In this paper, we propose a new cellular automaton model, which is
based on NaSch traffic model. In our method, when a car has a larger
velocity, if the gap between the car and its leading car is not enough
large, it will decrease. The aim is that the following car
has a buffer space to decrease its velocity at the next time, and then
avoid to decelerate too high. The simulation results show that using our
model, the car deceleration is realistic, and is closer
to the field measure than that of NaSch model. 相似文献

考虑影响随机延迟概率的几种因素:当车速预期大于车距时,车辆处于减速状态,对前车状态变化的随机延迟反应较大,具有的延迟概率较大;当车速预 期 等于车距时,车辆处于平稳跟随行驶状态,具有的延迟概率较小;当车速预期小于车距时,车辆处于加速状态,其延迟概率最小. 计算机数值模拟得到的基本图不同于NaSch模型的基 本图,在基本图上出现阻塞的范围内存在两个不同的区域,分别对应于具有不同激波速度的交通阻塞. 同时,研究了交通阻塞到消散的滞后现象.

This paper presents a new cellular automaton (CA) model for train control system simulation. In the proposed CA model, the driver reactions to train movements are captured by some updated rules. The space-time diagram of traffic flow and the trajectory of train movement is used to obtain insight into the characteristic behavior of railway traffic flow. A number of simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CA model can be successfully used for the simulations of railway traffic. Not only the characteristic behavior of railway traffic flow can be reproduced, but also the simulation values of the minimum time headway are close to the theoretical values. 相似文献

Different driving decisions will cause different processes of phase transition in traffic flow.To reveal the inner mechanism, this paper built a new cellular automaton (CA) model,based on the driving decision (DD). In the DD model, a driver's decision is divided intothree stages: decision-making, action, and result. The acceleration is taken as a decisionvariable and three core factors, i.e. distance between adjacent vehicles, their own velocity,and the preceding vehicle's velocity, are considered. Simulation results show that the DDmodel can simulate the synchronized flow effectively and describe the phase transitionin traffic flow well. Further analyses illustrate that various density will cause the phasetransition and the random probability will impact the process. Compared with the traditional NaSch model, the DD model considered the preceding vehicle's velocity, the deceleration limitation, and a safe
distance, so it can depict closer to the driver preferences on pursuing safety, stability and fuel-saving and has strong theoreticalinnovation for future studies. 相似文献

In this paper, we use the stochastic Nagel--Schreckenberg (NaSch)
model to investigate the influence of a special right-turning lane
connecting two main roads on the capacity of a signalized road
intersection. It is found that the magnitude of right-turning
traffic flow and the linking position of the special right-turning
lane can greatly influence the capacity of the signalized road
intersection. The relation between traffic flow and entering
probability for different distances between the entrance (exit) of
the special right-turning lane and the road intersection is
simulated and analysed. The corresponding spatiotemporal pattern and
phase diagram on different sections of the main road are given
under the condition of close proximity to the signalized road
intersection, stop-and-go traffic occur and obstruct the
intersection. On the contrary, unchanged flux is maintained as the
distance exceeds a critical values. All the studies indicate that
setting a special right-turning lane by choosing a suitable location
near a signalized road intersection can relieve the load of current
traffic on the main road and maintain traffic flow. 相似文献

This paper presents a cellular automaton traffic flow
model with an open boundary condition to describe the traffic flow at
a roundabout crossing with an inner roundabout lane and an outer
roundabout lane. The simulation results show that the boundary
condition, bottlenecks and the self-organization affect the traffic
flow at the roundabout crossing. Because of the effect of
bottlenecks, jams easily appear on the inner roundabout lane. To
improve the capacity of the roundabout system, proper values of the
enter probability α and the out probability $\beta $ can be

Most traffic papers in the literature just discussed heterogeneous driver behavior, to our best knowledge. Two truncated Gaussian distributions are used to model heterogeneous and inconsistent driver behavior, respectively. The physical meanings of two truncated distributions are indicated. This method may help enhance a better understanding of driver behavior at roundabout traffic, and even possibly provide references for roundabout design and management. 相似文献

As two kinds of management modes of highway traffic control, lane-control, and speed-control produce different effect under different conditions. In this paper, traffic flow cellular automaton models for four-lane highway system with two opposing directions under the above two modes are established considering car and truck mixed running. Through computer numerical simulating, the fundamental diagrams with different parameters are obtained, and after the analysis of density-flux diagrams, the variation discipline of flux with traffic density under different control models is gained. The results indicate that, compared with lane-control, utilization ratio of road can be further improved with speed-control when the truck number increases. The research result is of great significance for reasonable providing theoretical guidance for highway traffic control. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to study traffic properties in an on/off-ramp system with a bus stop close to the on/off ramp. The location of the bus stop in the on/off-ramp (thereafter downstream or upstream case) is discussed. The simulation results show that in the two ramp systems, the reasons for traffic congestions are different. In the on-ramp system, buses and cars coming from on-ramp interweave each other, while in the off-ramp system, busesinterweave with cars exiting to off-ramp. Thus, in the on-ramp (off-ramp) system, the upstream (downstream) bus stop is helpful to reduce the interweaving situation. Moreover, the negative effect will disappear when the distance between the bus stop and the on/off-ramp is more than 20 cells (i.e. 150 m). These qualitative findings may provide some suggestions on traffic management and optimization. 相似文献

在NaSh模型的基础上,考虑交通事故和养护路段等意外事件对高速公路交通流的影响,建立了有意外事件影响的在车道管制下的高速公路交通流元胞自动机模型,并进行数值模拟. 研究发现:意外事件对高速公路交通流有明显影响,并且意外事件对交通流的影响在某一密度值范围内尤其明显,且意外事件堵塞点在第一车道比在第二车道对交通流的影响小;同时,在该密度值范围内,意外事件堵塞时间和堵塞路段长度越长,对交通流的影响就越大.

In this paper,we further analyze our cellular automaton(CA)traffic flow model.By changing some parameters,the characteristics of our model can be significantly varied,ranging from the features of phase transitions to the number of traffic phases.We also review the other CA models based on Kerner’s three-phase traffic theory.By comparisons,we find that the core concepts for modeling the synchronized flow in these models are similar.Our model can be a good candidate for modeling the synchronized flow,since there is enough flexibility in our framework. 相似文献
