The discretization size is limited by the sampling theorem, and the limit is one half of the wavelength of the highest frequency of the problem. However, one half of the wavelength is an ideal value. In general, the discretization size that can ensure the accuracy of the simulation is much smaller than this value in the traditional finite element method. The possible reason of this phenomenon is analyzed in this paper, and an efficient method is given to improve the simulation accuracy.  相似文献

The viscosity of material is considered at propagating crack-tip. Under the assumption that the artificial viscosity coefficient is in inverse proportion to power law of the plastic strain rate, an elastic-viscoplastic asymptotic analysis is carried out for moving crack-tip fields in power-hardening materials under plane-strain condition. A continuous solution is obtained containing no discontinuities. The variations of numerical solution are discussed for mode Ⅰ crack according to each parameter. It is shown that stress and strain both possess exponential singularity. The elasticity, plasticity and viscosity of material at crack-tip only can be matched reasonably under linear-hardening condition. And the tip field contains no elastic unloading zone for mode I crack. It approaches the limiting case, crack-tip is under ultra-viscose situation and energy accumulates, crack-tip begins to propagate under different compression situations.  相似文献

By the application of the theory of complex functions, asymmetrical dynamic propagation problems on mode Ⅲ interface crack are studied. The universal representations of analytical solutions are obtained by the approaches of self-similar function. The problems researched can be facilely transformed into Riemann-Hilbert problems and analytical solution to an asymmetrical propagation crack under the condition of point loads and unit-step loads, respectively, is acquired. After those solutions were used by superposition theorem, the solutions of arbitrarily complex problems could be attained.  相似文献

A numerical simulation method is developed to analyze the dynamic responses of electrostatic actuators, which are electromechanically-coupled systems. The developed method can be used to determine the dynamic responses of cantilever-type switches, which are an example of typical MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) devices driven by an electrostatic force. We propose the approach that adopts a point charge to deal with electric field effects between electrodes. This approach may be considered as a lumped parameter model for the electrostatic interactions. An advantage of this model may be the easy incorporation of the electrostatic effects between electrodes into a multibody dynamics analysis algorithm. The resulting equations contain the variables for position, velocity, and electric charge to describe the motion of the masses and the charges on the electrodes in a system. By solving these equations simultaneously, the dynamic response of an electrostatically-driven system can be correctly simulated. In order to realize this approach, we implement the procedures into RecurDyn, the multibody dynamics software developed by the authors. The developed numerical simulation tool was evaluated by applying it to cantilever-type electrostatic switches in many different driving conditions. The results suggest that the developed tool may be useful for predicting behaviors of electrostatic actuators in testing as well as in design.  相似文献

主要研究裂纹对梁结构动力特性的影响规律,进而为含裂纹梁结构状态监测提供理论依据。首先,对裂纹影响区域进行分析,建立含裂纹梁二维接触非线性有限元模型,阐明含裂纹梁具有拉压不同刚度的静力特性;其次,通过对机理模型的分析,指出拉压不同刚度会引起轴向与弯曲的耦合振动;然后,通过非线性动力学分析方法研究其动力特性,观察到含裂纹梁在冲击荷载下会产生轴向与弯曲的耦合振动现象,并指出这种轴向与弯曲耦合振动的一个重要特征是轴向振动频谱图中含有弯曲振动基频的两倍频成分;最后,通过引入非线性弹簧建立一种新颖的含裂纹梁简化动力学模型,通过与精细有限元分析对比,验证了模型的合理性。该简化动力学模型将接触非线性问题转换为材料非线性问题,避免了费时的接触非线性动力学求解过程。  相似文献

The multi-coupled nonlinear factors existing in the giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) have a serious impact on its output characteristics. If the structural parameters are not properly designed, it is easy to fall into the nonlinear instability, which has seriously hindered its application in many important fields. The electric–magnetic-machine coupled dynamic mathematical model for GMA is established according to J-A dynamic hysteresis model, ampere circuit law, nonlinear quadratic domain model and structure dynamics equation. Nonlinear dynamic analysis method is applied to study the nonlinear dynamic behaviour of the key structure parameters to reveal their influence on the system stability. The design principle of structural parameters is obtained by studying stability of GMA, which provides theoretical basis and technical support for the structural stability design.  相似文献

It is shown that the lift–to–drag ratio of a thin delta wing is significantly lower than the lift–to–drag ratio of an infinitely long swept plate with an identical lift force. The effect of sweep on a finite wing may be used by excluding disturbances from the leading edge of the wing via introducing a hardened stream surface (wedge) and increasing the wing length. A three–shock waverider is proposed for choosing the optimal parameters. The sharp wedge may be avoided by replacing planar shock waves by a cylindrical shock wave upstream of the blunted wedge. If the leading edge of the wedge is not parallel to the rib that is a source of the expansion wave, a plate with zero wave drag, generating a lift force, may be obtained behind this rib. The system of regularly intersecting shock waves may be applied to design a forward–swept wing.  相似文献

The dynamic behavior of masonry walls strengthened with composite materials and subjected to dynamic out-of-plane loading is analytically investigated. The analytical model derived in the paper focuses on one-way action through the height of the wall and it is based on dynamic equilibrium and the compatibility conditions between the structural components (masonry units, mortar joints, FRP reinforcement, and adhesive layers). The cracking and the nonlinear and dissipative behavior of the mortar material, the breathing of cracks, the rocking phenomenon, the development of arching forces, the interaction between the existing wall and the composite system, and the formation of debonded zones near the cracked mortar joints are considered in the nonlinear dynamic analysis. A numerical study that examines the capabilities of the model, quantifies the response of the strengthened wall to dynamic loads such as free and forced vibrations and seismic base excitation, and compares it to the response of the unstrengthened wall is presented. Consider a class of Ivlev's type predator-prey dynamic systems with prey and predator both having linear density restricts. By using the qualitative methods of ODE, the global stability of positive equilibrium and existence and uniqueness of non-small amplitude stable limit cycle are obtained. Especially under certain conditions, it shows that existence and uniqueness of non-small amplitude stable limit cycle is equivalent to the local un-stability of positive equilibrium and the local stability of positive equilibrium implies its global stability. That is to say, the global dynamic of the system is entirely determined by the local stability of the positive equilibrium.  相似文献

To overcome the shortcomings of extreme time-consuming in solving the Reynolds equation, two efficient calculation methods, based on the free boundary theory and variational principles for the unsteady nonlinear Reynolds equation in the condition of Reynolds boundary, are presented in the paper. By employing the two mentioned methods, the nonlinear dynamic forces as well as their Jacobians of the journal bearing can be calculated saving time but with the same accuracy. Of these two methods, the one is called a Ritz model which manipulates the cavitation region by simply introducing a parameter to match the free boundary condition and, as a result, a very simple approximate formulae of oil-film pressure is being obtained. The other one is a one-dimensional FEM method which reduces the two-dimensional variational inequality to the one-dimensional algebraic complementary equations, and then a direct method is being used to solve these complementary equations, without the need of iterations, and the free boundary condition can be automatically satisfied. Meanwhile, a new order reduction method is contributed to reduce the degrees of freedom of a complex rotor-bearing system. Thus the nonlinear behavior analysis of the rotor-bearing system can be studied time-sparingly. The results in the paper show the high efficiency of the two methods as well as the abundant nonlinear phenomenon of the system, compared with the results obtained by the usual numerical solution of the Reynolds equation.  相似文献

A standard conservation form is derived in this paper. The hyperbolicity of Helbing’s fluid dynamic traffic flow model is proved, which is essential to the general analytical and numerical study of this model. On the basis of this conservation form, a local discontinuous Galerkin scheme is designed to solve the resulting system efficiently. The evolution of an unstable equilibrium traffic state leading to a stable stop-and-go traveling wave is simulated. This simulation also verifies that the model is truly improved by the introduction of the modified diffusion coefficients, and thus helps to protect vehicles from collisions and avoide the appearance of the extremely large density.  相似文献

Long liquid slugs, with sizes reaching 500 pipe diameters or more, may form in gas–liquid horizontal pipe flow at intermediate liquid loadings. Such slugs cause serious operational upsets due to the strong fluctuations in flow supply and pressure. Therefore, predicting the transition from short (hydrodynamic) to long slug flow regimes may play a significant role in preventing or reducing the negative effects caused by the long slugs.  相似文献

The work presented herein regards the analysis of an experimental technique for the execution of dynamic tensile tests on structural material sheet specimens. Dynamic tensile testing of sheet is becoming more important due to the need for more optimized vehicle crashworthiness analysis in the automotive industry. Positive strain-rate sensitivity, i.e. the strength increases with strain-rate, offers a potential for improved energy absorption during a crash event. Tests have been carried out in the Reliability and Safety Laboratory of the 2nd Engineering Faculty of the Politecnico di Torino. Different types of testing techniques have been used to generate data under dynamic conditions. However, no guidelines are available for the testing method, specimen dimensions, measurement devices, and other important issues which are critical for the quality of the results. Accurate signal processing and curve smoothing are often necessary to make the testing data usable.  相似文献

The non-smooth dynamic model of an unmanned bicycle is established to study the contact-separate and stick-slip non-smooth phenomena between wheels and the ground.According to the Carvallo-Whipple configuration,the unmanned bicycle is reduced to four rigid bodies,namely,rear wheel,rear frame,front fork,and front wheel,which are connected by perfect revolute joints.The interaction between each wheel and the ground is simplified as the normal contact force and the friction force at the contact point,and these forces are described by the Hunt-Crossley contact force model and the Lu Gre friction force model,respectively.According to the characteristics of flat and curved pavements,calculation methods for contact forces and their generalized forces are presented.The dynamics of the system is modeled by the Lagrange equations of the first kind,a numerical solution algorithm of the dynamic equations is presented,and the Baumgarte stabilization method is used to restrict the drift of the constraints.The correctness of the dynamic model and the numerical algorithm is verified in comparison with the previous studies.The feasibility of the proposed model is demonstrated by simulations under different motion states.  相似文献

This paper employs differential transformation (DT) method to analyze and control the dynamic behavior of a gyroscope system. The analytical results reveal a complex dynamic behavior comprising periodic, subharmonic, quasiperiodic, and chaotic responses of the center of gravity. Furthermore, the results reveal the changes which take place in the dynamic behavior of the gyroscope system as the external force is increased. The current analytical results by DT method are found to be in good agreement with those of Runge?CKutta (RK) method. In order to suppress the chaotic behavior in gyroscope system, the sliding mode controller (SMC) is used and guaranteed the stability of the system from chaotic motion to periodic motion. Numerical simulations are shown to verify the results. The proposed DT method and controlling scheme provide an effective means of gaining insights into the nonlinear dynamics and controlling of gyroscope systems.  相似文献

A method for estimating the three-dimensional (3D) footprint of a 16.9R38 pneumatic tyre was developed. The method was based on measured values of contact pressure at the soil–tyre interface and wheel contact length determined from the contact pressures and the depths and widths of ruts formed in the soil. The 3D footprint was investigated in an area of the field where the pressure sensors of the tyre passed in a soft clay soil. The tyre was instrumented with six miniature pressure sensors, three on the lug face and the remaining three on the under-tread region between two lugs. The instrumented tyre was run at a constant forward speed of 0.27 m/s and 23% slip on a soft soil, 0.48 MPa cone index, 25.6% d.b. moisture content for four wheel load and tyre pressure combination treatments. The 3D footprint assessment derived from soil–tyre interface stress used in this research is a unique methodology, which could precisely relate the trend profile of the 3D footprint to the measured rut depth. The tyre–soil interface contact pressure distributions results showed that as inflation pressure increased the soil strength increased significantly near the centre of the tyre as a compaction increase sensed with the cone penetrometer.  相似文献
