| Abstract: | Coptisine hydrochloride in overall yield of 9.9% was synthesized from 2,3-dimethoxybenzaldehyde by a five-step reaction of demethylation,cyclization,condensation,ring-closing reaction and so on.The structure was characterized by 1H NMR and MS. |
