本文指出如果Josephson结处在Q值足够高的谐振腔内,当Josephson频率ω=(2eV0)/h与谐振腔的本征频率ωr发生谐振时,谐振的电磁场对Josephson结自身的反馈作用将导致超流电流在一个磁通量子内随磁场的小周期振荡。 关键词:  相似文献

以SBKJC为基组,采用密度泛函PBE0方法研究了不同外电场(0-0.030 a.u.)对(ZnSe)_(12)的基态几何结构、电荷分布、能量、电偶极矩、能隙、最小振动频率的影响;继而采用含时的TD-PBE0方法研究了(ZnSe)_(12)在外电场下的激发特性,并模拟了紫外-可见光谱.研究结果表明:外电场的加入导致分子对称性降低,当电场从0 a.u.变化到0.030 a.u.时,偶极矩逐渐增加,体系总能量、最小谐振频率和能隙一直减小.外电场对(ZnSe)_(12)的激发特性影响较大,随着电场的增加,紫外-可见光谱发生红移,同时对振子强度有很大影响,原来振子强度不为零的激发态变弱或成为禁阻跃迁,而原来振子强度很弱或禁阻的激发态变得很强.可以通过改变外电场来改变(ZnSe)_(12)的基态性质,以及控制(ZnSe)_(12)的吸收和发光特性.  相似文献

The dispersive characteristics of higher order mode Lamb waves (HOMLW) excited by interdigital transducers (IDT) are measured and analyzed, which are necessary for designing micro-sensor in ultrahigh frequency (UHF). A measurement system is set up, in which dispersive characteristics of HOMLW are obtained by the method of transform between frequency and time domains. The characteristics of amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency of Lamb wave are auto-measured by the system. By IFFT, the pulse response of the IDT device was obtained. Different modes were separated in time domain and dispersive curve of each mode is calculated by FFT. The best mode is chosen to design the micro-sensor in UHF. The phase velocity of HOMLW is greater than the surface wave (SAW) velocity and an oscillator in higher frequency can be made, so the absolute sensitivity of micro-sensor can be increased. In this paper, the dispersive characteristics of HOMLW excited by an IDT in a 127.86 degrees rotated Y-cut, X propagating lithium niobate plate is analyzed. An oscillator using a(13) mode is made, the phase velocity of which is measured about 19,652 m/s when h/lambda=0.94 (h=plate thickness, lambda=wavelength).  相似文献

A system for measuring the absolute frequency of a far-infrared (FIR) laser is described. Josephson point contacts have been utilized in the system as a frequency harmonic mixer connecting microwaves and optically pumped CH3OH laser lines. The Josephson point contacts are capable of generating beat signals of 90 GHz microwaves and FIR waves of up to 4.25 THz. To measure the frequency of the beat signals from the Josephson junction with a frequency counter, tracking oscillators have been developed, which tracks the beat signals by phase locking and regenerate clean signals for frequency counting. It is shown that the absolute frequency can be measured to an accuracy of about 100 Hz by using the tracking oscillators.  相似文献

Selective measurements of the states are studied for a single quantum system, viz, a Josephson qubit, by a nonlinear oscillator operating in the mesoscopic regime in which the number of quanta during measurements is varied from a few dozen to several hundreds. The quantum Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the dissipative dynamics of the qubit–oscillator system and the process of measurements of the qubit states from the change in the number of oscillator quanta. It is shown that for π-pulses in the recording of qubit states, discrimination of states is possible in single realizations (measurements), while statistical projective measurements can be made for the prepared superposition state.  相似文献

An extended Josephson junction can be described as a microwave cavity coupled to a Josephson oscillator. This is formally equivalent to a Fabry-Perot cavity with a freely vibrating mirror, where it has been shown that radiation pressure from photons in the cavity can reduce (increase) the vibrations of the mirror, effectively cooling (heating) it. We demonstrate that, similarly, the superconducting phase difference across a Josephson junction-the Josephson phase-can be "cooled" or "heated" by microwave excitation of the junction and that both these effects increase with microwave power.  相似文献

The probabilities of transitions between the Fock states of two electromagnetic field modes under the influence of coupling between modes of finite duration are investigated. It is shown that the transition probability is a strongly oscillating function of the mode numbers of the photons. Under conditions in which the coupling frequency exceeds the geometric mean of the mode frequencies (strong coupling), large numbers of photons are excited in the mode with the lower frequency. The excitation of a two-dimensional radiation field oscillator and the “red” asymmetry of the transition probabilities can be attributed to instability of the classical two-dimensional oscillator with strong mode coupling. Some characteristics of energy flow in colliding molecular systems vibrationally excited by laser radiation are discussed. Among these is the fact that the rotational structure of the pumped vibrational level tends to thermalize via fast R-T transfer during the pump pulse. It can be shown that the amount of molecules being excited depends strongly on the translational temperature and the pump line chosen, an effect which is important for V - V pumping schemes. It is further possible to generate partial and total vibrational inversion in such systems. Chosing the hydrogen fluoride molecule as our model system we present computations and experiments which are in good agreement. The results obtained seem to be generalizable for other molecules as well.  相似文献

A superconducting single-electron transistor (SSET) coupled to an anharmonic oscillator, e.g., a Josephson junction-L-C circuit, can drive the latter to a nonequilibrium photon-number distribution. By biasing the SSET at the Josephson quasiparticle cycle, cooling of the oscillator as well as a laserlike enhancement of the photon number can be achieved. Here, we show that the cutoff in the quasiparticle tunneling rate due to the superconducting gap, in combination with the anharmonicity of the oscillator, may create strongly squeezed photon-number distributions. For low dissipation in the oscillator, nearly pure Fock states can be produced.  相似文献

A previous study in which the optical parametric oscillator (OPO) has been shown to provide a light source suitable for intracavity absorption spectroscopy, is extended to difference frequency generation. The following experimental situation is discussed: in a nonlinear material an incident monochromatic pump wave, together with an incident many-mode idler wave, creates a many-mode wave at the difference frequency (signal wave) which is made to resonate in a cavity. The latter contains an absorbing medium whose absorption line is smaller than the signal bandwidth. For this device, the enhancement factor ξ is calculated. Large values of ξ can be expected only for pump powers which exceed the threshold value for optical parametric oscillation. Otherwise, the enhancement will be due only to the resonator effect.  相似文献

The current flowing across a semiconductor superlattice in tilted electric and magnetic fields is known to exhibit resonant enhancement, when Landau states of neighboring wells align at certain ratios of the field strengths. We show that the ultrafast version of this effect, in which coherent electron wave packets are involved, has a profound analogy to the Fiske effect in superconductor Josephson junctions and superfluid weak links, in that the coupling of the tunneling-induced charge oscillations (magneto-Bloch versus Josephson oscillations) to another oscillator (in-plane cyclotron oscillations versus external oscillator modes) opens an elastic rectifying transport channel. We explore the superlattice effect both theoretically and experimentally, and find that the transient self-induced current can be adequately modeled if the damping of both types of coupled electron oscillations is properly taken into account.  相似文献

The design of a high temperature cell appropriate for electron beam side pumping of alkali excimer lasers is described. By using the cell, an amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) and small signal gain coefficient of 4% cm-1 of the K2 yellow band (574 nm) were observed from the e beam excited mixture of K/K2 vapor with argon buffer gas. The dissociative recombination of K+3 is discussed as an efficient formation process of upper states by electron beam pumping.It has demonstrated the feasibility of a β-BaB2O4 optical parametric oscillator(OPO) without frequency control elements that produces very narrow bandwidth, 10 ns pulses via injection seeding. It was achieved by a CW He Ne laser and the experiment threshold for injection seeding is less than 1 mW. With 25 mJ pump energy at 354.7 nm, it has obtained pulse energy of 2 mJ at 632.8 nm and the total effiency is greater than 15%.  相似文献

The processes of parametric amplification and oscillation in a medium with cubic polarization is investigated in parametric approximation. For the case of amplification the threshold power of the pump wave is calculated. The influence of a finite phase mismatching and of the initial phases on the amplification process is discussed. For larger values of mismatching a periodical change between amplification and depletion may appear. For the cases of a single resonant oscillator (for the signal wave only), a double resonant oscillator (for both signal and idler wave) and a double resonant oscillator with the pump wave reflected at the second mirror the threshold power of the pump wave and the rise time are calculated. Characteristic differences between four-photon and three-photon parametric oscillators are discussed. A numerical estimation of the threshold power for some media with nonlinear susceptibilities known from literature leads to the conclusion that the realization of a four-photon parametric oscillator should be possible. In the appendix we discuss the influence of diffraction, focussing, birefrigence, nonstationarity and depletion of the pump wave on the studied process as well as the conditions under which these effects can be neglected.  相似文献

构建了掺镱大模场面积单偏振光子晶体光纤飞秒激光非线性放大系统. 讨论了腔内净色散量和抽运功率对振荡级输出参数的影响和振荡级参数对放大级输出参数的影响. 在本实验条件下, 当腔内净色散量取较大负色散时, 振荡级直接输出的脉冲更宽, 且携带更少的啁啾. 当振荡级抽运4.53 W时, 选择最接近变换极限的脉冲作为种子脉冲, 放大级在60 W抽运时输出压缩后无基底的短脉冲, 宽度为45.7 fs, 平均功率28 W. 振荡级抽运功率增加到5.08 W, 放大级抽运70 W时, 获得最高输出功率34.5 W, 对应脉宽53.5 fs.  相似文献

We report on the successful terahertz emission (0.6-1 THz) that is continuous and tunable in its frequency and power, by driving Josephson vortices in resonance with the collective standing Josephson plasma modes excited in stacked Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+x intrinsic Josephson junctions. Shapiro-step detection was employed to confirm the terahertz-wave emission. Our results provide a strong feasibility of developing long-sought solid-state terahertz-wave emission devices.  相似文献

This paper describes the effect of pump waves misalignement on the performance of the semilinear photorefractive coherent oscillator with the reflection gratings. The oscillation intensity and its modulation frequency are calculated numerically for different misalignement angles, coupling strengths and pump intensity ratios. It is shown that a small angular detuning of the pump wave, less than one milliradian, extends the range of pump ratios and the range of coupling strengths for which a non-degenerate oscillation occurs. The results of experiments with the BaTiO3-based semilinear oscillator are in qualitative agreement with the calculated data.  相似文献

Subharmonics are often observed in ultrasonic infrared thermography (UIR) system as samples are excited by ultrasonic transducers, and it is testified that, as the subharmonics appear, the detectability of cracks or defects in the sample is greatly enhanced in the UIR system. A dynamical model to explore the generation mechanism of the subharmonics and simulate the sample motion excited by an ultrasonic transducer in the UIR system is presented in this paper. In the model, the sample is continuously impacted by the transducer as the transducer is pushed to the sample by a constant force, in which the sample is simplified as a damped oscillator and the transducer is simplified as an active oscillator with constant frequency and amplitude. The impact process is also taken into account, in which the acting force is assumed to vary linearly during the impact process. A stable waveform of subharmonics in the sample can be obtained in appropriate conditions.  相似文献

Studies on Josephson samplers are reviewed. The dynamic properties of Josephson junctions used as sensitive comparators in the samplers are analyzed. A theory in terms of which the time resolution and sensitivity of Josephson comparators can be estimated is put forward, and analytical formulas for the limiting characteristics of the samplers are derived. The performance of Josephson samplers based on high-temperature superconductors is discussed. It is shown that samplers with a subpicosecond resolution and nanoampere sensitivity are a feasibility.  相似文献

We find that a temperature differential can drive superfluid oscillations in 4He. The oscillations are excited by a heater which causes a time dependent temperature differential across an array of 70 nm apertures. By measuring the oscillation frequency and simultaneously determining both temperature and pressure differentials we prove the validity of the most general form of the Josephson frequency relation. These observations were made near saturated vapor pressure, within a few mK of the superfluid transition temperature.  相似文献

The behavior of an anharmonic quantum oscillator in a harmonic external electric field is examined. The quasienergy is calculated numerically as a function of the field parameters (intensity and frequency) for highly excited states. It depends in complex fashion on frequency and field intensity near resonance. Quasi-intersection of levels is observed in a broad range of quantum numbers. These effects are manifestations of dynamic chaos in highly excited states of an anharmonic oscillator in an external field. Omsk State University.
