Double-differential cross sections of inclusive light-ion (p, d, t, 3He and α) production in carbon induced by 96 MeV neutrons have been measured at eight laboratory angles from 20° to 160° in steps of 20°. Experimental techniques, as well as procedures for data taking and data reduction, are presented. Deduced energy-differential and production cross sections are herewith reported. Experimental cross sections are compared with theoretical reaction model calculations and experimental data in the literature. The measured production cross sections for protons, deuterons, tritons, 3He, and α particles support the trends suggested by data at lower energies. Deduced partial kerma coefficients for carbon are also shown.  相似文献

Energy spectra of protons, deuterons and tritons produced on 12C by 545 MeV neutrons have been measured at 7 angles between 73° and 165°. The slopes of the invariant cross sections and absolute yields are compared to corresponding proton induced reactions at similar energies and angles.  相似文献

The results from analyzing the yields of protons (p), deuterons (d), and tritons (t) formed in the absorption of stopped π mesons by intranuclear clusters are presented. The contributions from cluster absorption to the production of hydrogen isotopes in stopped pion absorption reactions are determined. Phenomenological formulas are proposed for describing the mass number (A) dependences of the yields of the primary protons with ~15% precision in the mass number range of 6 < A < 209 (and of the primary deuterons and tritons in the mass number range of 59 < A < 209). Evidence is observed of the constancy of the ratio between the elemental absorption widths for the absorption of pions by pp and pn pairs over the investigated range of mass numbers.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the reactions 3He(γ, p)d and 4He(γ, p)t were measured at proton c.m. angles of 60° and 90° for photon energies ranging from 150–450 MeV with an average resolution of 8 MeV. Bremsstrahlung was used as the photon source; deuterons/tritons were analyzed in a magnetic spectrometer whereas coincident protons were detected in a plastic scintillator telescope. The experimental method includes a calibration by means of 1H(γ, π0)p differential cross section measurement at 90° c.m. in the same photon energy range. The 3He and 4He two-body photodisintegration differential cross sections show a monotonically decreasing variation with photon energy. In addition, partial data on the differential cross section of the reaction 4He(γ, n)τ at 90° and 120° neutron c.m. angle are given.  相似文献

The energy distributions and relative intensities of protons, deuterons, tritons and α-particles emitted along the fission axis during spontaneous fission of 252Cf were measured simultaneously with both fission fragment energies. The absolute intensity of particles, the mass distribution of fragments, the total kinetic energy and total excitation energy of both fragments were subsequently deduced from the experimental data. Statistical model calculations based on a hypothesis that the polar particles are evaporated from fission fragments have been performed for 252Cf and 236U fission. Although some experimental results agree remarkably well with the evaporation hypothesis, the considered model cannot describe many features of the polar emission phenomenon.  相似文献

The tensor asymmetry of exclusive π?-meson photoproduction on polarized deuterons was investigated. The T 20 and T 22 components of the reaction analyzing power contribute to the measured asymmetry. The detector made it possible to record two outgoing protons in coincidence in the range of polar angles θ1,2 = 44° ? 88° and in the momentum range p 1,2 = 350 ? 700 MeV c ?1. The measurements were performed at the VEPP-3 storage ring (Novosibirsk) using an internal target. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The production of pions, protons and deuterons is studied at a laboratory angle of 144° in 28Si+Pb collisions at 14.6 GeV/c per nucleon. The centrality dependence of the pion yields is studied over the full impact parameter range using a zero degree calorimeter. The results are compared with the hadronic cascade model RQMD. These calculations are generally in agreement with the experimental results. According to these calculations, the pion yield in our acceptance is completely dominated by Δ-decay at freeze-out. Our measurements thus support the importance of baryon resonance production as one of the central features of relativistic heavy ion collisions at AGS energies. Although the strength of the pion spectrum is adequately described for kinetic energies above 50 MeV, an additional very soft component is observed in the pion spectra which is not predicted by RQMD. This very soft component accounts for a significant fraction of the total pion yield in this rapidity range but remains unexplained.  相似文献

The (p, d) and (p, t) reactions on 92Mo have been studied at a proton energy of 28.0 MeV. Using an Enge split-pole spectrograph, resolutions of 11–15 keV for the detected deuterons and tritons were obtained. A total of 87 levels up to 4.9 MeV in 91Mo and 25 levels up to 4.0 MeV in 90Mo were found, several of which were previously unknown. By comparing the measured angular distributions with DWBA calculations l-values and spectroscopic factors were determined. The results are compared with data from previous experiments on 91Mo and 90Mo, with experiments on other N = 49 and 48 nuclei, and with theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Alpha particles, tritons, deuterons and protons accompanying 252Cf fission were registered in coincidence with both fission fragments by means of a system containing two-dimensional position-sensitive silicon detectors. Angular distributions, kinetic energy spectra of light charged particles as well as mass distributions of fission fragments in coincidence with light charged particles were measured. Angular distributions of protons, deuterons, tritons and alpha-particles emitted from the reactions in thed+9Be-system atE d =7 MeV as well as excitation functions at selected angles in the energy rangeE d =6.5–7.5 MeV (LAB) were measured. The potential part of the elastic scattering is described by the phenomenological optical model. The compound nucleus contribution to all exit channels is determined using the Hauser-Feshbach model. The collective excitation of the 2.43 MeV excited state of9Be and transfer processes are analysed within the DWBA formalism. The analyses suggest a significant contribution of five-nucleon transfer to the (d,4He) channel.  相似文献

The reaction175Hf(d, t)175Hf was studied using 12 MeV deuterons from the Florida State University super FN tandem Van de Graaff accelerator. The outgoing tritons were analyzed by means of a Browne-Buechner type broad range magnetic spectrograph. Twenty-four states in175Hf have been identified and fifteen states have been given wave function assignments on the basis of the spectroscopy associated with rotational band structure in deformed odd-A nuclei. TheQ-value for the reaction was measured to be ?1925±8 keV.  相似文献

An analysis of evaporated particles originating from the interaction of 32-GeV positrons with photoemulsion nuclei was performed. The yields of protons, deuterons, tritons, and alpha particles were measured, and the results were compared with evaporation-theory predictions. The energy spectra of protons, deuterons, and tritons agree with a Maxwellian distribution. The excitation energy of photoemulsion nuclei complies with the theoretical estimate for the emission of these particles from the equilibrium state.  相似文献
