A time-symmetric formulation of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics is developed by applying two consecutive boundary conditions
onto solutions of a time- symmetrized wave equation. From known probabilities in ordinary quantum mechanics, a time-symmetric
parameter P0 is then derived that properly weights the likelihood of any complete sequence of measurement outcomes on a quantum system.
The results appear to match standard quantum mechanics, but do so without requiring a time-asymmetric collapse of the wavefunction

The existence and stability of defect superlattice solitons in parity-time (PT) symmetric superlattice and simplelattice complex potentials are reported.Compared with defect simple-lattice solitons in similar potentials,the defect soliton in superlattice has a wider stable range than that in simple-lattice.The solitons’ power increases with increasing propagation constant.For the positive defect,the solitons are stable in the whole region where solitons exist in the semi-infinite gap.For the zero defect,the solitons are unstable at the edge of the band.For the negative defect,the solitons propagate with the shape of Y at low propagation constant and propagate stably at the large one. 相似文献

We study the functional separation of variables to the nonlinear heat equation: ut = (A(x)D(u)ux^n)x+ B(x)Q(u), Ax≠0. Such equation arises from non-Newtonian fluids. Its functional separation of variables is studied by using the group foliation method. A classification of the equation which admits the functional separable solutions is performed. The relevance of inter-site Coulomb repulsion (V) in the hole-doped cuprates is explored within model. An exact diagonalization (ED) technique is employed to investigate some ground state and thermodynamic properties of the model for various hole-doping. Results show that electron-electron () correlation is maximum between the next-nearest-neighbor (NNN) sites which decreases sharply at distances longer than √2 times the lattice spacing. Unlike hole-concentration, Coulomb repulsion reduces effective hopping amplitude. Our results suggest that in this hole-doped system, inter-site Coulomb repulsion favors d-wave pairing. Specific heat curves show characteristic single broad peaks where the peak-height decreases with doping concentration. A simple mechanism of replica symmetry breaking for spin-glass, as suggested by Parisi, has been used to solve the anisotropic
spin-glass model of Sherrington and Ghatak. Temperature variation of the correlation parameters and the resulting variations
with the temperature of the thermodynamic quantities like internal energy, specific heat and entropy have been evaluated.
It is found that the anisotropy has considerable effect on the properties of the spin system. At low temperatures, the specific

In this paper, the magnetic and specific heat properties of polycrystalline MnCr2O4 were investigated, mainly by focusing on the spiral order transition around Ts. With increasing magnetic field, the magnetic anomaly around Ts in the M–T curve is gradually suppressed. However, an external magnetic field up to 5 T has no evident influence on the spiral magnetic transition as revealed by specific heat measurements. Upon cooling below Ts, AC susceptibility displays no frequency dependence, but the coercivity increases abruptly. Applying external pressure increases the coercivity at 5 K, implying the strengthening of the spiral order. It is suggested that with decreasing temperature across Ts, the spiral component develops in the direction perpendicular to the easy axis of the parent collinear ferri-magnetic phase and does not contribute to the saturation magnetization. 相似文献
