Abstract:A new series of diphenyl(2-methoxyphenyl)phosphine coordinated silver carboxylates Ag(O2CR)(L): L=Diphenyl(2-methoxyphenyl)phosphine, R=CH3 (3a), CH3CH2 (3b), i-Pr (3c), EtOCH2 (3d), p-CH3OPh (3e), CH3CH=CH (3f), (CH3)2C=CH (3g), ClCH2 (3h)] were synthesized by reaction of diphenyl(2-methoxyphenyl)phosphine with the related silver carboxylates in chloroform. The complexes were obtained as white solids in high yields and their structures have been characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR, IR spectroscopy. The thermal stability of these complexes has been studied by the TG analysis. These complexes can be used in the growth of metal thin films via aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition (AACVD) techniques.
