Porous sets that are Haar null, and nowhere approximately differentiable functions

We define a new notion of ``HP-small' set which implies that is both -porous and Haar null in the sense of Christensen. We show that the set of all continuous functions on which have finite unilateral approximate derivative at a point is HP-small, as well as its projections onto hyperplanes. As a corollary, the same is true for the set of all Besicovitch functions. Also, the set of continuous functions on which are Hölder at a point is HP-small.

     

Variational representations of Varadhan functionals

Motivated by the theory of large deviations, we introduce a class of non-negative non-linear functionals that have a variational ``rate function" representation.

     

On support points of univalent functions and a disproof of a conjecture of Bombieri

We consider the linear functional for on the set of normalized univalent functions in the unit disk and use the result to disprove a conjecture of Bombieri.

基于正弦和余弦函数的小波滤波器的统一解析构造

首次提出用正弦函数和余弦函数解析构造任意长度的紧支集正交小波滤波系数,首先给出了对N＝2k-1时（k个参数）的解析结构,其次给出了N＝2k时正交小波滤波器的统一构造方法,此后验证了著名的Daubechies小波滤波器的构成参数,并验证了一些被广泛的使用的著名小波分析滤波器,所有这些滤波器容易用一组参数直接计算出来,小波滤波器的解析构造使得在应用中动态选择小波基变得极基容易,这一结果必将在小波理论,应用数学及模式识别等领域产生十分重要的作用。     

G函数类及其应用

本文引进了抛物型 Ｇ函数类,并得到 Ｇ函数类的 Ｈǒｌｄｅｒ连续性． Ｇ函数类概念的引进,是为了证明散度型抛物型方程第一边值问题解的存在性和正则性．     

高维有噪频谱有限函数的外推

本文给出的定理既适合于一维与高维,又适合于有噪与无噪的频变有限函数的外推,是对Sanz-Huang两个猜想的改进,同时讨论了外推数与真函数的逼近关系。     

Converses of the Jensen inequality derived from the Green functions with applications in information theory

Jensen integral inequality has got much importance regarding their applications in different fields of mathematics. In this paper, two converses of Jensen integral inequality for convex function are obtained. The results are applied to establish converses of Hölder and Hermite-Hadamard inequalities as well. At the end, some useful applications in information theory of the obtained results are given. The idea used in this paper may inculcate further research.
