Sample Pretreatment in Speciation of Trace Organometallic Compounds by Gas Chromatography Atomic Spectrometry |

| Abstract: | A review of organometallic speciation by gas chromatography is presented. Methods for the pretreatment of environmental and biological samples, including sampling and storage, extraction, derivatization, clean up, as well as preconcentration etc., are considered in detail for the speciation of organometallic compounds by gas chromatography. Separation and detection of organometallic compounds in GC hyphenated systems is also discussed briefly. |
