Design and Cold Tests of Asymmetric Quasioptical Resonators

This paper presents the design and test of asymmetric quasioptical resonators for gyrotron applications, where most of the diffraction output coupling comes from the smaller of two mirrors. A computer code based on scalar diffraction theory is used to calculate the resonator losses and the electric field near the mirrors. Resonators with mirror separations approaching confocal have reduced side lobes in the diffraction patterns, which should allow for better power transmission and focusing. Cold tests have been performed at 94 and 141 GHz to measure the quality factor of the asymmetric resonators as a function of mirror separation and mirror misalignment. Typical resonator parameters include 65 cm mirror separation, 1-3% output coupling and 85% of the losses from the small mirror. A half-symmetric resonator with one flat and one curved mirror has also been investigated. The calculated values of Q are in reasonably good agreement with the cold test measurements.

有Edgeworth展式的分布的随机加权逼近的重对数律

本文研究了未知分布的逼近问题，利用随机加权法，给出了有Edgeworth展式的一类（未知）分布的模拟分布，证明了在一定条件下，模拟分布与未知分布的逼近精度达到O(n^-1√lnlnn），称之为随机加权逼近的重对数律。     

CRT显示器稳定性实验研究

用屏幕色度计对一台SONY-G520显示器的显色特性进行了测量,研究了其开机稳定性和短、中、长期内的色差及色度偏差。实验结果表明,开机后,显示器的亮度Y和色度x,y分别可在2h,30min和1h达到相对稳定状态,且在达到相对稳定后,在短、中、长期内的平均色差分别为0.0611,0.1469和1.2536CIELAB色差单位;在中期内,Y,x,y,L,a,b的平均偏差分别为0.0663,0.0008,0.0015,0.0695,0.4740和0.1766。通过对显示器稳定性的测量,为在对比度敏感测量和色貌模型、图像质量、图像感知模型评价等研究领域中用显示器进行实验研究奠定了基础。     

On the S-procedure and Some Variants

We give a concise review and extension of S-procedure that is an instrumental tool in control theory and robust optimization analysis. Angular momenta and eigenvectors of the weakly coupled T ⊗ t Jahn‐Teller system

The eigenvalues of the weakly coupled T ? t Jahn‐Teller problem are known for several decades, and the same holds also true for the eigenstates. These, however, are only given in the traditional position representation, which proves inconvenient if one attempts to extend the weak‐coupling treatment into the region of stronger coupling. Here the solution of the T ? t eigenvalue problem at weak coupling is derived in terms of creation and annihilation operators. This reformulation of the problem is nontrivial, since the algebraic form of the oscillator eigenvectors, being simultaneous angular‐momentum eigenstates, has been worked out only recently and is probably still widely unknown. The electronic and oscillator eigenstates are then coupled to form eigenvectors of the total angular momentum. Finally, in preparation for an extension of the weak‐coupling treatment, the action of the boson creation and annihilation operators on the oscillator eigenvectors is calculated, thus completing the algebraic approach to the weakly coupled T ? t system.     

On the Evaluation of Uncertain Courses of Action

We consider the problem of decision making under uncertainty. The fuzzy measure is introduced as a general way of representing available information about the uncertainty. It is noted that generally in uncertain environments the problem of comparing alternative courses of action is difficult because of the multiplicity of possible outcomes for any action. One approach is to convert this multiplicity of possible of outcomes associated with an alternative into a single value using a valuation function. We describe various ways of providing a valuation function when the uncertainty is represented using a fuzzy measure. We then specialize these valuation functions to the cases of probabilistic and possibilistic uncertainty.

本文将马尔科夫跳跃过程叠加于 Ito过程 ,形成混合过程 ,并用该过程来刻画股价走势情况。而后在标的股价服从混合过程的基础上 ,推导出了欧式看涨期权的定价公式 ,并对美式看跌期权定价给出了有限元算法。
