PSL（2，F）的一个嵌入定理及其应用

设Ｆ是任意域，Ｇ代表ＳＬ（２，Ｆ）或ＰＳＬ（２，Ｆ）．本文的主要结果是：设Ｋ是Ｆ的子域，则Ｇ中同构于ＳＬ（２，Ｋ）或ＰＳＬ（２，Ｋ）的子群在Ｇ的自同构的作用下彼此共轭，利用这一结果，本文明确确定了A₁^[1]型的仿射Ｋａｃ－Ｍｏｏｄｙ群的一类极大正规子群．     

On generalized fibonacci groups with an odd number of generators

The geometrical properties of cyclically presented groups of Fibonacci type F(r,m, k)and H(r,m,k)are discussed. It is shown that for even rand odd m some infinite family of generalized Fibonacci groups F(r, m, k)cannot be fundamental groups of hyperbolic 3-orbifolds of finite volume.

用自同构构造了李型群Ｂｎ（Ｆ）的一组第四类极大子群，肯定地回答了第四类极大子群的存在性问题。

A New Type of Pronormal Subgroups in Chevalley Groups

Let L be a simple Lie algebra with irreducible root system φ having roots of different length,F be a field of characteristic different from 2,G=L(F) be a Chevalley group of type L over F.Denote by φ^1 the set of all long roots in φ.Set G^1=(zr(t);r∈φ^t,t∈F).It is a subgroup of G generated by all the long root subgroups.This paper determines the pronormality of G^1 in G when L is not of type G2.

On sse-embedded subgroups of finite groups

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the concept of sse-embedded subgroups of finite groups and present some new characterizations of solubility of finite groups using the sse-embedding property of subgroups. Furthermore, we discuss the sse-embedded subgroups in finite nonabelian simple groups. Some previously known results are generalized and unified.

研究了阶为p(m(m+1)/2)且交换子群的最大阶为p(m)的有限群,得到了这类特殊的p群的几个性质,给出了满足极大类条件的这类p群的同构分类.

设Ｆ是可解的，子群闭的，由｛ｆ（Ｐ）｝所局部定义的群系，Ｆｐ是由｛ｆ（ｑ）｝定义的ｐ－局部定义群系．Ｎ为幂零群系．本文证明了：１）设Ｆ满足：任一群属于Ｆ，当且仅当，对每ｐ．其ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ－正规化子属于Ｆｐ．于是“群Ｇ∈Ｎ．Ｆ（幂零由Ｆ的扩张）的充要条件是，对每Ｐ，其ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ－正规化子的Ｆｐ剩余次正规于Ｇ内．２）群Ｇ为超可解的充要条件是，对每ｐ，其ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ－正规化子为ｐ－超可解，且其幂零剩余次正规于Ｇ内．若对每ｐ，群Ｇ的ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ子群无商群与ｐ２－次对称群的ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ子群同构，则称Ｇ为Ｂ－群．３）设Ｇ为Ｂ－群，又群系Ｆ含于σ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ塔群系内．于是①Ｇ∈Ｆ，当且仅当，对每ｐ，Ｇ的ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ－正规化属于Ｆｐ；②Ｇ∈Ｎ·Ｆ，当且仅当，对每ｐ，Ｇ的ｐ－Ｓｙｌｏｗ－正规化子的Ｆｐ剩余在Ｇ内次正规．     

Virtually Biautomatic Groups

We introduce virtually biautomatic groups (groups with finite index biautomatic subgroups) and generalize results of Gersten and Short [3 Gersten , S. , Short , H. ( 1991 ). Rational subgroups of biautomatic groups . Annals of Mathematics 134 : 125 – 128 .[Crossref], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] and Mosher [5 Mosher , L. ( 1997 ). Central quotients of biautomatic groups . Comment. Math. Let P be a Sylow p-subgroup of a group G with the smallest generator number d,where p is a prime.Denote by M_d(P) = {P_1,P_(2,...,)P_d} a set of maximal subgroups of P such that φ(P) = ∩_(n=1)~dP_n.In this paper,we investigate the structure of a finite group G under the assumption that the maximal subgroups in M_d(P) are weakly s-permutably embedded in G,some interesting results are obtained which generalize some recent results.Finally,we give some further results in terms of weakly s-permutably embedded subgroups.     

Parabolic and quasiparabolic subgroups of free partially commutative groups

Let Γ be a finite graph and G be the corresponding free partially commutative group. In this paper we study subgroups generated by vertices of the graph Γ, which we call canonical parabolic subgroups. A natural extension of the definition leads to canonical quasiparabolic subgroups. It is shown that the centralisers of subsets of G are the conjugates of canonical quasiparabolic centralisers satisfying certain graph theoretic conditions.     

Completeness of the parabolic subgroups of projective symplectic groups

All parabolic subgroups and Borel subgroups of PSp(2m, F) over a linearable field F are shown to be complete groups.     

Fuzzy symmetric groups

We study fuzzy symmetric subgroups and obtain some properties of fuzzy symmetric subgroups of symmetric groups.     

Free Subgroups in the Units of ℤ[K 8 × C p ]

Abstract

Marciniak and Sehgal (Marciniak, Z., Sehgal, S. K. (1997). Constructing free subgroups of integral group rings units. Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.125(4):1005–1009) constructed free subgroups in U(?[G]) whenever Ghas a non normal finite subgroup. In this paper we construct free subgroups in U(?[G]), where Gis a group whose subgroups are all normal.
