In the study, we developed a simple, rapid, sensitive, and inexpensive method for determination of the disease biomarkers of acetone, hexanal and heptanal in human blood. For the first time, derivatization of carbonyls with O-2,3,4,5,6-(pentafluorobenzyl)hydroxylamine (PFBHA) was combined with headspace single-drop microextractin (HS-SDME) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC–MS) and applied to the analysis of acetone, hexanal, and heptanal in human blood. At first, acetone, hexanal and heptanal in blood were derivatized with PFBHA and formed oximes in several seconds. Sequentially, the oximes were headspace extracted and concentrated by a microdrop solvent. Finally, the extracted oximes were analyzed by GC–MS. HS-SDME conditions and method validations were studied. Due to needing of only 2 μl organic solvent, short extraction time of 8 min, and simple operation, derivatization-HS-SDME was shown to be a rapid, simple, and inexpensive technique for analysis of acetone, hexanal, and heptanal in human blood. Moreover, it had low detection limit values from 0.24 to 0.62 nM, and good reproducibility (R.S.D. less than 12%).  相似文献

Novel rhenium(I) tricarbonyl complexes have been prepared by reactions of (Et4N)2[Re(CO)3Br3] with acetylpyridine benzoylhydrazone, Hapbhyd, di(2‐pyridyl)ketone benzoylhydrazone, Hpy2bhyd, bis(2‐pyridine)ketone, py2CO, and pyridinealdehyde terephtalaldehydebishydrazone, pytehyd. The ligands remain protonated when no supporting base is added and the following complexes have been isolated: [Re(CO)3Br(Hapbhyd)], [Re(CO)3Br(Hpy2bhyd‐py, hyd)], [Re(CO)3Br(Hpy2bhyd‐py1, py2)], [Re(CO)3Br(py2CO‐N, N)] and [Re(CO)3Br(pytehyd)]. Addition of triethyl amine results in deprotonation of Hapbhyd and the formation of [Re(CO)3(OH2)(apbhyd)], whereas Hpy2bhyd is hydrolysed and a rhenium complex with the monoanionic bis(2‐pyridyl)hydroxymethanolato ligand, {py2C(OH)O}, is formed. The same compound, [Re(CO)3{py2C(OH)O}], is obtained when triethyl amine and water are added to a mixture of (Et4N)2[Re(CO)3Br3] and py2CO. The air‐stable products have been studied by spectroscopic methods and X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Protection of carbonyls as acetals or ketals using Brønsted acidic ionic liquid [Hmim]BF4 as catalyst as well as solvent was investigated. Satisfactory results were obtained for the protection of carbonyls as cycloacetals or ketals with diols. The product can be separated conveniently from the reaction system, and the ionic liquid can be reused after removal of water.  相似文献

A method has been developed to measure aldehydes and ketones associated with atmospheric particles. Carbonyl compounds from particulate material collected on Teflon-coated glass-fiber filters were simultaneously extracted and derivatized with an appropriate 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (2,4-DNPH) solution. The efficiency of this procedure utilizing various 2,4-DNPH concentrations and solvent compositions was studied for 13 carbonyl compounds of atmospheric importance. These include formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone, dicarbonyls such as glyoxal and methylglyoxal, and biogenic carbonyls such as pinonaldehyde and nopinone. An extraction solution containing 3 × 10?2 M 2,4-DNPH, in 60% acetonitrile/40% water, and pH 3 was most efficient in extracting and derivatizing these aldehydes and ketones (83-100% recovery). Improved sample enrichment and 2,4-DNPH purification methods were developed that afforded detection limits of 0.009-5.6 ng m?3. The relative standard deviation for replicate analyses were 1.9-10.1%. Carbonyl compounds in ambient particulate samples were quantified during a recent field study. Median values for nine carbonyl species ranged from 0.01-33.9 ng m?3 during the study.  相似文献

We have observed that the allylic zinc halide under identical reaction conditions acts in different modes for different electrophiles. For Ts-aziridines the halide part of the allylic halide has been introduced as a nucleophile and for the carbonyl compounds the simple allylation reaction occurs. To the best of our knowledge this is the first report where the allylic zinc halide is the source of halide acting as nucleophile. The main advantages of the present procedure are easy to handle, no need of inert atmosphere, mild reaction conditions, and applicability to a wide variety of substrates for aziridines and carbonyl compounds.  相似文献

The ability of the oxonitride [{Ti(η5-C5Me5)(μ-O)}33-N)] (1) to act as an organometallic ligand has been studied from both theoretical and experimental points of view. DFT calculations have allowed understanding the electronic structure of 1, and rationalizing its chemical behavior by comparison with the electronic structures of isoelectronic species [{Ti(η5-C5Me5)(μ-O)}33-CH)] and [{Ti(η5-C5Me5)(μ-NH)}33-N)]. Reactions of 1 with different inorganic molecules such as [Mo(CO)3(1,3,5-Me3C6H3)] or AlEt3 have confirmed the possibility of 1 to act as a tridentate or monodentate ligand to give the [{(CO)3Mo}(μ3-O)3{Ti35-C5Me5)33-N)}] (2) and [{Et3Al}(μ3-O){(μ-O)2Ti35-C5Me5)33-N)}] (3) complexes, respectively. Surprisingly, reactions of 1 with [M(CO)6] (M = Cr, Mo, W) complexes led to activate the μ3-N unit in 1 to afford the new compounds [Ti35-C5Me5)3(μ-O)4{(NC)M(CO)5}]2 [M = Cr (4), Mo (5), W (6)]. Molecular structures of complexes 2-6 have been established by single crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

A compound associated with oxidized flavor in red wines was recently-identified as 3-methyl-2,4-nonanedione (MND). In order to quantify it, positive chemical ionization (PCI) in an ion trap was studied using conventional liquid reagents such as methanol, acetonitrile, and acetone, as well as non-conventional liquid reagents such as ethyl acetate, diethyl ether, pentane, isohexane, and heptane. Under laboratory conditions, very different response factors were obtained with MND depending on the gas. We also compared the detection limit of conventional CI with hybrid chemical ionization (HCI). Finally, this compound was quantified in red wines by liquid/liquid extraction without any derivatization steps, followed by GC/MS-CI analysis, using methanol as the reagent gas. Coelutions of compounds with the same m/z were checked using methanol-d(4). The method we developed was linear in the 10-300 ng/L range of MND concentrations, with satisfactory repeatability. The detection limit was 4.3 ng/L, over 3 times lower than the olfactory perception threshold of this compound (16 ng/L). The suitability of this method for assaying this diketone in red wine was demonstrated by the analyzing many wines from different vintages.  相似文献

The analysis of carbonyls in ambient air has received a great deal of scientific attention with the advancement of analytical techniques and increased demand for the build-up of its data base. In this review article, we have attempted to provide some insight into the relative performance of different instrumental approaches available for the analysis of ambient carbonyls with a major emphasis on high performance liquid chromatographic and gas chromatographic methods. Reported in several international standard procedures, derivatization of carbonyls with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (2,4-DNPH) with either an impinger or cartridges is the most commonly used method of HPLC detection. In this respect, a number of alternative hydrazine reagents have also been discussed for use with HPLC. In contrast, GC methods based on the combined application of adsorptive enrichment on solid sorbents and thermal desorption are examined with regard to their suitability for carbonyl analysis in air. Particular emphasis has been directed towards the advantages and drawbacks of these different instrumental techniques for ambient carbonyls. Based on this comparative approach, we discuss the suitability for each method for carbonyl analysis.  相似文献

A new approach for the synthesis and application of tailor-made derivatizing agents for liquid chromatography is presented. The s-triazine ring serves as the backbone for these substances. Synthesis is performed in three steps based on substitution reactions of cyanuric chloride. A chromophor or fluorophor, a reactive group and a third moiety intended to modify the polarity of the derivatizing agent are coupled to cyanuric chloride. The three groups may be selected freely from molecules which carry functional groups which might be linked to cyanuric chloride. As an example, the synthesis and application of a respective reagent for the determination of aldehydes and ketones using HPLC with fluorescence detection is carried out. Baseline separation of the derivatives and low limits of detection (1.5×10−9 mol/l for formaldehyde, 2.0×10−9 mol/l for acetaldehyde and 3.0×10−9 mol/l for p-tolualdehyde) are obtained with the new versatile reagent.  相似文献

There is presently a concern because the US Postal Service now has 8 electron beam accelerators to treat mail in locations along the east coast and that a sufficient dosage to destroy Anthrax is also strong enough to darken and weaken the paper in the postal envelopes. In addition to direct photolytic scission of the cellulose chain, irradiation darkens paper, swells pulp fibres, increases hygroscopicity, and renders the cellulose more soluble in alkaline solution and more susceptible to acid hydrolysis. This report will focus on the effect of electron beam irradiation on degradation of cellulose of fine papers. Three reference papers were selected, sorted into postal envelopes and exposed to electron beam irradiation. The results have shown that irradiation at the dosage used to treat mail by the US Postal Service depolymerizes and oxidizes the cellulose. Depolymerization is responsible for a decrease of paper strength while oxidation induces darkening of the paper. Irradiating at high electron beam energy is less damaging than using lower energy. Moreover, linear relationships have been found between the number of chain scission (CSN) in cellulose and the irradiation dosage as well as between CSN and Zero-Span Breaking Length.
