Two types of mechanisms are proposed for mound coarsening during unstable epitaxial growth: stochastic, due to deposition noise, and deterministic, due to mass currents driven by surface energy differences. Both yield the relation H=(RWL)2 between the typical mound height W, mound size L, and the film thickness H. An analysis of simulations and experimental data shows that the parameter R saturates to a value which discriminates sharply between stochastic () and deterministic () coarsening. We derive a scaling relation between the coarsening exponent 1/z and the mound-height exponent which, for a saturated mound slope, yields . Measurements and data analysis have proved very effective in the study of the Internet's physical fabric and have shown heterogeneities and statistical fluctuations extending over several orders of magnitude. Here we focus on the relationship between the Round-Trip-Time (RTT) and the geographical distance. We define dimensionless variables that contain information on the quality of Internet connections finding that their probability distributions are characterized by a slow power-law decay signalling the presence of scale-free features. These results point out the extreme heterogeneity of Internet delay since the transmission speed between different points of the network exhibits very large fluctuations. The associated scaling exponents appear to have fairly stable values in different data sets and thus define an invariant characteristic of the Internet that might be used in the future as a benchmark of the overall state of “health” of the Internet. Weakly nonlocal thermodynamic theories are critically revisited. A relocalized, irreversible thermodynamic theory of nonlocal phenomena is given, based on a modified form of the entropy current and new kind of internal variables, the so called current multipliers. The treatment is restricted to deal with nonlocality connected to dynamic thermodynamic variables. Several classical equations are derived, including Guyer‐Krumhansl, Ginzburg‐Landau and Cahn‐Hilliard type equations.  相似文献

The efficient synthesis of 2,3-dihydro-1-benzothiepine derivatives 4 has been developed. The intramolecular Claisen type reaction of the new products, 4-(o-formylphenylthio)butyrate 9, with alcoholate in dialkylcarbonate as a solvent afforded 4 in good yields. According to this new procedure, we have accomplished the practical preparation of CCR5 antagonist 1 as a candidate for oral HIV-1 therapy.  相似文献

W 7-agarose是常用的细胞外CaM功能的拮抗剂,本实验采用荧光光谱法研究了水溶液中钙调素拮抗剂W 7-agarose与植物胞外钙调素的相互结合反应。W 7-agarose是一种将W 7-共价连接到颗粒型agarose(琼脂糖)的粒子。W 7-agarose颗粒较大且容易沉淀,静置5m in后,溶液中的荧光强度完全由游离的CaM产生。在溶液中加入W 7-agarose后,溶液中一部分CaM与其结合后沉降至荧光比色皿底部,导致溶液中CaM的荧光强度下降。由此可以确定溶液中游离CaM的浓度。根据公式lg{[Q]t(F0-F)/F0}=nlg{[Q]tF/F0} lgnK[B]t,从而计算出配位体系的结合常数和配比。研究表明:二者以摩尔比1∶1结合,其平衡常数为4.9×105。由此进一步计算了W 7-agarose对胞外钙调素的拮抗率,在拮抗剂W 7-agarose浓度达到15~20μmol/L时,拮抗率可达到90%以上,与文献报道的生物学体内实验结果一致,从分子水平上解释了W 7-agarose与CaM的结合作用。  相似文献

Based upon a thermodynamical approach, the generalized Onsager type of relaxation of van der Waals networks is presented. By linearly and identically coupling the set hidden variables to the network, the memory function of the system can be related to the equilibrium strain-energy function. The relaxation behavior of real networks on stretching can quantitatively be described by means of a distribution of relaxation times known from small strain experiments. Some new and interesting conclusions are discussed as to how the macroscopically non-linear visco-elastic response might be interpreted.  相似文献

The various approaches to nonequilibrium statistical mechanics may be subdivided into convolution and convolutionless (time-local) ones. While the former, put forward by Zwanzig, Mori, and others, are used most commonly, the latter are less well developed, but have proven very useful in recent applications. The aim of the present series of papers is to develop the time-local picture (TLP) of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics on a new footing and to consider its physical implications for topics such as the formulation of irreversible thermodynamics. The most natural approach to TLP is seen to derive from the Fourier-Laplace transform ) of pertinent time correlation functions, which on the physical sheet typically displays an essential singularity at z= and a number of macroscopic and microscopic poles in the lower half-plane corresponding to long- and short-lived modes, respectively, the former giving rise to the autonomous macrodynamics, whereas the latter are interpreted as doorway modes mediating the transfer of information from relevant to irrelevant channels. Possible implications of this doorway mode concept for socalled extended irreversible thermodynamics are briefly discussed. The pole structure is used for deriving new kinds of generalized Green-Kubo relations expressing macroscopic quantities, transport coefficients, e.g., by contour integrals over current-current correlation functions obeying Hamiltonian dynamics, the contour integration replacing projection. The conventional Green-Kubo relations valid for conserved quantities only are rederived for illustration. Moreover, may be expressed by a Laurent series expansion in positive and negative powers ofz, from which a rigorous, general, and straightforward method is developed for extracting all macroscopic quantities from so-called secularly divergent expansions of as obtained from the application of conventional many-body techniques to the calculation of . The expressions are formulated as time scale expansions, which should rapidly converge if macroscopic and microscopic time scales are sufficiently well separated, i.e., if lifetime (memory) effects are not too large.  相似文献
