以一维不对称π共轭分子体系(DBASVP分子)为介质,在双光子共振条件下,从双光子面积定理和严格数值求解Maxwell-Bloch方程两方面出发,分别研究超短脉冲激光在该有机分子介质中的传播过程,从而探讨双光子面积的演化规律,并分析双光子面积定理的适用性.提出了一种数值模拟分子介质光限幅特性的理论方法.分子的电子结构和电偶极矩是基于密度泛函理论利用从头计算方法得到的.研究结果表明,基于慢变幅和慢变相近似以及单模场条件下的双光子面积定理不能很好地描述超短脉冲的双光子面积在该分子介质中的演化规律.基于双光子吸收的分子光限幅特性与分子介质的厚度有关.

双光子吸收三维数字光存储是实现超高密度光存储的一种重要方法,双光子吸收几率与作用光强的平方成正比,使得只有位于焦点小范围内的记录介质受到激发,双光子吸收激发的光致聚事作用,光致变色作用、光致荧光漂白、光折变等效应,引起这一小范围内记录介质的光学性质发生改变,结果能将信息写到亚微米尺度的体积单元中,实现三维数字光存储,这种双光子吸收三维数字光存储密度可达10^12Bits/cm^3。文章介绍了双光子吸收三维数字光存储的原理和进展。 相似文献

We analyze nonlinear coupling between individual vibrational quanta for trapped ions. The nonlinear Coulomb interaction causes a Kerr-type Hamiltonian, for which we derive an analytical expression for the coupling constant χ. In contrast to a previously published formula [C.F. Roos, T. Monz, K. Kim, M. Riebe, H. Häffner, D.F.V. James, R. Blatt, Phys. Rev. A 77 (2008) 040302(R)], our result is in close agreement with experimental data. 相似文献

It is shown that the interplay of curvature and
nonlinearity in systems with finite curvature: bent waveguides,
curved chains of nonlinear oscillators, etc can lead to the
qualitative effects, such as symmetry breaking of the nonlinear excitations and their trapping by the bending. The finite
curvature of the waveguide with infinite hard walls (Dirichlet
boundary conditions) provides a stabilizing effect on otherwise
unstable localized states of repelling nonlinear Schr?dinger excitations. The number of quanta which the curved waveguide
can
bind monotonically increases when the radius of curvature
decreases. In the waveguides with Neumann boundary conditions at
the confining walls the curved region might manifest itself as a
two-hump potential barrier with interbarrier space acting as a
potential valley. A threshold character of the scattering
process, i.e. transmission, trapping, or reflection of the moving

A number of laboratories are currently developing monochromatic sources of X-rays and gamma quanta based on the Compton backscattering (CBS) of laser photons by relativistic electrons. Modern technologies are capable of providing a concentration of electrons and photons in the interaction point such that each primary electron can emit several hard photons. In contrast to the well-known nonlinear CBS process, in which an initial electron “absorbs” a few laser photons and emits a single hard one, the above-mentioned process can be called a multiple CBS process and is characterized by a mean number of emitted photons. The present paper is devoted to simulating the parameters of a beam of back scattered quanta based on the Monte Carlo technique. It is shown that, even in the case of strong collimation of a resulting photon beam, the radiation monochromaticity may deteriorate because of the contribution coming from the multiple photon emission, which is something that must be considered while designing new CBS sources. 相似文献

Selective measurements of the states are studied for a single quantum system, viz, a Josephson qubit, by a nonlinear oscillator operating in the mesoscopic regime in which the number of quanta during measurements is varied from a few dozen to several hundreds. The quantum Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the dissipative dynamics of the qubit–oscillator system and the process of measurements of the qubit states from the change in the number of oscillator quanta. It is shown that for π-pulses in the recording of qubit states, discrimination of states is possible in single realizations (measurements), while statistical projective measurements can be made for the prepared superposition state. 相似文献

The manipulation of individual, mobile quanta is a key goal of quantum communication; to achieve this, nonlinear phenomena in open systems can play a critical role. We show theoretically that a variety of strong quantum nonlinear phenomena occur in a completely open one-dimensional waveguide coupled to an N-type four-level system. We focus on photon blockade and the creation of single-photon states in the absence of a cavity. Many-body bound states appear due to the strong photon-photon correlation mediated by the four-level system. These bound states cause photon blockade, which can generate a sub-Poissonian single-photon source. 相似文献

We study the excitation of nonlinear dissipative oscillator under influence of a monochromatic force at the level of a few quanta. With this purpose we consider an optical parametric oscillator combined with phase-modulation in which the oscillatory mode is excited through down-conversion process under a monochromatic laser field. The temporal Rabi oscillations of Fock states as well as the properties of oscillatory mode in phase space are studied with use of the Wigner functions. 相似文献
