| Abstract: | The breaking of the P(MMA/St/BPADA)/PS core-shell emulsion affected by electrolytes was studied.The relationship between the emulsion concentration and the transmittance and the curve of the transmittance vs the electrolyte concentration were obtained by means of spectrophotometry.Furthermore,the breaking process of the core-shell emulsion was found to divide into three stages:emulsion stabilization,aggregation due to incomplete breaking of the emulsion,and formation of flocculates by complete breaking of the(emulsion). |
