Abstract:The extraction of micro amounts of Au and Pd was studied by using MBT-MIBK system in the medium of HCl+HNO_3(3+1) (4%), and the Au and Pd extracted into the organic phase were determined directly by FAAS. This method is simple, rapid and sensitive,and about 30 coexisting ions do not interfere with the determination. This method was used for the determination of micro amounts of Au and Pd in geological samples successfully.
