| Abstract: | PLA is a well-known biocompatible bioresorbable polymer, which is being increasingly used as biomaterial for temporary therapeutic applications. In this paper, the recent studies on the polymerization mechanisms and preparation teclnology of PLA are overviewed and the future work in this area is also evaluated. |
