| Abstract: | Abstract In this paper, the restricted Broyden's family is investigated. A class of Wolfetype inexact linesearch procedures are introduced, which are combined with the restricted Broyden's family. Under the convex assumption on objective functions,the global convergence of the restricted Broyden's family is proved. Our results generalize those of Powell (1976) and Byrd etc (1987). |
