The reaction of LH3 with Ni(ClO4)(2).6H 2O and lanthanide salts in a 2:2:1 ratio in the presence of triethylamine leads to the formation of the trinuclear complexes [L2Ni2Ln][ClO4] (Ln=La (2), Ce (3), Pr (4), Nd (5), Sm (6), Eu (7), Gd (8), Tb (9), Dy (10), Ho (11) and Er (12) and L: (S)P[N(Me)NCH-C6H3-2-O-3-OMe]3). The cationic portion of these complexes consists of three metal ions that are arranged in a linear manner. The two terminal nickel(II) ions are coordinated by imino and phenolate oxygen atoms (3N, 3O), whereas the central lanthanide ion is bound to the phenolate and methoxy oxygen atoms (12O). The Ni-Ni separations in these complexes range from 6.84 to 6.48 A. The Ni-Ni, Ni-Ln and Ln-O phenolate bond distances in 2-12 show a gradual reduction proceeding from 2 to 12 in accordance with lanthanide contraction. Whereas all of the compounds (2-12) are paramagnetic systems, 8 displays a remarkable ST=(11)/2 ground state induced by an intramolecular Ni. . .Gd ferromagnetic interaction, and 10 is a new mixed metal 3d/4f single-molecule magnet generated by the high-spin ground state of the complex and the magnetic anisotropy brought by the dysprosium(III) metal ion.  相似文献

Trinuclear lanthanide complexes of the formula [Ln(3)(PPDA)(NO(3))(6)(H(2)O)(2)].NO(3).2H(2)O where Ln=La(III), Pr(III), Sm(III), Nd(III), Eu(III) Gd(III) Tb(III), Dy(III) and Y(III); H(2)PPDA=N,N'-bis(2-pyridinyl)-2,6-pyridinedicarboxamide, have been isolated. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility measurements and spectral (IR, NMR, UV-vis, fluorescence, FAB and EPR) and thermal studies.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(NO3)3(aq) with K3[Fe(CN)6] or K3[Co(CN)6] and 2,2'-bipyridine in water/ethanol led to eight trinuclear complexes: trans-[M(CN)4(mu-CN)2{Ln(H2O)4(bpy)2}2][M(CN)6].8H2O (M = Fe3+ or Co3+, Ln = La3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+, and Sm3+). The structures for the eight complexes [La2Fe] (1), [Ce2Fe] (2), [Pr2Fe] (3), [Nd2Fe] (4), [Ce2Co] (5), [Pr2Co] (6), [Nd2Co] (7), and [Sm2Co] (8) have been solved; they crystallize in the triclinic space group P and are isomorphous. They exhibit a supramolecular 3D architecture through hydrogen bonding and pi-pi stacking interactions. A stereochemical study of the nine-vertex polyhedra of the lanthanide ions, based on continuous shape measures, is presented. No significant magnetic interaction was found between the lanthanide(III) and the iron(III) ions.  相似文献

Two novel blue luminescent bridging ligands N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)-1,4-phenylenediamine (tppd) and N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-pyridyl)-1,1-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine (tpbpd) have been synthesized. Several novel lanthanide complexes containing 2,2',2"-tripyridylamine (2,2',2"-tpa), 2,2',3"-tpa, tppd, or tpbpd ligands have been synthesized and characterized structurally, which include Pr(hfa)3(2,2',2"-tpa), I, Ln(tmhd)3(2,2',3"-tpa), 2 (Ln = Dy, 2a; Eu, 2b; Tb, 2c; Sm, 2d), [Eu(tmhd)3][Pr(hfa)3](2,2',3"-tpa), 3, [Pr(hfa)3]2(tppd), 4, and [Ln(hfa)3]2(tpbpd), 5, where Ln = Pr (5a), Eu (5b), tmhd = 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedionato, and hfa = hexafluoroacetylacetonate. The Dy(III), Eu(III), and Tb(III) complexes display a bright photoluminescence, which can be achieved by either a direct excitation process or an indirect excitation process. Compounds 2a-2d can be sublimed readily.  相似文献

To tune the lanthanide luminescence in related molecular structures, we synthesized and characterized a series of lanthanide complexes with imidazole-based ligands: two tripodal ligands, tris{[2-{(1-methylimidazol-2-yl)methylidene}amino]ethyl}amine (Me(3)L), and tris{[2-{(imidazol-4-yl)methylidene}amino]ethyl}amine (H(3)L), and the dipodal ligand bis{[2-{(imidazol-4-yl)methylidene}amino]ethyl}amine (H(2)L). The general formulas are [Ln(Me(3)L)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(3)·3H(2)O (Ln = 3+ lanthanide ion: Sm (1), Eu (2), Gd (3), Tb (4), and Dy (5)), [Ln(H(3)L)(NO(3))](NO(3))(2)·MeOH (Ln(3+) = Sm (6), Eu (7), Gd (8), Tb (9), and Dy (10)), and [Ln(H(2)L)(NO(3))(2)(MeOH)](NO(3))·MeOH (Ln(3+) = Sm (11), Eu (12), Gd (13), Tb (14), and Dy (15)). Each lanthanide ion is 9-coordinate in the complexes with the Me(3)L and H(3)L ligands and 10-coordinate in the complexes with the H(2)L ligand, in which counter anion and solvent molecules are also coordinated. The complexes show a screw arrangement of ligands around the lanthanide ions, and their enantiomorphs form racemate crystals. Luminescence studies have been carried out on the solid and solution-state samples. The triplet energy levels of Me(3)L, H(3)L, and H(2)L are 21?000, 22?700, and 23?000 cm(-1), respectively, which were determined from the phosphorescence spectra of their Gd(3+) complexes. The Me(3)L ligand is an effective sensitizer for Sm(3+) and Eu(3+) ions. Efficient luminescence of Sm(3+), Eu(3+), Tb(3+), and Dy(3+) ions was observed in complexes with the H(3)L and H(2)L ligands. Ligand modification by changing imidazole groups alters their triplet energy, and results in different sensitizing ability towards lanthanide ions.  相似文献

A series of 10 novel polyoxometalate (W/Mo) compounds connected via a trivalent lanthanide cation bridge, H2{[K(H2O)2]2[Ln(H2O)5]2(H2M12O42)}.n(H2O) (Ln = La, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, Lu; M = W or W/Mo) (1-10), were designed and synthesized on the basis of the abduction of Al3+ in aqueous solution. X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that the structures of complexes 1-10 are three-dimensional frameworks assembled from the arrangement of H2M12O42(10-) (named paradodecmetalate-B) and Ln(H2O)53+ with two planes, which are constructed via the unification of H2M12O42(10-) and Ln(H2O)53+, along the [100] and [001] directions. Magnetic measurements reveal the paramagnetic properties and a strong ferromagnetic coupling between the two nearest-neighboring lanthanide cations, Ln3+ (Ln = Dy, Er), within the circle for compounds 2 and 4-9.  相似文献

Anhydrous lanthanide(III) chlorides (Ln = Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb) react with 3 equiv of lithium 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-2,5-disila-1-azacyclopentanide, Li[N[Si(CH3)2CH2Ch2Si(CH3)2]], in THF or Et(2)O to afford the monomeric four-coordinate heteroleptic ate complexes Ln[N[Si(CH3)2CH2CH2Si(CH3)2]]3(mu-Cl)Li(THF/Et2O)3 (Ln = Sm (1), Eu (2), Gd (3), Tb (4), Dy (5), Ho (6), Er (7), Tm (8), Yb (9)), whose solid-state structures were determined by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction technique. All complexes additionally were characterized by melting point determination, elemental analyses, and mass spectrometry.  相似文献

New lanthanide thioantimonate(V) compounds, [Ln(en)3(H2O)x(mu(3-x)-SbS4)] (en = ethylenediamine, Ln = La, x = 0, Ia; Ln = Nd, x = 1, Ib) and [Ln(en)4]SbS4.0.5en (Ln = Eu, IIa; Dy, IIb; Yb, IIc), were synthesized under mild solvothermal conditions by reacting Ln2O3, Sb, and S in en at 140 degrees C. These compounds were classified as two types according to the molecular structures. The crystal structure of type I (Ia and Ib) consists of one-dimensional neutral [Ln(en)3(H2O)x(mu(3-x)-SbS(4))]infinity (x = 0 or 1) chains, in which SbS4(3-) anions act as tridentate or bidentate bridging ligands to interlink [Ln(en)3]3+ ions, while the crystal structure of type II (IIa, IIb, and IIc) contains isolated [Ln(en)4]3+ cations, tetrahedral SbS4(3-) anions, and free en molecules. A systematic investigation of the crystal structures of the five lanthanide compounds, as well as two reported compounds, clarifies the relationship between the molecular structure and the entity of the lanthanide(III) series, such as the stability of the lanthanide(III)-en complexes, the coordination number, and the ionic radii of the metals.  相似文献

A new tripodal, hydroxyl-rich ligand, tris{2-[(3,4-dihydroxybenzylidene)imino]ethyl}amine (L), and its complexes with lanthanide nitrates were synthesized. These complexes which are stable in air with the general formula of [LnL(NO(3))(2)]NO(3).H(2)O (Ln=La, Sm, Eu, Gd, Y) were characterized by molar conductivity, elemental analysis, IR spectra and thermal analysis. The NO(3)(-) groups coordinated to lanthanide mono-dentately, and the coordination number in these complexes may be 8. The interaction of complexes with DNA were investigated by ultraviolet and fluorescent spectra, which showed that the binding mode of complexes with DNA was intercalation, and the binding affinity with DNA were La(III) complex>Sm(III) complex>Eu(III) complex>Gd(III) complex>Y(III) complex. Based on these results, it can be shown that the La(III)complex is promising candidate for therapeutic reagents and DNA probes.  相似文献

A Th(IV) compound, [Th(TFSI)4(HTFSI)].2H2O [where TFSI = N(SO2CF3)2], has been synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and vibrational spectroscopy. The analysis suggests that the TFSI anion coordinates to the metal center via the sulfonyl oxygens as well as provides evidence for the coordination of HTFSI. The voltammetric behavior of this compound has been studied in the room-temperature ionic liquid [Me3NnBu][TFSI], and results show that Th(IV) is reduced to Th(0) in this ionic liquid in a single reduction step. Analysis of cyclic voltammograms shows that an insoluble product is being formed at the electrode surface, which is attributed to the formation of ThO2 by reaction with water. The E0 value for the reduction of Th(IV) to Th(0) has been determined to be -2.20 V (vs Fc+/Fc; -1.80 V vs SHE). A comparison of this E0 value with those obtained for Th(IV) reduction in a LiCl-KCl eutectic (400 degrees C), water, and nonaqueous solvents shows that the reduction in [Me3NnBu][TFSI] is easier to accomplish than that in these other solvents.  相似文献

Heterobimetallic Lewis acids M 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln [M = Li, Na, K; Ln = lanthanide(III)] are exceptionally useful asymmetric catalysts that exhibit high levels of enantioselectivity across a wide range of reactions. Despite their prominence, important questions remain regarding the nature of the catalyst-substrate interactions and, therefore, the mechanism of catalyst operation. Reported herein are the isolation and structural characterization of 7- and 8-coordinate heterobimetallic complexes Li 3(THF) 4(BINOLate) 3Ln(THF) [Ln = La, Pr, and Eu], Li 3(py) 5(BINOLate) 3Ln(py) [Ln = Eu and Yb], and Li 3(py) 5(BINOLate) 3La(py) 2 [py = pyridine]. Solution binding studies of cyclohexenone, DMF, and pyridine with Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = Eu, Pr, and Yb] and Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = La and Eu; DMEDA = N, N'-dimethylethylene diamine] demonstrate binding of these Lewis basic substrate analogues to the lanthanide center. The paramagnetic europium, ytterbium, and praseodymium complexes Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln induce relatively large lanthanide-induced shifts on substrate analogues that ranged from 0.5 to 4.3 ppm in the (1)H NMR spectrum. X-ray structure analysis and NMR studies of Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3Ln [Ln = Lu, Eu, La, and the transition metal analogue Y] reveal selective binding of DMEDA to the lithium centers. Upon coordination of DMEDA, six new stereogenic nitrogen centers are formed with perfect diastereoselectivity in the solid state, and only a single diastereomer is observed in solution. The lithium-bound DMEDA ligands are not displaced by cyclohexenone, DMF, or THF on the NMR time scale. Use of the DMEDA adduct Li 3(DMEDA) 3(BINOLate) 3La in three catalytic asymmetric reactions led to enantioselectivities similar to those obtained with Shibasaki's Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3La complex. Also reported is a unique dimeric [Li 6(en) 7(BINOLate) 6Eu 2][mu-eta (1),eta (1)-en] structure [en = ethylenediamine]. On the basis of these studies, it is hypothesized that the lanthanide in Shibasaki's Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln complexes cannot bind bidentate substrates in a chelating fashion. A hypothesis is also presented to explain why the lanthanide catalyst, Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3La, is often the most enantioselective of the Li 3(THF) n (BINOLate) 3Ln derivatives.  相似文献

A new ligand, N,N'-di(pyridine N-oxide-2-yl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide (LH2) and its several lanthanide (III) complexes (La, Eu, Gd, Tb, Y) were synthesized and characterized in detail based on elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, IR, 1H NMR, MS (FAB) and UV spectra and TG-DTA studies. The results indicated that the composition of these binary complexes is [Ln(LH2)(NO3)2.H2O]NO3.nH2O (n=0-1); while the ligand has a good planar structure with strong hydrogen bonds. The fluorescence spectra exhibits that the Tb (III) complex and the Eu (III) complex display characteristic metal-centered fluorescence in solid state while ligand fluorescence is completely quenched. However, the Tb (III) complex displays more effective luminescence than the Eu (III) complex, which is attributed to especial effectivity in transferring energy from the lowest triplet energy level of the ligands (T) onto the excited state (5D4) of Tb (III) than that (5D1) of Eu (III).  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(NO3)3.aq with K3[Fe(CN)6] or K3[Co(CN)6] in N,N'-dimethylformamide (DMF) led to 25 heterodinuclear [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Fe(CN)5].nH2O and [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Co(CN)5].nH2O complexes (with Ln = all the lanthanide(III) ions, except promethium and lutetium). Five complexes (Pr(3+)-Fe3+), (Tm(3+)-Fe3+), (Ce(3+)-Co3+), (Sm(3+)-Co3+), and (Yb(3+)-Co3+) have been structurally characterized; they crystallize in the equivalent monoclinic space groups P21/c or P21/n. Structural studies of these two families show that they are isomorphous. This relationship in conjunction with the diamagnetism of the Co3+ allows an approximation to the nature of coupling between the iron(III) and the lanthanide(III) ions in the [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Fe(CN)5].nH2O complexes. The Ln(3+)-Fe3+ interaction is antiferromagnetic for Ln = Ce, Nd, Gd, and Dy and ferromagnetic for Ln = Tb, Ho, and Tm. For Ln = Pr, Eu, Er, Sm, and Yb, there is no sign of any significant interaction. The isotropic nature of Gd3+ helps to evaluate the value of the exchange interaction.  相似文献

Two series of novel complexes, [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)](dca).(phen) (Ln = Pr (1), Gd (2), and Sm (3), dca = N(CN)(-), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) and [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n), (Ln = Gd (4), Sm (5), and La (6), 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipydine), have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures of the first series (1-3) are isomorphous and consist of discrete [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)]+ cations, dca anions, and lattice phen molecules; whereas the structures of the second series (4-6) are characterized by infinite chains [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n). The Ln(III) atoms in all complexes are nine-coordinated and form a distorted tricapped trigonal prism environment. The three-dimensional frameworks of 1-6 are constructed by intermolecular hydrogen bond interactions. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements for complexes 1, 2, 4, and 5 indicate a Curie-Weiss paramagnetic behavior over 5-300 K.  相似文献

The reductive reactivity of lanthanide hydride ligands in the [(C5Me5)2LnH]x complexes (Ln = Sm, La, Y) was examined to see if these hydride ligands would react like the actinide hydrides in [(C5Me5)2AnH2]2 (An = U, Th) and [(C5Me5)2UH]2. Each lanthanide hydride complex reduces PhSSPh to make [(C5Me5)2Ln(mu-SPh)]2 in approximately 90% yield. [(C5Me5)2SmH]2 reduces phenazine and anthracene to make [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C12H8N2) and [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C10H14), respectively, but the analogous [(C5Me5)2LaH]x and [(C5Me5)2YH]2 reactions are more complicated. All three lanthanide hydrides reduce C8H8 to make (C5Me5)Ln(C8H8) and (C5Me5)3Ln, a reaction that constitutes another synthetic route to (C5Me5)3Ln complexes. In the reaction of [(C5Me5)2YH]2 with C8H8, two unusual byproducts are obtained. In benzene, a (C5Me5)Y[(eta(5)-C5Me4CH2-C5Me4CH2-eta(3))] complex forms in which two (C5Me5)(1-) rings are linked to make a new type of ansa-allyl-cyclopentadienyl dianion that binds as a pentahapto-trihapto chelate. In cyclohexane, a (C5Me5)2Y(mu-eta(8):eta(1)-C8H7)Y(C5Me5) complex forms in which a (C8H8)(2-) ring is metalated to form a bridging (C8H7)(3-) trianion.  相似文献

A series of trivalent mono- and tris(ligand) lanthanide complexes of a sulfur-bridged binaphthol ligand [1,1'-S(2-HOC(10)H(4)Bu(t)(2)-3,6)(2)] H(2)L(SN), have been prepared and characterised both structurally and photophysically. The H(2)L(SN) ligand provides an increased steric bulk and offers an additional donor atom (sulfur) as compared with 1,1'-binaphthol (BINOL), a ligand commonly used to complex Lewis acidic lanthanide catalysts. Reaction of the diol H(2)L(SN) with [Sm[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)] affords silylamido- and amino- derivatives [Sm(L(SN))[N(SiMe(3))(2)][HN(SiMe(3))(2)]] and the crystallographically characterised [Sm(L(SN))[N(SiMe(3))(2)](thf)(2)] with different degrees of structural rigidity, depending on the presence of coordinating solvents. The binaphthyl groups of the L(SN) ligand act as sensitisers of the metal centred emission, which is observed for the Eu(III) and Sm(III) complexes studied. We have therefore sought to use emission spectroscopy as a non-invasive technique to monitor a monomer-dimer equilibrium in these complexes. A dramatic difference between the emission properties of the unreactive dimeric Sm(III) aryloxide complex, the solvated monomeric analogues and the amido adduct demonstrated the potential use of such a technique. For a few representative lanthanides (Ln = Sm, Eu and Y) the reaction of the dilithium salt Li(2)L(SN) with either [Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2]3)] or [LnCl(3)(thf)(3)] affords only the homoleptic complex [Li(S)(3)][LnL(SN)(3)](S = thf or diethyl ether); we report the structural characterisation of the Sm complex. However, the reactions of this dipotassium salt K(2)L(SN) with [Sm[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)] or [SmCl(3)(thf)(3)] give only [SmL(SN)N(SiMe(3))(2)], or intractable mixtures respectively, in which no (tris)binaphtholate is observed. The only isolable lanthanide-L(SN) halide adduct so far is [YbL(SN)I(thf)].  相似文献

Reaction of the cyanoruthenate anions [Ru(bpym)(CN)4]2- and [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)]4- (bpym = 2,2'-bipyrimidine) with lanthanide(III) salts resulted in the crystallization of coordination networks based on Ru-CN-Ln bridges. Four types of structure were obtained: [Ru(bpym)(CN)4][Ln(NO3)(H2O)5] (Ru-Ln; Ln = Sm, Nd, and Gd) are one-dimensional helical chains; [Ru(bpym)(CN)4]2[Ln(NO3)(H2O)2][Ln(NO3)(0.5)(H2O)(5.5)](NO3)(0.5).5.5H2O (Ru-Ln; Ln = Er and Yb) are two-dimensional sheets containing cross-linked chains based on Ru2Ln2(mu-CN)4 diamond units, which are linked into one-dimensional chains via shared Ru atoms; [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)][Ln(NO3)(H2O)5]2.3H2O (Ru2-Ln; Ln = Nd and Sm) are one-dimensional ladders with parallel Ln-NC-Ru-CN-Ln-NC strands connected by the bipyrimidine "cross pieces" acting as rungs on the ladder; and [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)][Ln(H2O)6](0.5)[Ln(H2O)4](NO3)(0.5).nH2O (Ru2-Ln; Ln = Eu, Gd, and Yb; n = 8.5, 8.5, and 8, respectively) are three-dimensional networks in which two-dimensional sheets of Ru2Ln2(mu-CN)4 diamonds are connected via cyanide bridges to Ln(III) ions between the layers. Whereas Ru-Gd shows weak triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (3MLCT) luminescence in the solid state from the Ru-bipyrimidine chromophore, in Ru-Nd, Ru-Er, and Ru-Yb, the Ru-based emission is quenched, and all of these show, instead, sensitized lanthanide-based near-IR luminescence following a Ru --> Ln energy transfer. Similarly, Ru2-Nd and Ru2-Yb show lanthanide-based near-IR emission following excitation of the Ru-bipyrimidine chromophore. Time-resolved luminescence measurements suggest that the Ru --> Ln energy-transfer rate is faster (when Ln = Yb and Er) than in related complexes based on the [Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2- chromophore, because the lower energy of the Ru-bpym 3MLCT provides better spectroscopic overlap with the low-energy f-f states of Yb(III) and Er(III). In every case, the lanthanide-based luminescence is relatively short-lived as a result of the CN oscillations in the lattice.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear lanthanide(III) complexes Ln(pytz)3(H2O)3·(H2O)3.5[Ln=Tb(1); Eu(2); Hpytz= 5-(2-pyridyl)tetrazole] were synthesized by reacting Hpytz with the corresponding lanthanide(III) ions and characterized. The single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that complexes 1 and 2 are isostructural and the lanthanide(III) ions in both complexes 1 and 2 are nine-coordinated, with three oxygen atoms of three coordination water molecules and six nitrogen atoms of three pytz ligands, forming a monocapped square antiprism. Extensive hydrogen bonds exist, resulting in a three-dimensional supramolecular network structure by hydrogen-bonds in both complexes 1 and 2, respectively. Complex 1 exhibits typical green fluorescence of Tb(III) ion and complex 2 red fluorescence of Eu(III) ion, in solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

A mesogenic Schiff-base, N,N'-di-(4-decyloxysalicylidene)-1',6'-diaminohexane, H2ddsdh (abbreviated as H2L2) that exhibits smectic-B (SmB) mesophase, was synthesized and its structure studied by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, NMR & IR spectral techniques. The Schiff-base, H2L2, upon condensation with hydrated lanthanide(III) nitrates, yields LnIII complexes of the general composition [Ln2(L2H2)3(NO3)4](NO3)2, where Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Ho. IR and NMR spectral data imply a bi-dentate bonding of the Schiff-base in its zwitterionic form (as L2H2) to the LnIII ions through two phenolate oxygens. The POM and DSC studies reveal that none of the LnIII complexes exhibits mesomorphism. Fluorescence studies show that the TbIII complex displays characteristic metal-centered fluorescence (solution state).  相似文献
