对于一个给定边界标号的加权三角剖分(T,θ)(θ∈[0,π/2]),通过构造(T,θ)的内部顶点上的能量函数,推出对应于内部顶点的标号向量是由它的锥向量唯一决定的.导出一个向量是锥向量当且仅当它满足锥向量不等式.通过证明所要求的圆模式决定的相关(T,θ)所有内部顶点的角总和向量满足锥向量不等式,得到在复平面上实现该加权三角剖分(T,θ)的平面单叶圆模式和有分枝圆模式的存在性和唯一性.这为圆模式的存在唯一性定理提供了一种新的证明方法.  相似文献

Warped cones were introduced by J. Roe in Geometry Topol. 9 (2005) 163–178 where he discussed Property A of these spaces. In this paper, we discuss the coarse equivalence of warped cones on the circle with the -action by irrational rotations. First, we prove that two irrational numbers related by PSL(2, ) give coarsely equivalent warped cones. Second, we prove that there are at least countably many warped cones that are not coarsely equivalent to each other by using a ‘secondary growth function’.  相似文献

In a recent paper, Chua and Yi introduced the so-called uniform nonsingularity property for a nonlinear transformation on a Euclidean Jordan algebra and showed that it implies the global uniqueness property in the context of symmetric cone complementarity problems. In a related paper, Chua, Lin, and Yi raise the question of converse. In this paper, we show that, for linear transformations, the uniform nonsingularity property is inherited by principal subtransformations and, on simple algebras, it is invariant under the action of cone automorphisms. Based on these results, we answer the question of Chua, Lin, and Yi in the negative.  相似文献

In radio frequency (RF) applications, electric circuits produce signals including widely separated time scales. A multidimensional representation yields an efficient model by decoupling the time scales. Consequently, a warped multirate partial differential algebraic equation (MPDAE) describes the circuit's behaviour. The appropriate determination of an arising local frequency function is crucial for the efficiency of this approach. Variational calculus implies a necessary condition to a specific solution, which exhibits a minimal amount of oscillations in the whole domain of dependence. We apply a similar strategy to minimise oscillatory performance in some boundary values only. Now variational calculus yields a boundary condition, which can easily be used in numerical methods. In this article, we give a complete construction of geodesics in the space of Kähler cone metrics (cone geodesics), and we address the problem on the uniqueness of constant scalar curvature Kähler (cscK) cone metrics when the cone angle β stays in the whole interval (0, 1] . The part requires new weighted function spaces and new analytic techniques. We determine the asymptotic behavior of both cone geodesics and cscK cone metrics, prove the reductivity of the automorphism group, and establish the linear theory for the Lichnerowicz operator, which immediately implies the openness of the path deforming the cone angles of cscK cone metrics. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

It has been shown by Lemke that if a matrix is copositive plus on n , then feasibility of the corresponding linear complementarity problem implies solvability. In this article we show, under suitable conditions, that feasibility of ageneralized linear complementarity problem (i.e., defined over a more general closed convex cone in a real Hilbert space) implies solvability whenever the operator is copositive plus on that cone. We show that among all closed convex cones in a finite dimensional real Hilbert Space, polyhedral cones are theonly ones with the property that every copositive plus, feasible GLCP is solvable. In [5] Gottschalk comments that an interesting question is to find conditions under which pointwise recurrence in a transformation group (X,T) implies pointwise almost periodicity. In this paper we show that if in a transformation group (X,T), the phase space X is connected locally compact and Hausdorff and T is generative and each point xεX is of P-characteristic 0 for each replete semi-group P in T, then the existence of a single recurrent point implies that (X,T) is pointwise recurrent and each orbit closure is minimal. This implies of course from a general result of Gottschalk and Hedlund that the transformation group is pointwise almost periodic. The condition P-characteristic 0 is weaker than pointwise equicontinuity even when the phase space is compact--see example (4.6) at the end.  相似文献

An endomorphism h of a group G is said to be strong whenever for every congruence θ on G, (x, y) ∈ θ implies (h(x), h(y)) ∈ θ for every x, y ∈ G. A group G is said to have the strong endomorphism kernel property if every congruence on G is the kernel of a strong endomorphism. In this note, we study the strong endomorphism kernel property in the class of Abelian groups. In particular, we show that a finite Abelian group has the strong endomorphism kernel property if and only if it is cyclic.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the notion of generalized quasi-Einstein manifold that generalizes the concepts of Ricci soliton, Ricci almost soliton and quasi-Einstein manifolds. We prove that a complete generalized quasi-Einstein manifold with harmonic Weyl tensor and with zero radial Weyl curvature is locally a warped product with (n ? 1)-dimensional Einstein fibers. In particular, this implies a local characterization for locally conformally flat gradient Ricci almost solitons, similar to that proved for gradient Ricci solitons.  相似文献

In this paper we study eigenvalues of a clamped plate problem on compact domains in complete manifolds. For complete manifolds admitting special functions, we prove universal inequalities for eigenvalues of clamped plate problem independent of the domains of Payne?CPólya?CWeinberger?CYang type. These manifolds include Hadamard manifolds with Ricci curvature bounded below, a class of warped product manifolds, the product of Euclidean spaces with any complete manifolds and manifolds admitting eigenmaps to a sphere. In the case of warped product manifolds, our result implies a universal inequality on hyperbolic space proved by Cheng?CYang. We also strengthen an inequality for eigenvalues of clamped plate problem on submanifolds in a Euclidean space obtained recently by Cheng, Ichikawa and Mametsuka.  相似文献

Warped product manifolds are known to have applications in Physics. For instance, they provide an excellent setting to model space-time near a black hole or a massive star (cf. [HONG, S. T.: Warped products and black holes, Nuovo Cimento Soc. Ital. Fis. B 120 (2005), 1227–1234]). The studies on warped product manifolds with extrinsic geometric point of view are intensified after B. Y. Chen’s work on CR-warped product submanifolds of Kaehler manifolds. Later on, similar studies are carried out in the setting of Sasakian manifolds by Hasegawa and Mihai. As Kenmotsu manifolds are themselves warped product spaces, it is interesting to investigate warped product submanifolds of Kenmotsu manifolds. In the present note a larger class of warped product submanifolds than the class of contact CR-warped product submanifolds is considered. More precisely the existence of warped product submanifolds of a Kenmotsu manifold with one of the factors an invariant submanifold is ensured, an example of such submanifolds is provided and a characterization for a contact CR-submanifold to be a contact CR-warped product submanifold is established.  相似文献
