The stability of set of generalized Ky Fan’s points

This paper is concerned with a generalized Ky Fan’s inequality. We first give an existence result of generalized Ky Fan’s (weak) efficient points, and then establish a complete metric space. Based on these results, we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions of upper semicontinuity of efficient solution mapping to a generalized Ky Fan’s inequality. We also obtain the sufficient conditions of lower semicontinuity and continuity of efficient solution mapping to a generalized Ky Fan’s inequality. Our results are new and different from the corresponding ones in the literature.     

Stability analysis for vector quasiequilibrium problems

This paper is devoted to the continuity of the solution mapping for vector quasiequilibrium problems under mapping perturbations. We show that the solution mapping is upper semicontinuous and Hausdorff upper semicontinuous. Sufficient conditions for the lower semicontinuity and Hausdorff lower semicontinuity of the solution mapping are established. Finally, we apply our results to traffic network problems as example.     

On the Stability of the Solution Sets of General Multivalued Vector Quasiequilibrium Problems

We give sufficient conditions for the semicontinuity of solution sets of general multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems. All kinds of semicontinuities are considered: lower semicontinuity, upper semicontinuity, Hausdorff upper semicontinuity, and closedness. Moreover, we investigate the weak, middle, and strong solutions of quasiequilibrium problems. Many examples are provided to give more insights and comparisons with recent existing results.     

Gap Continuity of Multimaps

We introduce a notion of continuity for multimaps (or set-valued maps) which is mild. It encompasses both lower semicontinuity and upper semicontinuity. We give characterizations and we consider some permanence properties. This notion can be used for various purposes. In particular, it is used for continuity properties of subdifferentials and of value functions in parametrized optimization problems. We also prove an approximate selection theorem.      

Stability for Parametric Vector Quasi-Equilibrium Problems With Variable Cones

This article is devoted to the study of stability conditions for a class of quasi-equilibrium problems with variable cones in normed spaces. We introduce concepts of upper and lower semicontinuity of vector-valued mappings involving variable cones and their properties, we also propose a key hypothesis. Employing this hypothesis and such concepts, we investigate sufficient/necessary conditions of the Hausdorff semicontinuity/continuity for solution mappings to such problems. We also discuss characterizations for the hypothesis which do not contain information regarding solution sets. As an application, we consider the special case of traffic network problems. Our results are new or improve the existing ones.     

Semicontinuity of the solution set of parametric multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems

In this paper we establish sufficient conditions for the solution set of parametric multivalued vector quasiequilibrium problems to be semicontinuous. All kinds of semicontinuity are considered: lower semicontinuity, upper semicontinuity, Hausdorff upper semicontinuity and closedness. Moreover, we investigate both the “weak” and “strong” solutions of quasiequilibrium problems.     

On the stability of the solution mapping for parametric traffic network problems

In this paper, we introduce the parametric traffic network problems. Afterward, a key hypothesis is introduced by virtue of a parametric gap function to considered problems, and we prove that this hypothesis is not only sufficient but also necessary for the Hausdorff lower semicontinuity and Hausdorff continuity of the solution mapping for parametric traffic network problems.     

On the stability of closed-convex-valued mappings and the associated boundaries

This paper deals with the stability properties of those set-valued mappings from locally metrizable spaces to Euclidean spaces for which the images are the convex hull of their boundaries (i.e., they are closed convex sets not containing a halfspace). Examples of this class of mappings are the feasible set and the optimal set of convex optimization problems, and the solution set of convex systems, when the data are subject to perturbations. More in detail, we associate with the given set-valued mapping its corresponding boundary mapping and we analyze the transmission of the stability properties (lower and upper semicontinuity, continuity and closedness) from the given mapping to its boundary and vice versa.     

Sensitivity Analysis for Vector Equilibrium Problems under Functional Perturbations

This article is devoted to sensitivity analysis for vector equilibrium problems under functional perturbations. We show that the solution mapping is upper semicontinuous. Sufficient conditions for lower semicontinuity and Hölder continuity of the solution mapping are established. Finally, we derive some corollaries for special cases of vector equilibrium problems as examples.     

Sensitivity analysis of solution mappings of parametric vector quasi-equilibrium problems

In this article, we study the parametric vector quasi-equilibrium problem (PVQEP). We investigate existence of solution for PVQEP and continuities of the solution mappings of PVQEP. In particular, results concerning the lower semicontinuity of the solution mapping of PVQEP are presented.      

Continuity of the optimal value function in indefinite quadratic programming

This paper characterizes the continuity property of the optimal value function in a general parametric quadratic programming problem with linear constraints. The lower semicontinuity and upper semicontinuity properties of the optimal value function are studied as well.     

Semicontinuity of the Approximate Solution Sets of Multivalued Quasiequilibrium Problems

We consider two kinds of approximate solutions and approximate solution sets to multivalued quasiequilibrium problems. Sufficient conditions for the lower semicontinuity, Hausdorff lower semicontinuity, upper semicontinuity, Hausdorff upper semicontinuity, and closedness of these approximate solution sets are established. Applications in approximate quasivariational inequalities, approximate fixed points, and approximate quasioptimization problems are provided.     

On the Stability of Generalized Vector Quasivariational Inequality Problems

In this paper, we obtain some stability results for generalized vector quasivariational inequality problems. We prove that the solution set is a closed set and establish the upper semicontinuity property of the solution set for perturbed generalized vector quasivariational inequality problems. These results extend those obtained in Ref. 1. We obtain also the lower semicontinuity property of the solution set for perturbed classical variational inequalities. Several examples are given for the illustration of our results.

Semicontinuity and Quasiconvex Functions

Criteria are derived for quasiconvex functions under lower semicontinuity and upper semicontinuity conditions. The results thus obtained generalize earlier results for convex functions. We also give new conditions under which a given function is r-convex in the sense given by Avriel.     

Continuity and Stability of a Quadratic Mixed-Integer Stochastic Program

For the two-stage quadratic stochastic program where the second-stage problem is a general mixed-integer quadratic program with a random linear term in the objective function and random right-hand sides in constraints, we study continuity properties of the second-stage optimal value as a function of both the first-stage policy and the random parameter vector. We also present sufficient conditions for lower or upper semicontinuity, continuity, and Lipschitz continuity of the second-stage problem's optimal value function and the upper semicontinuity of the optimal solution set mapping with respect to the first-stage variables and/or the random parameter vector. These results then enable us to establish conclusions on the stability of optimal value and optimal solutions when the underlying probability distribution is perturbed with respect to the weak convergence of probability measures.

本文在K条件下,研究了所给标量泛函的连续性和拟凸性,并利用该标量泛函,将集值优化问题转化为均衡问题,进而研究了含约束的集值优化问题弱充分解的存在性和拟集值优化问题强逼近解映射的上半连续性与下半连续性.与最近的文献相比,我们的方法是新的,条件和结论也更具一般性.

Stability of semi-infinite vector optimization problems under functional perturbations

This paper is devoted to the study of continuity properties of Pareto solution maps for parametric semi-infinite vector optimization problems (PSVO). We establish new necessary conditions for lower and upper semicontinuity of Pareto solution maps under functional perturbations of both objective functions and constraint sets. We also show that the necessary condition becomes sufficient for the lower and upper semicontinuous properties in the special case where the constraint set mapping is lower semicontinuous at the reference point. Examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.     

On the semicontinuity of the solution map to a parametric boundary control problem

This paper studies solution stability of a parametric boundary control problem governed by semilinear elliptic equation and nonconvex cost function with mixed state control constraints. Using the direct method and the first-order necessary optimality conditions, we obtain the upper semicontinuity and continuity of the solution map with respect to parameters.
