Hyperfine interaction between electron spin and randomly oriented nuclear spins is a key issue of electron coherence for quantum information/computation. We propose an efficient way to establish high polarization of nuclear spins and reduce the intrinsic nuclear spin fluctuations. Here, we polarize the nuclear spins in semiconductor quantum dot(QD) by the coherent population trapping(CPT) and the electric dipole spin resonance(EDSR) induced by optical fields and ac electric fields. By tuning the optical fields, we can obtain a powerful cooling background based on CPT for nuclear spin polarization. The EDSR can enhance the spin flip–flop rate which may increase the cooling efficiency. With the help of CPT and EDSR, an enhancement of 1300 times of the electron coherence time can be obtained after a 10-ns preparation time. 相似文献

Dynamic localization of two electrons in AC-driven triple quantum dots and quantum dot shuttles 下载免费PDF全文
We analyze the dynamic localization of two interacting electrons induced by alternating current electric fields in triple quantum dots and triple quantum dot shuttles. The calculation of the long-time averaged occupation probability shows that both the intra-and inter-dot Coulomb interaction can increase the localization of electrons even when the AC field is not very large. The mechanical oscillation of the quantum dot shuttles may keep the localization of electrons at a high level within a range if its frequency is quite a bit smaller than the AC field. However, the localization may be depressed if the frequency of the mechanical oscillation is the integer times of the frequency of the AC field. We also derive the analytical condition of two-electron localization both for triple quantum dots and quantum dot shuttles within the Floquet formalism. 相似文献

A population inversion study of GaAs/AlxGa1-x As three-quantum-well quantum cascade structures is presented. We derive the population inversion condition (PIC) of the active region (AR) and discuss the PICs on different structures by changing structural parameters such as the widths of quantum wells or barriers in the AR. For some instances, the PIC can be simplified and is proportional to the spontaneous emission lifetime between the second and the first excited states, whereas some other instances imply that the PIC is proportional to the state lifetime of the second excited state. 相似文献

Large-scale non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations are performed to explore the jet breakup and ejecta production of single crystal Cu with a triangular grooved surface defect under shock loading. The morphology of the jet breakup and ejecta formation is obtained where the ejecta clusters remain spherical after a long simulation time. The effects of shock strength as well as groove size on the steady size distribution of ejecta clusters are investigated. It is shown that the size distribution of ejecta exhibits a scaling power law independent of the simulated shock strengths and groove sizes. This distribution, which has been observed in many fragmentation processes, can be well described by percolation theory. 相似文献

an Ornstein--Uhlenbeck process, on the dynamical localization of
two coupling electrons in a quantum dot array under the action of
an ac electric field is studied. A numerical solution of the stochastic
equations is obtained by averaging over stochastic
trajectories. The results show that the external noise may destroy the
dynamical localization, but the anti-noise capacity of the system
is stronger when the two electrons are localized at the ends of

The Buckingham potential has been employed to simulate the melting and thermodynamic parameters of sodium chloride (NaCl) using the molecular dynamics (MD) method. The constant-volume heat capacity and Grüneisen parameters have been obtained in a wide range of temperatures. The calculated thermodynamic parameters are found to be in good agreement with the available experimental data. The NaCl melting simulations appear to validate the interpretation of superheating of the solid in the one-phase MD simulations. The melting curve of NaCl is compared with the experiments and other calculations at pressure 0-30GPa range. 相似文献

We investigated the transport characteristics of Rabi oscillations, by using numerical methods, within a two-band tight-binding model driven by dc-ac electric fields. We found that Rabi oscillations make the long-time average current a sharply change, i.e. the current have resonant peaks appearing. Rabi oscillations are destroyed by dephasing; these peaks are the signatures of Rabi oscillations on the current response. The strong interband coupling will change the conditions of Rabi oscillations and, correspondingly, changes the places where the current resonant peaks appear. 相似文献
