The reactive uptake kinetics of ClONO(2) on pure and doped water-ice surfaces have been studied using a coated wall flow tube reactor coupled to an electron impact mass spectrometer. Experiments have been conducted on frozen film ice surfaces in the temperature range 208-228 K with P((ClONO)(2)) < or = 10(-6) Torr. The uptake coefficient (gamma) of ClONO(2) on pure ice was time dependent with a maximum value of gamma(max) approximately 0.1. On HNO(3)-doped ice at 218 K the gamma(max) was 0.02. HOCl formation was detected in both experiments. On HCl-doped ice, uptake was gas-phase diffusion limited (gamma > 0.1) and gas-phase Cl(2) was formed. The uptake of HCl on ice continuously doped with HNO(3) was reversible such that there was no net uptake of HCl once the equilibrium surface coverage was established. The data were well described by a single site 2-species competitive Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The surface coverage of HCl on HNO(3)-doped ice was an order of magnitude lower than on bare ice for a given temperature and P(HCl). ClONO(2) uptake on this HCl/HNO(3)-doped ice was studied as a function of P(HCl). gamma(max) was no longer gas-phase diffusion limited and was found to be linearly dependent on the surface concentration of HCl. Under conditions of low HCl surface concentration, hydrolysis of ClONO(2) and reaction with HCl were competing such that both Cl(2) and HOCl were formed. A numerical model was used to simulate the experimental results and to aid in the parametrization of ClONO(2) reactivity on cirrus ice clouds in the upper troposphere.  相似文献

Adlayers of ZnOEP were prepared on reconstructed Au(100)-(hex) and unreconstructed Au(100)-(1 x 1) surfaces by immersing into a benzene solution containing ZnOEP molecules, and the adlayer structures were characterized by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). A hexagonally arranged ZnOEP array was formed on an Au(100)-(hex) surface, whereas a rectangularly arranged ZnOEP array was found on an Au(100)-(1 x 1) surface. The adlayer structure of ZnOEP was dependent upon the underlying Au atomic arrangements. Furthermore, an investigation of the spuramolecular assembly for these modified surfaces was carried out by using an open-cage C(60) derivative (opened C(60)). A supramolecular assembled adlayer with a 1:1 composition of opened C(60)/ZnOEP was formed on Au(100)-(hex), whereas aggregates of opened C(60) were found on the ZnOEP-modified Au(100)-(1 x 1) surface. Electrochemical responses of opened C(60) were significantly influenced by underlying ZnOEP arrays. This finding suggests that precise control of underlying ZnOEP adlayers with the Au atomic structure is important to recognize the opened C(60) on them.  相似文献

The adsorption of poly(tert-butylmethacrylate)-block-poly(2-(dimethylamino-ethyl) methacrylate) (PtBUMA-b-PDMAEMA) was studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) analysis performed on dried samples. The copolymer was dissolved in toluene at concentrations below (0.01 wt%) and above (0.05 and 1 wt%) the CMC; silicon (SiOH) and CH(3)-grafted silicon (SiCH(3)) were used as substrates. Whatever the concentration and the substrate, a layer of individual copolymer molecules, 1.5-3 nm thick, formed rapidly. The adsorbed amount was slightly higher and the resistance to AFM tip scraping was stronger on SiOH than on SiCH(3). This is attributed to hydrogen bonding between the PDMAEMA block and the OH groups of the silicon surface, leading to polarization of the adsorbed layer. Above the CMC, on SiOH, randomly scattered dot-like features (about 5 nm high) observed by AFM were attributed to individual micelles, which were not displaced by drying. On SiCH(3), the particles found on the top of the adsorbed layer were micelle aggregates, about 50 nm thick, the lateral size of which was strongly influenced by the rate of drying. This further difference between SiCH(3) and SiOH is tentatively attributed to the exposure of PDMAEMA by the adsorbed layer formed on SiCH(3), while only PtBUMA would be exposed by the layer adsorbed on SiOH. The red blood cell shape and the size of the micelles observed in single layers indicate that the PtBUMA corona was not made compact as a result of drying.  相似文献

Electrochemical deposition of metals (platinum or gold) only on top of an organothiolate, 1,4-benzenedimethanethiol (BDMT) or hexanedithiol (HDT), self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on a Au(111) substrate was achieved by electrochemical reduction of PtCl(4)(2-) or AuCl(4)(-) ion, which was preadsorbed on one free thiol end group of the dithiol SAM formed on a Au surface, in a metal-ion-free sulfuric acid solution at potentials more negative than the reduction potential of the metal ion. Angle-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (AR-XPS) measurement after the reduction of preadsorbed PtCl(4)(2-) ion on BDMT/Au(111) electrode showed the presence of Pt not underneath but on top of the BDMT SAM. After a negative potential scan of the Pt/BDMT/Au(111) electrode to -1.30 V in 0.1 M KOH solution, a typical cyclic voltammogram of a clean Au(111) electrode was obtained, showing that the BDMT SAM with a Pt layer was reductively desorbed. These results proved that a Pt-BDMT SAM-Au substrate sandwich structure without a short circuit between the two metals was successfully constructed by this technique. Furthermore, a decanethiol (DT) monolayer was constructed on a Au layer, which was formed by the reduction of preadsorbed AuCl(4)(-) ion on HDT/Au(111) electrode. The formation of DT/Au/HDT/Au(111) structure was confirmed as two cathodic peaks corresponding to reductive desorption of DT from Au on top of the HDT/Au(111) at -0.97 V and that of Au/ HDT from Au(111) at -1.12 V were observed when potential was scanned negatively to -1.35 V.  相似文献

Two-component adlayers consisting of cobalt(II) phthalocyanine (CoPc) and a metalloporphyrin such as 5,10,15,20-tetraphenyl-21H,23H-porphine copper(II) (CuTPP), 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethyl-21H,23H-porphine copper(II) (CuOEP), or 5,10,15,20-tetraphenyl-21H,23H-porphine cobalt(II) (CoTPP) were prepared by immersing either an Au(111) or Au(100) substrate in a benzene solution containing those molecules. The mixed adlayers thus prepared were investigated in 0.1 M HClO4 by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and in situ scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). The composition of the mixed adlayer consisting of CoPc and CuTPP molecules was found to vary with immersion time. CoPc molecules displaced CuTPP molecules during the modification process with increasing immersion time, and the CuTPP molecules were completely displaced by CoPc molecules in the mixed solution after a prolonged modification time, during which the underlying Au(100) substrate underwent phase transition from the reconstructed (hex) lattice to the unreconstructed (1 x 1) lattice. The two-component adlayer of CoPc and CuTPP was found to form a supramolecular adlayer with the constituent molecules arranged alternately on Au(100)-(hex). The striped structure was stable on Au(100)-(hex) at or near the open circuit potential (OCP), whereas the mixed adlayer was disordered on Au(100)-(1 x 1) at potentials more positive than OCP, where the phase transition of the arrangement of underlying Au atoms (i.e., the lifting of reconstruction) was induced electrochemically. A similar two-component supramolecular adlayer consisting of CoPc and CuTPP was formed on Au(111). A highly ordered, compositionally disordered adlayer of CoTPP and CuTPP was formed on Au(100)-(hex), suggesting that the adlayer structure is independent of the coordinated central metal ion for the formation of supramolecular nanostructures composed of those molecules. A supramolecular organization of CoPc and CuOEP was also found on Au(111). The surface mobility and the molecular reorganization of CoPc and CuOEP on Au(111) were tuned by modulation of the electrode potential. It is concluded that molecular assemblies of the two-component structure consisting of phthalocyanine and porphyrin were controlled not only by the crystallographic orientation of Au but also by the modulation of electrochemical potential.  相似文献

Synchrotron-based high-resolution photoemission was used to study the adsorption and chemistry of SO(2) on AuCeO(2)(111) and AuO(x)CeO(2) surfaces. The heat of adsorption of the molecule on Au nanoparticles supported on stoichiometric CeO(2)(111) was 4-7 kcalmol larger than on Au(111). However, there was negligible dissociation of SO(2) on the AuCeO(2)(111) surfaces. The full decomposition of SO(2) was observed only after introducing O vacancies in the ceria support. AuO(x)CeO(2) surfaces were found to be much less chemically active than AuCeO(2)(111) or AuCeO(2-x)(111) surfaces. The active sites in {Au + AuO(x)}ceria catalysts should involve pure gold nanoparticles in contact with O vacancies.  相似文献

Two-component adlayers consisting of zinc(II) phthalocyanine (ZnPc) and a metalloporphyrin, such as zinc(II) octaethylporphyrin (ZnOEP) or zinc(II) tetraphenylporphyrin (ZnTPP), were prepared by immersing either an Au(111) or Au(100) substrate in a benzene solution containing those molecules. The bimolecular adlayers thus prepared were investigated in 0.1 M HClO4 by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (EC-STM). A supramolecularly organized "chessboard" structure was formed for the ZnPc and ZnOEP bimolecular array on Au(111), while characteristic nanohexagons were found in the ZnTPP and ZnOEP bimolecular adlayer. EC-STM revealed that the surface mobility and the molecular re-organization of ZnPc and ZnOEP on Au(111) were tunable by manipulating the electrode potential, whereas the ZnTPP and ZnOEP bimolecular array was independent of the electrode potential. A "bottom-up" hybrid assembly of fullerene molecules was formed successfully on an alternate array of bimolecular ZnPc and ZnOEP molecules. The bimolecular "chessboard" served as a template to form the supramolecular assembly of C60 by selective trapping in the open spaces. A supramolecular organization of ZnPc and ZnOEP was also found on the reconstructed Au(100)-(hex) surface. A highly ordered, compositionally disordered but alternate array of ZnPc and ZnOEP was formed on the reconstructed Au(100)-(hex) surface, indicating that the bimolecular adlayer structure is dependent on the atomic arrangement of underlying Au in the formation of supramolecular nanostructures composed of those molecules. On the bimolecular array consisting of ZnPc and ZnOEP on the Au(100)-(hex), no highly ordered supramolecular assembly of C60 was found, suggesting that the supramolecular assembly of C60 molecules is strongly dependent upon the bimolecular packing arrangement of ZnPc and ZnOEP.  相似文献

A highly sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of L-cysteine based on its inhibitory action on hemoglobin (Hb) activity was developed. The optimal conditions were studied. A linear calibration graph was obtained over the range 2.00 x 10(-7)-1.50 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) for L-cysteine. The relative standard derivation was 1.30% at L-cysteine concentration of 8.00 x 10(-7) mol l(-1) (n=11). Further experimental results revealed that the inhibition of L-cysteine on this system was of the competitive type. The method was applied to determine L-cysteine in protein hydrolysate and cystine electrolyte samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was aminolyzed with 1,6‐diaminohexane (DAH) and then sialic acid (NANA) was immobilized via amidation onto the surface. The surface concentration of NANA was determined by 2‐thiobarbituric acid (TBA) test. The hemocompatibility of the resulting PET fabrics was evaluated based on complete blood count (CBC), coagulating times, and protein adsorption. The ability to remove lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was also determined. In addition, the effect of contacting NANA‐immobilizing PET on the suppression of reactive oxygen species (ROS) production was measured by the chemiluminescence (CL) method. The results show that by immobilizing NANA onto PET, the adhesion of platelet (PLt) was reduced, and oxidative stress was suppressed. The level of LPS was also greatly reduced. The effects of hydrogen peroxide on the electrochemical decomposition of layer-by-layer thin films composed of 2-iminobiotin-labeled poly(ethyleneimine) (ib-PEI) and avidin were studied. An ib-PEI/avidin thin film prepared on the surface of a platinum (Pt) film-coated quartz resonator was electrochemically decomposed in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) in the solution. The resonant frequency of the thin-film-deposited quartz resonator was increased upon application of electric potential (0.4-0.6 V vs Ag/AgCl) to the Pt layer, suggesting that the mass on the quartz resonator was decreased as a result of decomposition of the ib-PEI/avidin film. It was found that decomposition of the film is highly accelerated in the presence of H(2)O(2) compared to the decomposition in the same buffer solution without H(2)O(2), due to a pH change originating from electrochemical oxidation of H(2)O(2) on the Pt surface. The rate of electrochemical decomposition of the ib-PEI/avidin film was highly dependent on the concentration of H(2)O(2,) buffer capacity, and pH of the solution.  相似文献

UB3LYP/6-31G(d) and ROMP2/6-311++G(d,2p) methods were used to calculate the Si-X bond dissociation energies (BDEs) of a number of para-substituted aromatic silanes (4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)X, where X = H, F, Cl, or Li). It was found that the substituent effect on the Si-H BDE of 4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(3) was small, as the slope (rho(+)()) of the BDE- regression was only 0.09 kJ/mol. In comparison, the substituent effect on the Si-F BDE of 4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)F was much stronger, whose rho(+ )()value was -2.34 kJ/mol. The substituent effect on the Si-Cl BDE of 4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)Cl was also found to be strong with a rho(+)() value of -1.70 kJ/mol. However, the substituent effect on the Si-Li BDE of 4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)Li was found to have a large and positive slope (+9.12 kJ/mol) against. The origin of the above remarkably different substituent effects on the Si-X BDEs was found to be associated with the ability of the substituent to stabilize or destabilize the starting material (4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)X) as well as the product (4-Y-C(6)H(4)-SiH(2)* radical) of the homolysis. Therefore, the direction and magnitude of the effects of Y-substituents on the Z-X BDEs in compounds such as 4-YC(6)H(4)Z-X should have some important dependence on the polarity of the Z-X bond undergoing homolysis. This conclusion was in agreement with that from earlier studies (for example, J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1991, 113, 9363). However, it indicated that the proposal from a recent work (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2001, 123, 5518) was unfortunately not justified.  相似文献

Sorption extraction of anionic surfactants NaDDS and NaDBS on freshly formed iron(III) and aluminum(III) hydroxides and on a highly dispersed activated carbon of OU-B brand was experimentally studied. It was shown that NaDDS is the most fully sorbed on Al(OH)3 and OU-B, whereas on Fe(OH)3, the maximum sorption is observed for NaDBS. The electroflotation extraction of anionic surfactants and poorly soluble iron(III) and aluminum(III) hydroxides was examined and the influence exerted by the following factors (pH, nature of electrolyte, surfactant concentration) on the degree of extraction of these substances was analyzed. In addition, electroflotation extraction of OU-B in the presence on nonferrous metal hydroxides and surfactants of varied nature from aqueous solutions was performed. The results obtained were used to develop a technological scheme for electroflotation of complex-composition wastewater.  相似文献

A dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cell(DYSC) was assembled, of which counter electrode was modified already by platinum, nickel and carbon. It was found that the DYSC had better photoelectric performance when the electrode was modified by platinum than by nickel and carbon. The influence of the incidence light wavelength on the incidence monochromatic photoelectric conversion effieieney(IPCE) was investigated.The result shows that the IPCE mainly depends on the short-circuit current density(Isc) of a DYSC, and the IPCE reaches 48.32% under the irradiation with the wavelength of 560 nm when the counter electrode of a DYSC was modified by platinum. The influence of incident light intensity on the photoelectric properties of a DYSC was also investigated. It was found that the Isc and open-circuit voltage(Voc) increased and the fill factor(ff) of the DYSC decreased with the increase of the incident light intensity.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of three one-dimensional coordination polymers formed on self-assembly of 2,3-diarylpyrazines with silver(I) salts are presented. A linear double-stranded coordination polymer was formed on self-assembly of 2,3-bis(3'5'-dimethylphenyl)pyrazine with silver(I) tetrafluoroborate. An essentially linear double-strand coordination polymer was formed on self-assembly of 2,3-bis(3'5'-dimethylphenyl)pyrazine with silver(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate. In contrast a helical silver-pyrazine coordination polymer with extensive intrastrand pi-stacking was formed on self-assembly of 2,3-diphenylpyrazine with silver(I) trifluoroacetate.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe atomic force microscope (AFM) friction experiments on different polymers. The aim was to analyze the influence of the physical architecture of the polymer on the degree and mode of wear and on the wear mode. Experiments were carried out with (1) linear polystyrene (PS) and cycloolefinic copolymers of ethylene and norbornene, which are stabilized by entanglements, (2) mechanically stretched PS, (3) polyisoprene-b-polystyrene diblock copolymers, with varying composition, (4) brush polymers consisting of a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) backbone and PS side chains, (5) PMMA and PS brushes grafted from a silicon wafer, (6) plasma-polymerized PS, and (7) chemically cross-linked polycarbonate. For linear polymers, wear depends critically on the orientation of the chains with respect to the scan direction. With increasing cross-link density, wear was reduced and ripple formation was suppressed. The cross-linking density was the dominating material parameter characterizing wear.  相似文献

用气相流动吸附法制备复合载体,用浸渍法制备WO3/(TiO2-S iO2)催化剂.应用LRS和TPR技术研究WO3在复合载体TIO2-S iO2表面的分散状态,发现TiO2在S iO2表面的分散可增强WO3与载体之间的相互作用,提高WO3在载体表面的分散阈值.另外TPR实验证明,TiO2的存在不仅大大改善WO3的分散状态,而且使WO3在TiO2-S iO2的还原温度升高,WO3与载体之间的作用增强.负载于经TiO2调变的S iO2上的催化剂其HDS、HYD、BHD活性高于负载于单纯S iO2上的催化剂的活性.  相似文献

In this paper, the polymerization of styrene initiated by potassium (K)-tetrahydrofuran (THF)-graphite intercalation compound (GIC) (K-THF-GIC) was studied. The mechanism of the polymerization was determined to be anionic polymerization according to its characteristics. The effect of the concentration of the initiator and monomer was studied. It was found that the polymerization mainly occurred on the surface and edge of the intercalated graphite. It was also shown that the polarity of solvent has little effect on the polymerization yield in this system.  相似文献

以碳化钨(WC)粉末为电催化材料制成了碳化钨粉末微电极(WC-PME). 采用循环伏安和线性扫描等方法研究了酸性溶液中对硝基苯酚(PNP)在WC-PME上的电还原行为. 研究表明, 在相同测试条件下, PNP在WC-PME上电还原的电位比Cu-Hg微电极正得多;WC-PME对氢具有较强的吸附能力, 有利于有机物的电还原反应. PNP在WC-PME上和Pt微电极上的还原电位相近, 但在WC-PME上的峰电流比在Pt微电极上高5倍多, 这主要与WC粉末的结构形貌有关.  相似文献

通过电氧化法将ABS分子以CN键共价键合在玻碳电极(GCE)表面,形成ABS分子单层膜修饰的GCE(ABS/GCE),在此电极上对AN进行电聚合,从而制备了聚苯胺/邻氨基苯磺酸复合膜修饰电极(PAN-ABS/GCE/CME).由于ABS中磺酸基功能团对PAN的掺杂作用使PAN在中性或碱性介质中都能呈现出较好的电化学活性.研究表明,PAN-ABS/GCE/CME在PBS(pH 6.8)中对AA的电氧化具有催化作用,其氧化峰电位为0.17 V,比在裸GCE上(0.39 V)负移了0.22 V,峰电流明显升高.AA在修饰电极上的氧化峰电流与其浓度在0.5~16.5 mmol/L范围内呈良好的线性关系,其线性回归方程为ipa(μA)=20.2+6.20CAA,r=0.9973; 检出限(3δ)为7.2 μmol/L,电极具有较好的稳定性和重现性.并采用计时电流法对AA催化氧化的扩散系数和催化速率常数进行了研究.  相似文献
