On quadratic scalarization of vector optimization problems in Banach spaces

We study vector optimization problems in partially ordered Banach spaces and suppose that the objective mapping possesses a weakened property of lower semicontinuity and make no assumptions on the interior of the ordering cone. We discuss the so-called adaptive scalarization of such problems and show that the corresponding scalar non-linear optimization problems can be by-turn approximated by quadratic minimization problems.     

Epi and coepi-analysis of one class of vector-valued mappings

This article deals with a new characterization of lower semicontinuity of vector-valued mappings in normed spaces. We study the link between the lower semicontinuity property of vector-valued mappings and the topological properties of their epigraphs and coepigraphs, respectively. We show that if the objective space is partially ordered by a pointed cone with nonempty interior, then coepigraphs are stable with respect to the procedure of their closure and, moreover, the locally semicompact vector-valued mappings with closed coepigraphs are lower semicontinuous. Using these results we propose some regularization schemes for vector-valued functions. In the case when there are no assumptions on the topological interior of the ordering cone, we introduce a new concept of lower semicontinuity for vector-valued mappings, the so-called epi-lower semicontinuity, which is closely related to the closedness of epigraphs of such mappings, and study their main properties. All principal notions and assertions are illustrated by numerous examples.     

约束锥扰动多目标规划锥有效解集的闭性和半连续性

本文研究拓扑向量空间中目标映射和约束映射均为连续,约束映射的约束锥为半连续的条件下,受扰动可达目标集的锥有效点集和锥弱有效点集的闭性、半连续性和锥半连续性.在此基础上,得到了约束锥扰动多目标规划问题的锥有效解集和锥弱有效解集的闭性和半连续性.     

向量优化问题有效解的稳定性

运用标量化的方法,通过锥正定真有效解的上半连续性讨论了无限维赋范空间中锥有效解的部分上半连续性,证明了锥有效解的通有稳定性.在此基础上,进一步证明,在Baire纲的意义下,绝大多数的向量优化问题至少存在一个锥正定真有效解是本质的有效解,换句话说,绝大多数的向量优化问题锥有效解是几乎下半连续的.     

Differential Vector Variational Inequalities in Finite-Dimensional Spaces

In this paper, a differential vector variational inequality is introduced and studied in finite-dimensional Euclidean spaces. The existence of a Carathéodory weak solution for the differential vector variational inequality is presented under some suitable conditions. Furthermore, the upper semicontinuity and the lower semicontinuity of the solution sets for the differential variational inequality are established when both the mapping and the constraint set are perturbed by two different parameters.     

Semicontinuity of the solution set of parametric multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems

In this paper we establish sufficient conditions for the solution set of parametric multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems to be semicontinuous. All kinds of semicontinuity are considered: lower semicontinuity, upper semicontinuity, Hausdorff upper semicontinuity and closedness. Moreover, we investigate both the “weak” and “strong” solutions of quasiequilibrium problems.     

Continuity of lower envelopes

The purpose of the paper is to give a complete characterization of the continuity of lower envelopes in the infinite dimensional spaces. The characterization of upper or lower semicontinuity of envelopes, when stated in the language of multifunctions, has a dual geometric character which depends on the upper or lower semicontinuity of the corresponding multifunction.     

The existence of equilibria for noncompact generalized games

The purpose of this paper is to establish general existence of equilibria for noncompact generalized games (respectively, noncompact abstract economics) under general setting of noncompact conditions and in which the L-majorized preference mappings may not have lower semicontinuity, and constraint correspondences are only lower or upper semicontinuous. In our model, strategic (respectively, commodity) spaces are not compact, the set of players (respectively, agents) are countable or uncountable, and underlying spaces are either finite- or infinite-dimensional locally topological vector spaces. Our results might be regarded as a unified theory for the corresponding results in the existing literatures in the study of generalized games (respectively, abstract economics) theory.

运用非线性标量化方法, 讨论参数弱向量平衡问题解集映射的上半连续性和下半连续性, 并举例说明了所得结果的正确性.     

含参弱向量均衡问题的适定性

在实Hausdorff拓扑线性空间中研究了含参弱向量均衡问题的适定性.证明了在适当条件下由近似网定义的含参适定性等价于近似解映射的上半连续性,并给出了所研究问题各种适定的充分性条件.     

Continuity of the efficient solution mapping for vector optimization problems

This paper aims at investigating the continuity of the efficient solution mapping of perturbed vector optimization problems. First, we introduce the concept of the level mapping. We give sufficient conditions for the upper semicontinuity and the lower semicontinuity of the level mapping. The upper semicontinuity and the lower semicontinuity of the efficient solution mapping are established by using the continuity properties of the level mapping. We establish a corollary about the lower semicontinuity of the minimal point set-valued mapping. Meanwhile, we give some examples to illustrate that the corollary is different from the ones in the literature.

Lower Semicontinuity and Upper Semicontinuity of the Solution Sets and Approximate Solution Sets of Parametric Multivalued Quasivariational Inequalities

We consider the semicontinuity of the solution set and the approximate solution set of parametric multivalued quasivariational inequalities in topological vector spaces. Three kinds of problems arising from the multivalued situation are investigated. A rather complete picture, which is symmetric for the two kinds of semicontinuity (lower and upper semicontinuity) and for the three kinds of multivalued quasivariational inequality problems, is supplied. Moreover, we use a simple technique to prove the results. The results obtained improve several known ones in the literature. This research was partially supported by the National Basic Research Program in Natural Sciences of Vietnam. On the Stability of the Solution Sets of General Multivalued Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems

We give sufficient conditions for the semicontinuity of solution sets of general multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems. All kinds of semicontinuities are considered: lower semicontinuity, upper semicontinuity, Hausdorff upper semicontinuity, and closedness. Moreover, we investigate the weak, middle, and strong solutions of quasiequilibrium problems. Many examples are provided to give more insights and comparisons with recent existing results.     

Levitin–Polyak well-posedness for constrained quasiconvex vector optimization problems

In this paper, a notion of Levitin–Polyak (LP in short) well-posedness is introduced for a vector optimization problem in terms of minimizing sequences and efficient solutions. Sufficient conditions for the LP well-posedness are studied under the assumptions of compactness of the feasible set, closedness of the set of minimal solutions and continuity of the objective function. The continuity assumption is then weakened to cone lower semicontinuity for vector-valued functions. A notion of LP minimizing sequence of sets is studied to establish another set of sufficient conditions for the LP well-posedness of the vector problem. For a quasiconvex vector optimization problem, sufficient conditions are obtained by weakening the compactness of the feasible set to a certain level-boundedness condition. This in turn leads to the equivalence of LP well-posedness and compactness of the set of efficient solutions. Some characterizations of LP well-posedness are given in terms of the upper Hausdorff convergence of the sequence of sets of approximate efficient solutions and the upper semicontinuity of an approximate efficient map by assuming the compactness of the set of efficient solutions, even when the objective function is not necessarily quasiconvex. Finally, a characterization of LP well-posedness in terms of the closedness of the approximate efficient map is provided by assuming the compactness of the feasible set.     

Upper Semicontinuity of the Solution set to Parametric Vector Quasivariational Inequalities

We prove the upper semicontinuity (in term of the closedness) of the solution set with respect to parameters of vector quasivariational inequalities involving multifunctions in topological vector spaces under the semicontinuity of the data, avoiding monotonicity assumptions. In particular, a new quasivariational inequality problem is proposed. Continuity of the solution mappings to parametric generalized strong vector equilibrium problems

In this paper, we establish the upper semicontinuity and lower semicontinuity of solution mappings to a parametric generalized strong vector equilibrium problem with setvalued mappings by using a scalarization method and a density result. The results improve the corresponding ones in the literature. Some examples are given to illustrate our results.     

Semicontinuity Results on Parametric Vector Variational Inequalities with Polyhedral Constraint Sets

New results on the lower semicontinuity and upper semicontinuity properties of the Pareto solutions to a parametric vector variational inequality with a polyhedral constraint set are obtained by scalarization approaches.     

Semicontinuity of Solution Mappings to Parametric Generalized Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this article, stability results concerning the lower semicontinuity and the Hausdorff upper semicontinuity of the solution mappings to parametric generalized vector equilibrium problems with neither the monotonicity of mappings nor any information of the solution mappings are established by using scalarization methods and a new density result.     

Stability analysis for vector quasiequilibrium problems

This paper is devoted to the continuity of the solution mapping for vector quasiequilibrium problems under mapping perturbations. We show that the solution mapping is upper semicontinuous and Hausdorff upper semicontinuous. Sufficient conditions for the lower semicontinuity and Hausdorff lower semicontinuity of the solution mapping are established. Finally, we apply our results to traffic network problems as example.
