Review on Development of Ship's Integrated Navigation System

This paper summarizes the current situation of the system, expounds its newest bus structure and expanding functions, and points out the trend of the systems development that will be in the year of 2010~2030. Integrated navigation systems(INS) have become an important accessorial equipment in modern ships navigation system, and is even dispensable for military ships navigation. Its design is becoming more and more reasonable, and its products of different kinds have been exposed by the domestic and foreign manufactures. Meanwhile, a group of methods, technologies, arithmetics and equipments come forth, which are suitable for the INS. It is developing in the direction of multi-functions, multi-modes, high accuracy and high reliability.
