Form of the Spectra of Nucleus Dimensions in First-Order Phase Transitions

We study a generalization of the analytic theory of first-order phase transitions to the cases of arbitrary droplet growth, of nonisothermal processes, and of heterogeneous centers in the system. We show that in all these cases, the spectra of droplet dimensions are similar. The same forms of the spectra are also obtained for the stationary condensation process in a spatially inhomogeneous system.     

Efficient synthesis of CCR5 antagonist, 2,3-dihydro-1-benzothiepine derivatives by improved intramolecular Claisen type reaction using dialkylcarbonate

The efficient synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1-benzothiepine derivatives 4 has been developed. The intramolecular Claisen type reaction of the new products, 4-(o-formylphenylthio)butyrate 9, with alcoholate in dialkylcarbonate as a solvent afforded 4 in good yields. According to this new procedure, we have accomplished the practical preparation of CCR5 antagonist 1 as a candidate for oral HIV-1 therapy.     

New reaction of mononitroarenes: Condensation with two acetophenone moleculesvia the nitro group

Nitrobenzene,p-bromonitrobenzene,N,N-diethyl-p-nitroaniline, and 9-methyl-3nitrocarbazole undergo condensation with two moles of acetophenone in a DMSO-KOH system to form the corresponding (Z)-1,4-diphenyl-2-arylamino-2-butene-1,4-diones.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. 大环二萜类化合物的研究(Ⅳ)——Isosarcophytol—A前体化合物的合成

Isosarcophytol-A(1)是1982年首次从澳大利亚软珊瑚(Nephthea brassica)中分离鉴定的西松烷型(Cembrane)大环二萜类化合物,其结构为6,10,14-三甲基-3-异丙基-3E,5E,9E,13E-环十四碳四烯-1-醇,是Sarcophytol—A(2)的异构体,但有关1的生物活性试验和全合成研究尚未见报道.我们在前文报道了以低价钛诱导的分子内二羰基偶联为环化方法,完成了天然大环二萜类化合物Cembrene—C的全合成和Sarcophytol—A(2)苄醚衍生物(3)的合成.本文报道以天然法呢醇4为起始原料,经区域选择性氧化、羟醛缩合等六步反应,合成了1的前体化合物11.合成路线如下:     

微波促进下N,N-二甲基甲酰胺中的Knoevenagel反应

在微波促进下，芳醛与丙二腈或氰基乙酸乙酯在DMF中进行Knoevenagel缩合反应，以77％～98％的产率生成相应E-式烯烃。     

2-Quinazolylguanidines in Heterocyclization Reactions. 2. Condensation with α,β-Unsaturated Carbonyl Compounds

4,6,6-Trimethyl-1,4-dihydropyrimidines have been synthesized by condensation of 2-quinazolylguanidines with mesityl oxide. The analogous reaction with benzalacetone leads to unstable 4-methyl-6-phenyl-1,4-dihydropyrimidines, which are oxidized to the corresponding 4-methyl-6-phenylpyrimidines.     

Investigation of the chemical heterogeneity of polyphenylenes using the condensation of methyl aryl ketones as a model reaction

The chemical heterogeneity of polyphenylenes obtained by trimerization poiycycio-condensation of acetylaromatic compounds has been investigated by GLC-MS analysis of the products of trimerization cyclocondensation of acetophenone. The mechanism for the formation of side products of the reaction is discussed. The presence of dypnone fragments in the polyphenylene structure results in a decrease in the thermal stability of these polymers.Deceased March, 1993.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION OF AB, A, TYPE CONDENSATION POLYMERS OBTAINED BY ADDING AB MONOMERS IN BATCHES

The molecular weight distribution (MWD) and arm length distribution of AB, Ar type condensation polymers obtained by adding AB monomers in batches have been derived by statistical and kinetic methods. Calculations show the MWD of condensation polymers obtained by this process is much narrower than that of one batch reaction and agrees with the Monte Carlo results very well.
