锥凸对称向量拟均衡问题解集的通有稳定性

在拓扑向量空间中,利用Ky Fan截口定理得到一个锥凸向量拟均衡问题弱Pareto解的存在性结果.作为该结果的应用,得到了一个对称向量拟均衡问题在支付映射为锥凸条件下弱Pareto解的存在性定理.该定理在较弱的条件下回答了Fu在文献[1]中提出的第二个问题,即在支付映射为锥凸且连续的条件下对称向量拟均衡问题的弱Pareto解是否存在.最后在赋范线性空间中研究了锥凸对称向量拟均衡问题弱Pareto解集的通有稳定性.     

环上的模糊理想幂格及其强截集诱导的格

给出了环上模糊理想幂格的概念,得到相关性质。进而由环上模糊理想强截集诱导出格,讨论了它不是分配格,但为模格。同时,将环上升为主理想环,得到了模糊理想乘积的强截集等于强截集的乘积,且都为环的理想。最后,讨论了Boolean环的模糊子集为模糊理想与其伴随构成交半格的关系。     

On Constacyclic Codes over Z_(p_1p_2…p_t)

Let t ≥ 2 be an integer, and let _(p_1, ···, p_t)be distinct primes. By using algebraic properties, the present paper gives a sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of non-trivial self-orthogonal cyclic codes over the ring Z_(p_1p_2···p_t)and the corresponding explicit enumerating formula. And it proves that there does not exist any self-dual cyclic code over Z_(p_1p_2···p_t).     

Global attractor for the Kirchhoff type equation with a strong dissipation

The paper studies the longtime behavior of the Kirchhoff type equation with a strong dissipation utt−M(‖∇u^‖2)Δu−Δut+h(ut)+g(u)=f(x). It proves that the related continuous semigroup S(t) possesses in the phase space with low regularity a global attractor which is connected. And an example is shown.     

Imaginary quadratic function fields

In Bautista-Ancona and Diaz-Vargas (2006) [B-D] a characterization and complete listing is given of the imaginary quadratic extensions K of k(x), where k is a finite field, in which the ideal class group has exponent two and the infinite prime of k(x) ramifies. The objective of this work is to give a characterization and list of these kind of extensions but now considering the case in which the infinite prime of k(x) is inert in K. Thus, we get all the imaginary quadratic extensions of k(x), in which the ideal class group has exponent two.     

An improvement on the positivity results for 2-stage explicit Runge-Kutta methods

In this paper, we investigate the positivity property for a class of 2-stage explicit Runge-Kutta (RK2) methods of order two when applied to the numerical solution of special nonlinear initial value problems (IVPs) for ordinary differential equations (ODEs). We also pay particular attention to monotonicity property. We obtain new results for positivity which are important in practical applications. We provide some numerical examples to illustrate our results.     

A task that elicits reasoning: A dual analysis

This paper reports on the forms of reasoning elicited as fourth grade students in a suburban district and sixth grade students in an urban district worked on similar tasks involving reasoning with the use of Cuisenaire rods. Analysis of the two data sets shows similarities in the reasoning used by both groups of students on specific tasks, and the tendency of a particular task to elicit numerous forms of reasoning in both groups of students. Attributes of that task and ways that those attributes can be replicated in other domains may have implications in the teaching of early reasoning.     

On the concept of solution for fractional differential equations with uncertainty

We consider a differential equation of fractional order with uncertainty and present the concept of solution. It extends, for example, the cases of first order ordinary differential equations and of differential equations with uncertainty. Some examples are presented.     

Solving second order initial value problems by a hybrid multistep method without predictors

A three-step seventh order hybrid linear multistep method (HLMM) with three non-step points is proposed for the direct solution of the special second order initial value problems (IVPs) of the form y″ = f(x, y) with an extension to y″ = f(x, y, y′). The main method and additional methods are obtained from the same continuous scheme derived via interpolation and collocation procedures.The stability properties of the methods are discussed by expressing them as a one-step method in higher dimension. The methods are then applied in block form as simultaneous numerical integrators over non-overlapping intervals. Numerical results obtained using the proposed block form reveal that it is highly competitive with existing methods in the literature.     

Motion of a vortex filament with axial flow in the half space

We consider a nonlinear third order dispersive equation which models the motion of a vortex filament immersed in an incompressible and inviscid fluid occupying the three dimensional half space. We prove the unique solvability of initial–boundary value problems as an attempt to analyze the motion of a tornado.
