Temperature dependence of the IR spectra of crystalline propionic acid were examined in the temperature range 242–50 K. The intensities of most absorption bands increased on lowering the temperature, but some bands diminished until they disappeared at temperatures lower than about 120 K. Normal coordinate analyses indicate that the former bands are due to the stable cis dimer and the latter due to the less stable trans dimer which would be produced from the cis dimer by simultaneous proton transfer along two hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

FIFI is an imaging spectrometer with two or three Fabry-Perot interferometers (FPI) in series for airborne astronomical observations in the far-infrared range (=40...200m). It employs 5×5 arrays of photoconducting detectors and offers spectral resolutions as small as 2km/s. Resolution and bandwidth can be set over a wide range to match a variety of astronomical sources. Cryogenic optics minimizes thermal background radiation and provides for in-flight step tunable spatial resolution. At 158 m wavelength the background-limited NEP is 3 × 10-15W/Hz at 40 km/s resolution and with two FPI's; with three FPI's the expected NEP is 10-15WHz at 5 km/s resolution.The frequency-chopping mode of the high-resolution Fabry-Perot allows for line detection in extended objects. Absolute internal flux calibration ensures adequate flat fielding of the array elements.  相似文献

In a network of processors, a distributed operating system must handle the management of shared resources. In this paper, it is shown how to solve this problem in using the model previously introduced in [1]. This model (interconnection of N Markov chains each representing locally a distributed process) allows us to prove the good functioning properties for some distributed problems such as the mutual exclusion problem and the deadlock problem, We also prove that fairness is a basic notion for setting the model’s parameters and obtain an optimal working of the network.  相似文献

砷与人类的生活息息相关,是环境中存在的一种极为重要的非金属元素。由于不同形态的砷其毒性各不同,因此无论对环境样品、食品、药物还是对人体的体液进行砷的形态分析都是至关重要的。高效液相色谱因具有较高的分离能力而被广泛地应用于砷形态的分离研究中。随着对分析灵敏度与准确度要求的不断提高,作为砷形态分析的检测器不断发展,不同的联用技术也日益完善。其中,电感耦合等离子体质谱法以其极高的灵敏度、多元素同时检测能力、极宽的动态范围以及同位素比检测能力而被成功地作为高效液相色谱的检测器,广泛地应用于砷的形态分析中。  相似文献

The analysis of an anisotropic plate Faraday rotator coated with multilayer dielectric plates is presented by means of the matrix methods in conjunction with Fourier transformation technigues. It provides a closed-form representation of the electromagnetic field over the whole multilayer regions. The treatment does not limit the direction of the biased magnetic field and the numbers of the coated dielectric plates. Numerical results are presented and compared with that calculated with the method in ref.[1], and full-waveguide-band bandwidth for 47.5°±1.5° rotation angle is obtained for transmission type rotator in W band. Calculation for reflection type rotator is also presented and compared with the experiments.  相似文献

The UCB/MPE Submillimeter Heterodyne Spectrometer is a system for ascronomical spectroscopy in the high-frequency atmospheric windows from 500 to 1000 GHz. It contains a molecular laser local oscillator, a cooled Schottky open structure mixer, a quasi-optical coupling system, and an acousto-optical spectrometer. The compact receiver mounts at the Cassegrain focus of large infrared astronomical telescopes. The receiver noise temperature on the telescope is approximately 3500 K (DSB) during observations of the CO J=76 line at 806.652 GHz. The spectrometer's frequency resolution and instantaneous bandwidth (<2 MHz resolution across 1.1 GHz) are well suited for observations of molecular emission lines from a variety of astronomical sources.  相似文献

In this paper, extended hemispherical and elliptical silicon dielectric lenses are compared by means of ray tracing. It is shown that the optical focuses of two lenses are not at same position though the elliptical lens is synthesized from an extended hemispherical lens by carefully choosing a particular extension length as stated in ref[1]. It may be used to explain why the best compromise between alignment, directivity and Gaussian-coupling effciency will be obtained if the feed antenna is placed at the region between 2.2 mm and 2.4 mm of extension length (for 13.7 mm diameter lens, dielectric contant = 11.7).  相似文献

Strategies involving smoothing of the objective function have been used to help solve difficult global optimization problems arising in molecular chemistry. This paper proposes a new smoothing approach and examines some basic issues in smoothing for molecular configuration problems. We first propose a new, simple algebraic way of smoothing the Lennard-Jones energy function, which is an important component of the energy in many molecular models. This simple smoothing technique is shown to have close similarities to previously-proposed, spatial averaging smoothing techniques. We also present some experimental studies of the behavior of local and global minimizers under smoothing of the potential energy in Lennard-Jones problems. An examination of minimizer trajectories from these smoothed problems shows significant limitations in the use of smoothing to directly solve global optimization problems.  相似文献
