In the paper, the notion of order of a difference equation is introduced in such a way that this order is invariant with respect to the change of the independent variable. For the general case, a formula for the general solution of linear difference equation of k -th order is given. It is shown that, in contrast to differential equations, the dimension of the linear space of solutions of linear homogenous difference equation can be lowered if their domain of definition is restricted appropriately. 相似文献

The theory of linear ordinary quasi-differential operators has been considered in Lebesgue locally integrable spaces on a single interval of the real line. Such spaces are not Banach spaces but can be considered as complete, locally convex, linear topological spaces where the topology is derived from a countable family of semi-norms. The first conjugate space can also be defined as a complete, locally convex, linear topological space but now with the topology derived as a strict inductive limit. This article extends the previous single interval results to the case when a finite or countable number of intervals of the real line is considered. Conjugate and preconjugate linear quasi-differential operators are defined and relationships between these operators are developed. 相似文献

This work is an introduction to anisotropic spaces, which have an ω-weight of analytic functions and are generalizations of Lipshitz classes in the polydisc. We prove that these classes form an algebra and are invariant with respect to monomial multiplication. These classes are described in terms of derivatives. It is established that Toeplitz operators are bounded in these (Lipschitz and Djrbashian) spaces. As an application, a theorem about the division by good-inner functions in the mentioned classes is proved. 相似文献

First the existence of a general solution is established under certain assumptions on the right-hand side of (1). Next, a general method for solving boundary value problems or other related problems (2) is laid down. The latter is possible whenever the corresponding problem for a polyanalytic function admits a unique solution which, in addition, satisfies certain a priori estimates. In this paper, we obtain a reinforcement of an inequality due to Brascamp and Lieb and a reinforcement of Poincaré's inequality for general logarithmical concave measures on Rd. The formula used in the proof is related to theorems concerning the integration of log-concave functions (such as results of Prékopa and of Ball, Barthe and Naor). In this paper we give two generalizations of a theorem of Beppo Levi ([1], p. 347, Formula (12)). This theorem affirms that, under certain conditions, the following assertion is true: where φ(x) is a function that verifies φ(0) > 0; f(x) is defined and bounded in the interval (a, b) and continuous in the point 0 with f(0) ≠ 0; f(x) and φ(x) are integrable functions in the interval [a, b]; c >, 0 and υ > 1. This problem was studied by Laplace [2], Darboux [3], Stieltjes [4], Lebesgue [5], Romanovsky [6], and Fowler [7]. The first generalization (Section 1, Theorem 1.2, Formula (1.35)) says that, under certain conditions, the following formula is valid: where φn(x) is a sequence of functions and Bn(a) designates the n-dimentional ball of radius a and center in the origin. The extension follows by Romanovsky's method. The absolute maximum of φ(x) in the extremes of the interval of definition is treated in the second generalization of the Theorem of Beppo Levi (Section 2, Theorem 2.2, Formulas (2.1), (2.2)). We discuss the construction of a polyanalytic function Φ of order n on a simple bounded domain D. The function satisfies n prescribed generalized Riemann-Hilbert boundary conditions on the boundary ?D and n generalized jump conditions on a simple closed smooth contour γ contained in D. The boundary conditions are transformed into n classical Riemann-Hilbert problems and the n jump conditions into n Riemann problems of conjugation for some 2n holomorphic functions. function over the feasible set defined by a system of faithfully convex inequality constraints and/or quasi-convex polynomial
inequalities, where the faithfully convex functions satisfy some mild assumption. The conditions are provided in the form
of an algorithm, terminating after a finite number of iterations, the implementation of which requires the identification
of implicit equality constraints in a homogeneous linear system. We prove that the optimal solution set of the considered
problem is nonempty, this way extending the attainability result well known as the so-called Frank-Wolfe theorem. Finally
we show that our extension of the Frank-Wolfe theorem immediately implies continuity of the solution set defined by the considered
