In this paper, superconvergence of the lowest order Raviart-Thomas mixed finite element approximation for second order Neumann boundary value problem on fishbone shape meshes is analyzed. The main term of the error between the exact solution and the finite element interpolating function is determined by Bramble-Hilbert lemma on the individual finite element. A part of the main term of the error on two adjacent finite elements can be cancelled along the special direction, and thus the higher order error estimate is obtained on the whole domain by summation. Compared with the general finite element error estimate,the convergence rate can be increased from order one to order two in L2-norm by postprocessing superconvergence technique.  相似文献

We consider the regularity of a mixed boundary value problem for the Laplace operator on a polyhedral domain, where Ventcel boundary conditions are imposed on one face of the polyhedron and Dirichlet boundary conditions are imposed on the complement of that face in the boundary. We establish improved regularity estimates for the trace of the variational solution on the Ventcel face and use them to derive a decomposition of the solution into a regular and a singular part that belongs to suitable weighted Sobolev spaces. This decomposition, in turn, via interpolation estimates both in the interior as well as on the Ventcel face, allows us to perform an a priori error analysis for the finite element approximation of the solution on anisotropic graded meshes. 提出了一种基于非结构自适应网格的二维Euler方程的数值解法.采用有限体积法进行空间离散,通量计算采用Jamson中心格式,使得它适用于任意多边形计算单元.为了得到定常解,采用一种显式的四步Runge-Kutta迭代方法对时间进行积分.根据流场参数的变化梯度确定加密边,由加密准则进行自适应网格剖分,然后得到分布合理的加密过后的网格.求解二维Euler方程,对NACA0012翼型进行了数值模拟,通过对自适应前后的数值解的对比,说明所建立的方法是正确的.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to study the error estimates of a nonconforming finite element with some superconvergence results under anisotropic meshes. The anisotropic interpolation error and consistency error estimates are obtained by using some novel approaches and techniques, respectively. Furthermore, the superclose and a superconvergence estimate on the central points of elements are also obtained without the regularity assumption and quasi-uniform assumption requirement on the meshes. Finally, a numerical test is carried out, which coincides with our theoretical analysis.  相似文献

An all‐speed algorithm based on the SIMPLE pressure‐correction scheme and the ‘retarded‐density’ approach has been formulated and implemented within an unstructured grid, finite volume (FV) scheme for both incompressible and compressible flows, the latter involving interaction of shock waves. The collocated storage arrangement for all variables is adopted, and the checkerboard oscillations are eliminated by using a pressure‐weighted interpolation method, similar to that of Rhie and Chow [Numerical study of the turbulent flow past an airfoil with trailing edge separation. AIAA Journal 1983; 21 : 1525]. The solution accuracy is greatly enhanced when a higher‐order convection scheme combined with adaptive mesh refinement (AMR) are used. The methodis stabilized by penalizing the jumps of the solution and thoseof its advective derivative across mesh interfaces. The a priorierror analysis leads to (quasi-)optimal estimates in the meshsize (sub-optimal by order in the L2-norm and optimal in thebroken graph norm for quasi-uniform meshes) keeping the Pécletnumber fixed. Then, we investigate a residual a posteriori errorestimator for the method. The estimator is semi-robust in thesense that it yields lower and upper bounds of the error whichdiffer by a factor equal at most to the square root of the Pécletnumber. We study the optimal orders of (global and local) superconvergence in piecewise polynomial collocation on quasi-graded meshes for functional differential equations with (nonlinear) delays vanishing at t=0. It is shown that while for linear delays (e.g. proportional delays qt with 0<q<1) and certain nonlinear delays the classical optimal order results still hold, high degree of tangency with the identity function at t=0 leads not only to a reduction in the order of superconvergence but also to very serious difficulties in the actual computation of numerical approximations. In this paper, we will discuss the geometric‐based algebraic multigrid (AMG) method for two‐dimensional linear elasticity problems discretized using quadratic and cubic elements. First, a two‐level method is proposed by analyzing the relationship between the linear finite element space and higher‐order finite element space. And then a geometric‐based AMG method is obtained with the existing solver used as a solver on the first coarse level. The resulting AMG method is applied to some typical elasticity problems including the plane strain problem with jumps in Young's modulus. The results of various numerical experiments show that the proposed AMG method is much more robust and efficient than a classical AMG solver that is applied directly to the high‐order systems alone. Moreover, we present the corresponding theoretical analysis for the convergence of the proposed AMG algorithms. These theoretical results are also confirmed by some numerical tests.
