Noncompact convexificators, which provide upper convex and lower concave approximations for a continuous function, are defined. Various calculus rules, including extremality and mean-value properties, are presented. Regularity conditions are given for convexificators to be minimal. In this paper, we introduce a new class of vector quasi-equilibrium problems with set-valued maps. Almost all the vector equilibrium models of the Blum-Oettli type in the literature are special cases of our new class of equilibrium problems under consideration. Moreover, a number of C-diagonal quasiconvexity properties are proposed for set-valued maps, which are natural generalizations of the -diagonal quasiconvexity for real functions. Together with an application of continuous selection and fixed-point theorems, these conditions enable us to prove unified existence results of solutions for such vector equilibrium problems. 相似文献

This article contains an existence result for a class of quasiconvex stored energy functions satisfying the material non‐interpenetrability condition, which primarily obstructs applying classical techniques from the vectorial calculus of variations to nonlinear elasticity. The fundamental concept of reversibility serves as the starting point for a theory of nonlinear elasticity featuring the basic duality inherent to the Eulerian and Lagrangian points of view. Motivated by this concept, split‐quasiconvex stored energy functions are shown to exhibit properties, which are very alluding from a mathematical point of view. For instance, any function with finite energy is automatically a Sobolev homeomorphism; existence of minimizers can be readily established and first variation formulae hold. Necessary conditions not requiring convexity are based on the convergence of a vector at a point and on Motzkin's theorem of the alternative. A constraint qualification is also involved in the establishment of necessary conditions. Three theorems on sufficiency require various levels of convexity on the component of the functions involved, and the equality constraints are not necessarily linear.
