In this paper, we propose a modified smart pixel mapping (MSPM) method for displaying orthoscopic three-dimensional (3D) images with a function of depth control in integral imaging system. In the proposed MSPM, the depth-converted elemental image array (EIA) is obtained through the pixel mapping process and the image interpolation technique. The proposed method gives us the depth conversion at distances different from the position of 3D object and provides various types of EIAs using only an original EIA for orthoscopic images. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, we carry out the preliminary experiments and present the experimental results.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a method that controls the depth of the three-dimensional (3D) object existing over the depth-of-focus in integral imaging. The depth control method is performed only in a computer by synthesizing the intermediate sub-images between original sub-images obtained by transforming the captured elemental images. In the reconstruction process, we can obtain reconstructed 3D images with the better image quality within depth-of-focus than that reconstructed over the depth-of-focus. To demonstrate the feasibility of our method, optical and computational experiments are carried out and its results are presented.  相似文献

Stereoscopic image quality assessment (SIQA) plays a crucial role in the development of 3D imaging system. In this paper, an objective SIQA model named saliency structure stereoscopic image quality assessment method (3SIQA) is built, based on the fact that human is selectively sensitive to various structure. Structural similarity image index (SSIM) is generally used to calculate the structure similarity between the reference image and the distorted image, and the selective sensitivity of human vision system is described on two aspects: saliency and texture. The former aspect performs through giving different weights to the image pixel value and its saliency map, and the latter one is represented by dividing SSIM map into three parts (edge, smooth and texture zone) and summing these parts with different weights. Moreover, the experimental results demonstrate its promise.  相似文献

The problem of obstacle detection and recognition or, generally, scene mapping is one of the most investigated problems in computer vision, especially in mobile applications. In this paper a fused optical system using depth information with color images gathered from the Microsoft Kinect sensor and 3D laser range scanner data is proposed for obstacle detection and ground estimation in real-time mobile systems. The algorithm consists of feature extraction in the laser range images, processing of the depth information from the Kinect sensor, fusion of the sensor information, and classification of the data into two separate categories: road and obstacle. Exemplary results are presented and it is shown that fusion of information gathered from different sources increases the effectiveness of the obstacle detection in different scenarios, and it can be used successfully for road surface mapping.  相似文献

We are presenting a differential three-dimensional (3-D) shape profiling method that is based on the combination of orthogonal fringe projection. It allows us to compute depth gradient maps in a fast and efficient manner. What we are demonstrating is that depth gradients can be computed in a simple way by measuring fringe deformation throughout a novel single-shot approach. We show the usefulness and potential applications of the proposed approach. Validation experiments are presented as well.  相似文献

The increasing importance of optical 3D measurement techniques and the growing number of available methods and systems require a fast and simple method to characterize the measurement accuracy. However, the conventional approach of comparing measured coordinates to known reference coordinates of a test target faces two major challenges: the precise fabrication of the target and - in case of pattern projecting systems - finding the position of the reference points in the obtained point cloud. The modulation transfer function (MTF) on the other hand is an established instrument to describe the resolution characteristics of 2D imaging systems. Here, the MTF concept is applied to two different topometric systems based on fringe and speckle pattern projection to obtain a 3D transfer function. We demonstrate that in the present case fringe projection provides typically 3.5 times the 3D resolution achieved with speckle pattern projection. By combining measurements of the 3D transfer function with 2D MTF measurements the dependency of 2D and 3D resolutions are characterized. We show that the method allows for a simple comparison of the 3D resolution of two 3D sensors using a low cost test target, which is easy to manufacture.  相似文献

A method of point-based integration from multiple registered laser radar (Ladar) range images for 3D object reconstruction is presented in this literature. Our method operates surface point data directly and provides a direct way for overlapping data removal. The overlapping areas were detected using a single distance threshold. In order to set the distance threshold, a local point density approach is introduced to solve it. Compared with the mesh-based, volumetric and other points-based integration approaches, our method is simple and fast, and need less storage memory. The approach is performed on various objects with different geometric shapes. The experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and feasibility of our method.  相似文献

The non-local means (NLM) filter removes noise by calculating the weighted average of the pixels in the global area and shows superiority over existing local filter methods that only consider local neighbor pixels. This filter has been successfully extended from 2D images to 3D images and has been applied to denoising 3D magnetic resonance (MR) images. In this article, a novel filter based on the NLM filter is proposed to improve the denoising effect. Considering the characteristics of Rician noise in the MR images, denoising by the NLM filter is first performed on the squared magnitude images. Then, unbiased correcting is carried out to eliminate the biased deviation. When performing the NLM filter, the weight is calculated based on the Gaussian-filtered image to reduce the disturbance of the noise. The performance of this filter is evaluated by carrying out a qualitative and quantitative comparison of this method with three other filters, namely, the original NLM filter, the unbiased NLM (UNLM) filter and the Rician NLM (RNLM) filter. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed filter achieves better denoising performance over the other filters being compared.  相似文献

三维显微图像去卷积计算量巨大,运算时间长。评价和分析了三维点扩散函数、散焦像、光学切片以及不同三维点扩散函数去卷积的复原图像,进一步证明了散焦光信息对焦面像的干扰,主要来自于焦面像两侧附近的散焦像。提出了折中选择三维PSF的空间大小,可以获得良好的复原效果,并且减少运行时间。提出了频谱图均值的新概念,作为评价图像清晰及模糊程度的标准,并运用于散焦像、光学切片以及复原结果图的评价。  相似文献

In this paper, a novel configuration of LCD projectors for efficiently polarized stereoscopic projection with improved light efficiency is presented. In the proposed scheme, polarization orientations of the analyzers in the LCD engine of one projector are rotated by 90° with respect to those of the other one, so it causes to rotate orientations of polarized outputs by 90° as well as to change operational modes of LCD panels from the normally black mode to the normally white mode or vice versa. Then, by exchanging the green color components between the modified and original LCD projectors, two orthogonally polarized views for stereoscopic projection could be obtained without use of external polarizers. Analysis on the operational mode conversions of the LCD engines with rotation of the analyzers is discussed and its experimental results are provided.  相似文献

This paper presents an improved depth extraction method of 3D objects using computational integral imaging reconstruction (CIIR) based on the multiple windowing models. The proposed method records 3D objects using the lenslet array; and it reconstructs multiple sets of slice images from multiple CIIR methods based on the different windowing models. A depth map is then extracted by a block matching algorithm among multiple set of slice images. A preliminary experiment is carried out to show the feasibility of the proposed method. Experimental results indicate the proposed method outperforms the previous method with two windowing models.  相似文献

航空遥感监测中变焦镜头的广泛应用以及飞行高度的变化会获得不同地面分辨率的航空影像,因此为了实时监控到飞行区域的整体情况,需要对不同地面分辨率的图像进行拼接。提出了针对不同地面分辨率图像进行拼接的方法。首先用四分法对图像进行分割,检测变化倍率,选择配准策略;然后用基于加速鲁棒性特征(Speeded-Up Robust Features,SURF)的算法对相邻图像进行拼接。获得了焦距变化从高倍过渡到低倍,或从低倍过渡到高倍的拼接图像。通过航空变焦模拟影像的拼接实验和地面变焦影像的拼接实验表明,该方法能够对不同地面分辨率的图像进行拼接,且拼接结果均以高分辨率为基准。  相似文献

全息透镜板的高精度拼接与装配是基于全息透镜技术的大屏幕LED裸眼3D显示系统搭建中的关键问题。理论计算与实验结果表明,全息透镜板与LED显示模组横向相对位置误差小于1.332mm时,可以满足显示的要求。基于裸眼3D显示系统的投射条纹,提出了基于投射条纹的全息透镜板位置实时调整方法。依据此方法提出了基于极大值测量条纹中心间距的图像处理算法,并结合LabView编写了图像处理程序。实验结果表明,使用该方法测得的亮暗条纹间距的测量精度为0.1mm,反算出全息透镜板与LED屏之间的位置误差小于0.03mm,满足实时调整全息透镜板位置的要求,可以作为全息透镜板在线拼接的检测方法。  相似文献

This paper describes an approach to retrieve the three-dimensional atomic structure of a nanocrystalline particle from the reconstructed electron exit wave function in a single projection direction. The method employs wave propagation to determine the local exit surface of each atomic column together with its mass. The exit wave in between colums is used as internal calibration so as to remove the background noise and improve the precision to the level of single atom sensitivity. The validity of the approach is tested with exit wave functions of a gold wedge reconstructed from simulated images containing different levels of noise.  相似文献

平面三维显示技术是近年来最新出现的虚拟现实显示技术,其最大的特点是观察者无需使用任何辅助附加设备,直接用肉眼就可看到屏幕上显示的三维图像。为推进三维显示技术的发展,进一步研究了视差立体成像原理,并据此介绍几种平面三维显示方法及其工作原理,包括障栅立体显示、微柱透镜阵列立体显示、偏振片立体显示和基于微柱透镜立体显示原理的多视点系统,阐述并分析了系统的优缺点。以日本三洋公司的四视角立体显示装置、南京大学的多视点三维显示系统和NEC液晶科技的HDDP三维显示系统为例,描述了国内外该项技术近期的研究现状,分析了存在的技术难点,展望了该应用领域的发展前景。  相似文献
