, respectively. Both resistivity and magnetization measurements suggest that the reactions of Bi2Sr1.8Ca1.2Cu2Oy with MgO are weaker than with Al2O3.  相似文献

While YSr2Cu3O7 cannot be prepared under ambient conditions, partial substitution of the phosphate group for copper, as in YSr2Cu2.8(PO4)0.2Oy, stabilizes this phase in the orthorhombic structure, but the material is not superconducting. Superconductivity in YSr2Cu2.8(PO4)0.2Oy is obtained by increasing the hole concentration through partial substitution of Y by Ca, as in Y0.7Ca0.3Sr2Cu2.8(PO4)0.2Oy (Tc≈40 K). By incorporating the phosphate group in orthorhombic YBaSrCu3O 7, a stable tetragonal derivative of the formula YBaSrCu2.8(PO4)0.2Oy (Tc≈ 47 K) has been prepared; the Tc increases to 70 K by partial substitution of Y by Ca as in Y0.7Ca0.3BaSrCu2.8(PO4)0.2Oy.  相似文献

The effects of Yb addition on the phase evolution and superconducting properties of (Bi,Pb)-2212 superconductor prepared by solid state synthesis in the polycrystalline form were studied. Yb content of the samples was varied (x = 0–0.5) on a general stoichiometry of Bi1.7Pb0.4Sr2.0Ca1.1Cu2.1YbxOy. Phase analysis by XRD, microstructural examination by SEM, measurements of density and superconducting properties were done to evaluate the relative performance of the samples. A Yb containing secondary phase could be distinguished from XRD analysis from Yb > 0.3 in the stoichiometric level. Microstructural examination showed clear and distinct morphological variation with Yb stoichiometry and a secondary phase with round edged grains was observed in the microstructure of Yb added samples. The critical current density (JC) and superconducting transition temperature (TC) of all the Yb added samples were found to be higher than that of the pure sample. A maximum TC-onset of 94.5 K and a maximum JC 688 A/cm2 has been observed for the sample with Yb = 0.2 in the stoichiometric level. Above this level TC and JC began to reduce, may be due to secondary phase formation.  相似文献

Magnetotransport data measured in thin films of La0.55Ho0.15Sr0.3MnO3 down to very low temperatures (0.25 K) are reported. The samples presented colossal magnetoresistance with a TC close to 200 K. A minimum in the resistance vs. T curve and a drop in the ZFC magnetization were also observed. It was also found a T-dependent relaxation effect after the magnetic field was either applied or removed. These results can be understood within the framework where electronic scattering occurs across magnetic domain walls in a reentrant spin-glassy-like phase.  相似文献

We have studied the transport and magnetic properties of strongly textured metal/insulator La1−xSrxMnO3 (x=0.4,0.1) bilayers and trilayers, grown by DC magnetron sputtering over MgO and SrTiO3 substrates. The multilayers present transport properties similar to those of the La0.6Sr0.4MnO3 films, being very sensitive to deposition conditions. Magnetic multilayers show a metal–insulator transition around Tc (250 K) and colossal magnetoresistance which is maximum around Tc. No extrinsic magnetoresistance associated with the multilayered structure was observed, probably due to the presence of ferromagnetic coupling between the metallic layers, as suggested by magnetization measurements.  相似文献

La0.67Sr0.33MnO3−δ (LSMO) and Pr0.7Ca0.3MnO3−δ (PCMO) multilayer epitaxial films, which were fabricated with different LSMO and PCMO layer thickness on LaAlO3 single crystal substrates of (0 0 1) orientation by a direct current magnetron sputtering technique, were studied further, after the structure, magnetoresistance effect and magnetic properties of LSMO/PCMO/LSMO (LPL) trilayer epitaxial films were systemically studied. The superlattice structures of multilayer films were observed according to the diffraction peaks of X-ray diffraction patterns at small angles. The metal–insulator transition temperature (TP) and peak resistivity (ρmax) obviously changed when we altered the thickness of PCMO middle layer and the intra-field related with the thickness of those layers and their interaction. Considering the effect of the distribution of electrical field and current, and the interaction among the layers of LSMO and PCMO, an effective fact n* was introduced to replace n (the number of layer). All the calculated values of ρ (the resistivity of multilayer films) accorded with the experimental values.  相似文献

The electroresistance(ER) of La_(0.36)Pr_(0.265)Ca_(0.375)MnO_3(LPCMO) epitaxial thin film was studied under various dc currents.The current effect was compared for the unpatterned film and patterned microbridge with a width of 50 μm.The value of ER in the unpatterned LPCMO film could reach 0.54 under a 1-mA current,which is much higher than ER under 1 mA for the patterned weak phase-separated La_(0.67)Ca_(0.33)MnO_3 and La_(0.85)Sr_(0.15)MnO_3 microbridges with 50-μm width.More interestingly,for the patterned LPCMO microbridge,the maximum of ER can reach 0.6 under a small current of 100 μ.A.The results were explained by considering the coexistence of ferromagnetic metallic phase with the charge-ordered phase,and the variation of the phase separation with electric current.  相似文献

In previous works (Jornadas SAM 2000; J. Magn. Magn. Mater. 226–230 (2001) 988) the low-frequency anelastic effects of two manganite perovskites of La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 were studied at 1 Hz and temperatures above those of the metal–insulator transition. An important internal friction peak (P1) appears at 414 and 419 K, respectively, with a modulus variation and no appreciable contribution to electrical resistivity. Another compound Pr1/2Ca1/2MnO3 of the same family has been studied by anelastic mechanical spectroscopy in order to add new data which could elucidate the (P1) peak mechanism. The measurements were made in a sub-resonant forced pendulum (0.1–20 Hz) and in a vibrating reed equipment (kHz range). A stable (P1) peak has been detected at 410 K (1 Hz), with a corresponding modulus step. The appearance of this relaxation peak in the Pr1/2Ca1/2MnO3 compound, and its high activation energy value, similar to the other compounds measured, indicates that the microscopic origin of this relaxation does not correspond to an oxygen jump (characteristic activation energy0.8–0.9 eV).  相似文献

The dielectric loss tanδ of half-doped manganite La 0.5 Ca 0.5 MnO 3 is investigated using Green's function technique. The La 0.5 Ca 0.5 MnO 3 is described by the Kondo-lattice model in the double exchange limit, taking into account the Jahn-Teller distortion and the super-exchange interaction between the localized electrons. It is found that the intensity of tanδ decreases with increasing | ε JT |, V, and U. It is also observed that the transition temperature T P rises as | ε JT | and U increase. It is worth noting that T P remains unchanged and the strength of tanδ increases with increasing g. The calculated dielectric loss results are explained theoretically, and these behaviors are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

Superconductivity and composition analysis of PbBaSr(Y, Ca)Cu3Oy with fixed ratio of Sr/Ba = 1 were studied. Synthesis condition and superconductivity of Pb(Ba, Sr)2(Y, Ca)Cu3Oy with various ratio of Sr/Ba and Ca/Y were also studied. It was found that Tc increased with increasing Ca concentration, and that Sr-rich specimens allowed to contain more Ca. PbBa0.8Sr1.2Y0.6Ca0.4Cu3O7 showed superconductivity with zero-resistance temperature of 42 K, which was higher than PbBaSrY0.7Ca0.3Cu3O7 with maximum Ca content for Sr/Ba = 1. Decrease in averaged ionic radii of Ba and Sr in Sr-rich compositions would be favorable for the contraction of Cu-O bonds by hole-doping via Ca substitution for Y.  相似文献

Samples of Bi2Sr2Ca1−xPrxCu2Oy have been characterized by resistivity and thermoelectric power measurements. All metallic samples show superconductivity with a maximum Tc = 90 K at X = 0.2. The sample of x = 0.6 shows a crossover from hopping conduction at low temperature above Tc to metallic conduction at high temperature. For the metallic samples below x = 0.6, the results of thermoelectric power are well fitted by both of a phenomenological band spectrum model and the Nagaosa and Lee model.  相似文献

通过传统固相反应法制备了钙钛矿锰氧化物(La1-xEux)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7(x=0,0.15)多晶样品,并且对其磁性和电性进行了研究.磁性测量表明:随着温度的降低,样品经历了一个复杂的转变过程,在温度为T*时经历二维短程铁磁有序转变,在温度为TC时进入三维长程铁磁态.随着Eu的掺杂,T*和TC减小,并且样品(La0.85Eu0.15)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7在低温区表现出自旋玻璃行为.电性质测量表明:在母体La4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7中La位掺杂Eu后电阻率明显变大,金属绝缘转变温度TMI降低,磁电阻峰值增大.这些影响归因于较小的Eu3+离子替代La3+离子导致平均离子半径减小,晶格发生畸变.此外,较小的Eu3+离子优先占据层间岩盐层的R-site,使La3+,Sr3+,Eu3+离子在(La0.85Eu0.15)4/3Sr5/3Mn2O7中的分布更加有序,所以x=0.15的样品的ρ-T曲线只有一个峰.  相似文献
