Optical reflectance and transmittance measurements between 0.3 and 5.5 eV were performed on (SN)x-films which showed a parallel orientation of the crystallites with respect to their polymer chain axis.The optical behaviour below 3 eV for light polarized parallel to the chain axis and in particular a strong absorption peak between 1 and 2 eV is explained to be a Maxwell-Garnett resonance of the free carriers. The influence of the free carriers is also observed for light polarized perpendicular to the chains and is analysed by the same model. From the anisotropy of the transport properties the interchain coupling is inferred.  相似文献

A metallic (Ag)–dielectric (AgI) hollow glass waveguide is a promising and flexible fiber for the delivery of high-power CO2 laser radiation. The thickness of metallic (Ag) films and dielectric (AgI) films is a critical factor which greatly influences the attenuation of the waveguides. In this paper, metallic (Ag)–dielectric (AgI) films were successfully prepared in the capillary whose inner diameter is 0.53 mm, and firstly investigated with theoretical analysis and measured by means of AES and SEM. There is good agreement between theoretical thickness and experimental results, which confirms the validity of the theoretical analysis, which makes the estimate of the thickness of both the metallic and dielectric films possible with high accuracy prior to the preparation of hollow glass waveguides. The attenuation spectra of Ag/AgI hollow waveguides shows the loss increases with the thickness of Ag, AgI films and indicates that the Ag/AgI hollow waveguide is suitable for the transmission of IR radiation.  相似文献

Polarized optical studies of single crystals and polycrystalline compactions of the organic salt (TTF) (TCNQ) are reported. Metallic behavior is observed for light polarized parallel to the conducting axis. The plasma edge occurs at 1.4 μm with metallic reflection observed in the i.r. The plasma frequency (h?ωp=1.2eV) leads to an optical effective mass m1=5me implying a tight-binding transfer integral of 0.1 eV in agreement with estimates obtained from other measurements. The scattering time, τ, as determined from the shape of the reflectance curve, yields a room temperature metallic conductivity of 103(Ω-cm)-1 in good agreement with the measured d.c. value. An estimate of the dimensionless electron-phonon coupling constant is obtained from the measured value of τ,λph?1.3. The strong anisotropic absorption in the visible portion of the spectrum is attributed to interband transitions.  相似文献

为提高航空侦查识别目标能力以及满足部队全天候作战需要,设计了一种应用于全景航空侦查相机的可见光/红外双视场成像光学系统。可见光光学系统焦距为165 mm/660 mm,相对孔径为1:8.8,视场角为9.1°×6.8°/2.3°×1.7°;红外光学系统焦距为75 mm/300 mm,相对孔径为1:4,视场角为8.3°×6.2°/2.1°×1.6°。采用有限焦距光学系统前面加一个望远系统的方法实现变倍,根据红外器件及可见光器件的像元尺寸计算出红外系统及可见光系统的奈奎斯特频率分别为33 lp/mm和91 lp/mm。在33 lp/mm处,红外光学系统大、小视场的MTF值分别为为0.35和0.37,在91 lp/mm处,可见光光学系统大、小视场MTF值分别为0.41和0.4,成像质量接近衍射极限,表明光学系统成像质量良好,满足实际工程使用要求。  相似文献

介绍了一种基于光纤光栅波长路由的全光双纤单向自愈环网,环内四节点具有16×10Gbit/s的传输能力。利用啁啾光纤光栅(CFBG)的波长可选择特性,实现了分布式的上下话路和波长选择功能,同时有效地补偿了传输色散。网络管理参照了网络管理协议(SNMP)的网络管理模型,通过对网络的重要参数进行实时监测来控制网络运行。实验结果表明,当环上任一处光缆发生故障时,通信业务能够自动恢复,恢复时间小于50ms,可实现网络的快速自愈,符合ITU-T G.841的建议规定。  相似文献

Far infrared and infrared reflectivity was measured for barite single crystal using polarized light. Twenty six oscillators were observed. The real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric function were obtained by a fitting procedure for three directions (E a;E b andE c). Group theory analysis has been done in detail and the number and position of experimentally observed infrared active modes were compared with the theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Visible light wavelength division multiplexing (VWDM) experiment was performed using polymer optical fiber (POF). Lights of two different wavelengths (650 and 530 nm) were sent to a single POF. Red light (650 nm) was used for 100-Mb/s full duplex IP data transmission and green light (530 nm) was used for voice signal transmission. Light sources are light-emitting diodes (LEDs). A POF coupler (splitter) and the prisms were employed as multiplexer and demultiplexer, respectively. The channel isolation and insert loss were measured, which are 20.5 and 17.65 dB for 650-nm channel respectively, and 19.16 and 20.55 dB for 530 nm one respectively.  相似文献

The optical properties of mixed (Ni0.5Ag0.5)n and Pt/Ag clusters are investigated in the size range 2-5 nm. Low Energy Ion Spectroscopy (LEIS) experiments show that the cluster surface is entirely covered by silver atoms for the two systems. The optical spectra of Ni/Ag clusters exhibit a large Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), damped and widened when the cluster size decreases, in agreement with a classical model assuming a core-shell geometry and including the reduction of the conduction electron mean-free path in the silver shell. For Pt/Ag clusters, no SPR emerges in the size range 2-5 nm, although it is predicted within a classical model, a pronounced SPR appearing only for clusters larger than 10 nm in diameter.  相似文献

We report on low-loss multiwavelength laser delivery of hollow optical fiber in a wide wavelength region, from the visible to the infrared. Improved methods of liquid-phase coating were used to fabricate the hollow fiber with inner films of a silver and a cyclic olefin polymer (COP) layer. The surface roughness of the silver layer was reduced dramatically by pretreatment on the inner glass surface with an SnCl2 solution. The COP layer roughness was also decreased by using an ambient atmosphere of tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvent during the COP layer formation. Owing to the smooth surfaces, hollow fiber with optimum COP film thickness for CO2 laser light simultaneously yields low losses for a Er:YAG laser and a red pilot beam. The power durability of CO2 and Er:YAG lasers, as well as the loss properties for the pilot beam, is demonstrated.  相似文献

An improved coating method was proposed in order to form a uniform polymer layer in the fabrication of cyclic olefin polymer-coated silver (COP/Ag) hollow fiber. A COP solution was flowed in a closed loop, in which the silver-coated tube was used as a part of the loop. Owing to the constant flowing speed of the COP solution and the airtight flowing environment, a COP layer was uniformly formed. The hollow fibers attain high performance and deliver multi-wavelength laser light from the infrared to the visible simultaneously. The method was successfully applied to the fabrication of practical hollow fibers with 2 m length for the near and mid-infrared lasers.  相似文献

The angular dependence of brightness and linear polarization of randomly oriented aggregates has been investigated in order to find rules connecting their scattering properties with their structure, packing density, complex refractive index, and number and size of the spheres forming the aggregate. Our study is based on an interpretation in terms of successive orders of scattering, in particular on the analysis of the contribution of the interference and near-field effects. Such an approach allowed us to explain and interrelate the main peculiarities of the angular dependence of the intensity and polarization displayed by aggregates. Of special interest are the aggregates showing a so-called negative branch of linear polarization of light scattered into angles close to the backscattering direction. It has been shown that the enhancement of intensity and the negative polarization in this angular range are mainly caused by the interference of multiply scattered waves as well as by near-field effects. If the number of particles in the aggregate is large enough and its size is comparable to the wavelength, the backscattering enhancement is caused by the particles in the surface layers of the aggregate, where the radiation field is mostly homogeneous, while the negative branch is mainly generated by the deeper layers of particles, where the radiation field is inhomogeneous with chaotic changes of amplitudes and phases. This results in a rather weak dependence of the negative polarization on particle location in the deeper layers of the aggregate and on particle number but not on packing density.  相似文献

We report visible supercontinuum generation initiated by the second harmonic generation obtained in a germanium-doped microstructured optical fiber after optical poling processing. The visible spectral broadening is due to a cross-phase modulation effect between the generated IR solitons and the second harmonic (532 nm) of the 1064 nm pump wave. The 400-650 nm white-light emission is obtained on the fundamental propagation mode of the fiber.  相似文献
