Palladium-catalyzed Heck reactions of the heteroaryl halides, halopyridines, bromoquinoline and bromothiophenes, with the electron-rich olefins vinyl ethers and allyl alcohol were shown to give essentially only the branched olefins in an imidazolium ionic liquid, whereas in molecular solvents a mixture of regioisomers was formed. The method obviates the need for aryl triflates and stoichiometric inorganic salt additives, providing an easy entry to functionalized heteroaromatics incorporating acetyl and 2-allyl alcohol functionalities.  相似文献

meso-2,4-Bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane (mBDPP) has proved to be an effective regiocontrolling ligand for palladium-catalyzed internal arylation by aryl bromides of electron-rich olefins in a common solvent DMSO with no need for any halide scavengers. The arylation of the benchmark electron-rich olefin butyl vinyl ether took place smoothly to afford exclusively alpha-arylated product with high isolated yields. The better performance of mBDPP, compared with that of the commonly used DPPP [1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane], highlights the important but subtle effect of ligand on the regioselectivity of the Heck arylation reactions.  相似文献

Inter- and intramolecular arylations of trimethylsilyl enol ethers with aryl halides are accomplished regiospecifically in the presence of a palladium catalyst and tributyltin fluoride in refluxing benzene or toluene. The optimal catalyst system called for the use of Pd2(dba)3 and tri-tert-butylphosphine in ca. 1:2 ratio. Aryl iodides, bromides, and chlorides are all effective arylation partners in this reaction. Highly efficient palladium-catalyzed Heck coupling of aryl nonaflates with electron-rich vinyl ethers, and enamides is described. These reactions afforded exclusively the branched products in good yields. The results indicated that aryl nonaflates are effective alternative to the frequently employed aryl triflates.  相似文献

The three-component aminoallylation reaction of the activated olefins 2 with the phthalimide 1a and allyl chloride proceeded very smoothly in the presence of Pd(2)dba(3).CHCl(3) (5 mol %)/P(4-FC(6)H(4))(3) (40 mol %) and Cs(2)CO(3) (3 equiv against 2) in dichloromethane at room temperature to give the corresponding aminoallylated products, N-pent-4-enylphthalimides 3, in 58-99% yields. The reaction of oxazolidinone 1b also proceeded very smoothly to give N-(2,2-dicyano-1-phenylpent-4-enyl)oxazolidinone in a quantitative yield; however, the Tsuji-Trost-type allylation products 4 were obtained in the case of dibenzylamine, N-tosylaniline, and pyrrolidin-2-one. Further, 2 underwent cycloaddition with N-tosylvinylaziridine 9a in the presence of Pd(2)dba(3).CHCl(3) (5 mol %)/P(4-FC(6)H(4))(3) (40 mol %) in THF at room temperature, giving the corresponding pyrrolidines 11 in 69-99% yields.  相似文献

We have recently established that highly regioselective Heck arylation of electron-rich olefins can be accomplished with aryl halides without using any halide scavengers in imidazolium ionic liquid solvents. The results presented in this paper show that the benchmark electron-rich olefins vinyl ethers can be readily arylated by aryl bromides in a molecular solvent-ionic liquid cocktail with no compromise on regioselectivity. By introducing a small amount of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([bmim][BF4]) to DMSO, the arylation reactions of the vinyl ethers 1a-d by the bromides 2a-j took place to afford essentially only the α arylated products. The enamide 1e underwent similar regioselective arylation in the solvent cocktail. In the absence of the ionic liquid, lower regioselectivities were observed. In comparison with the chemistry we have reported so far, the current method reduces considerably the reliance on the volume of ionic liquids used, providing a simpler and more practical synthetic pathway for preparing arylated vinyl ethers and aryl methyl ketones.  相似文献

A comparative study of the palladium-catalyzed arylation and heteroarylation of 5-bromoazolopyrimidines shows that aryl and electron-rich heteroaryl boronic acids gave higher yields than those obtained using the corresponding aryl and heteroaryl tributyl stannanes. In contrast, the reaction with electron-poor heteroaryl tributyl stannanes gave better results than the corresponding boronic acids.  相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed regioselective Heck arylation of the electron-rich olefins, vinyl ethers 1a-d, enamides 1e-g, and allyltrimethylsilane 1h, has been accomplished in imidazolium ionic liquids with a wide range of aryl bromides and iodides instead of the commonly used, but commercially unavailable and expensive, aryl triflates. The reaction proceeded with high efficiency and remarkable regioselectivity without the need for costly or toxic halide scavengers, leading exclusively to substitution by aryl groups of diverse electronic and steric properties at the olefinic carbon alpha to the heteroatom of 1a-g and beta to the heteroatom of 1h. In contrast, the arylation reaction in molecular solvents led to mixtures of regioisomers under similar conditions. Several lines of evidence point to the unique regiocontrol stemming from the ionic environment provided by the ionic liquid that alters the reaction pathway. The chemistry provides a simple, effective method for preparing branched, arylated olefins and contributes to the extension of Heck reaction to a wider range of substrates.  相似文献

The direct coupling of aryl chlorides with heteroarenes would be a considerable advantage for sustainable development due to their lower cost, lower mass, the wider diversity of available compounds and also because of the formation of only HCl associated to a base as by-product and the reduction of the number of steps to prepare these compounds. We observed that through the use of PdCl(dppb)(C3H5) as a catalyst, a range of heteroaryl derivatives undergoes coupling via C-H bond activation/functionalization reaction with chloropyridines or chloroquinolines in low to high yields. This air-stable catalyst can be used with a wide variety of substrates. The position of the chloro substituent on pyridines has a minor influence on the yields. On the other hand, the nature on the heteroaryl derivative has a large influence. The highest yields were obtained using benzoxazole, thiophene or thiazole derivatives. The coupling of chloropyridines with furans also gave the expected products, but in low to moderate yields.  相似文献

The versatility of the palladium(II) chloride and triethylsilane system has been tested in the hydrogenation of 1-alkenes. The reduction of 1-alkenes was carried out in the presence of triethylsilane, ethanol and a catalytic amount of palladium(II) chloride, at room temperature. A new efficient protocol for the nickel-catalyzed Heck reaction of aryl triflates with vinyl ethers is presented. Mild reaction conditions that equal those of the corresponding palladium-catalyzed Heck reaction are applied, representing a practical and more sustainable alternative to the conventional regioselective arylation of vinyl ethers. A catalytic system comprised of Ni(COD)(2) and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (DPPF) in combination with the tertiary amine Cy(2)NMe proved effective in the olefination of a wide range of aryl triflates. Both electron-deficient and electron-rich arenes proved compatible, and the corresponding aryl methyl ketone could be secured after hydrolysis in yields approaching quantitative. Good functional group tolerance was observed matching the characteristics of the analogous Pd-catalyzed Heck reaction. The high levels of catalytic activity were explained by the intermediacy of a cationic nickel(II) complex potentially responsible for the successive β-hydride elimination and base promoted catalyst regeneration. Although these elementary reactions are normally considered challenging, DFT calculations suggested this pathway to be favorable under the applied reaction conditions.  相似文献

An efficient, palladium-catalyzed Hiyama cross-coupling reaction of aryltrifluorosilanes with aryl chlorides has been developed. A wide variety of functionalized biaryl derivatives were isolated in good to excellent yields.
