Protein phosphatase one (PP1) is a ubiquitously expressed, highly conserved protein phosphatase that dephosphorylates target protein serine and threonine residues. The absolute frequencies of 33 P- and R-branch lines of the N2O, 00°1–10°0 laser band have been measured by heterodyning with known CO2 laser frequencies of the 00°1 – 10°0 band in a tungsten-nickel diode. These measurements were used to calculate more precise values for the band centre and for the rotational constants.  相似文献

This work reveals influence of electrospinning of polyacrylonitrile–N ,N‐dimethylformamide solution of different concentrations on nanofiber web color parameters, molecular structure, and heat stability. It is found that fiber diameters depend on concentration through the power law relationship; however, the medium concentration‐based web is characterized by a green–yellow hue, representative of the chromophore color; while, the solvent‐rich and solvent‐poor solution‐based webs give rise to Stokes shifts and ultraviolet‐blue emission bands, attributed to fluorescence. The chromophore structure, present in the neat powder, undergoes changes as a result of electrospinning reflected by the enamine‐to‐ketonitrile conversion and the fraction of C?N conjugation. Blue‐shifting of the C?N conjugation is indicative of a reduction of the π‐electron system, which is coincident with the decreased color saturation value but observed only in the nanofibers prepared from the medium concentration solution. A decrease in the glass transition and an increase in cyclization temperatures also support these findings. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part B: Polym. Experiments demonstrate that Mg(2+) is crucial for structure and function of RNA systems, yet the detailed molecular mechanism of Mg(2+) action on RNA is not well understood. We investigate the interplay between RNA and Mg(2+) at atomic resolution through ten 2-μs explicit solvent molecular dynamics simulations of the SAM-I riboswitch with varying ion concentrations. The structure, including three stemloops, is very stable on this time scale. Simulations reveal that outer-sphere coordinated Mg(2+) ions fluctuate on the same time scale as the RNA, and that their dynamics couple. Locally, Mg(2+) association affects RNA conformation through tertiary bridging interactions; globally, increasing Mg(2+) concentration slows RNA fluctuations. Outer-sphere Mg(2+) ions responsible for these effects account for 80% of Mg(2+) in our simulations. These ions are transiently bound to the RNA, maintaining interactions, but shuttled from site to site. Outer-sphere Mg(2+) are separated from the RNA by a single hydration shell, occupying a thin layer 3-5 ? from the RNA. Distribution functions reveal that outer-sphere Mg(2+) are positioned by electronegative atoms, hydration layers, and a preference for the major groove. Diffusion analysis suggests transient outer-sphere Mg(2+) dynamics are glassy. Since outer-sphere Mg(2+) ions account for most of the Mg(2+) in our simulations, these ions may change the paradigm of Mg(2+)-RNA interactions. Rather than a few inner-sphere ions anchoring the RNA structure surrounded by a continuum of diffuse ions, we observe a layer of outer-sphere coordinated Mg(2+) that is transiently bound but strongly coupled to the RNA.  相似文献

Frequencies of CO2 laser transitions have been compared to the Cs standard by a four-step frequency chain using difference-frequencies from five CO2 isotope lasers. A tungsten-nickel diode generates the differences and their harmonics. Measurement of the 10.71 μm R(6) transition of 13C18O2 is described. The absolute frequency was found to be 27 979 469.512(65) MHz. Simultaneously, the four other CO2 frequencies in the chain were also determined.  相似文献

alpha-Keto alkynes react with CO and H(2) in the presence of catalytic quantities of the zwitterionic rhodium complex (eta(6)-C(6)H(5)BPh(3))(-)Rh(+)(1,5-COD) and triphenyl phosphite affording either the 2-, 2(3H)-, or 2(5H)-furanones in 61-93% yields. The cyclohydrocarbonylation is readily accomplished using substrates containing alkyl, aryl, vinyl, and alkoxy groups at the acetylenic terminal, as well as a variety of primary, secondary, and tertiary alkyl, aryl, and heteroaryl groups connected to the ketone functionality. Structural and electronic properties present in the starting materials mediate the chemo- and regioselectivity of the reaction.  相似文献

A group of prelinguistically hearing impaired children, between 7 and 11 years of age, were trained in the perception of vowel duration and place, the fricative /s/, and manner of articulation (/m/ vs /b/ and /s/ vs /t/) distinctions, using information provided by a multiple-channel electrotactile aid (Tickle Talker), and through aided hearing. Training was provided in the tactile-plus-aided hearing (TA) and tactile (T) conditions. Speech feature recognition tests were conducted in the TA, T, and aided hearing (A) conditions, during pretraining, training, and post-training phases. Test scores in the TA and T conditions were significantly greater than scores in the A condition for all tests, suggesting that perception of these features was improved when the tactile aid was worn. Test scores in the training and post-training phases were significantly greater than in the pretraining phase, suggesting that the training provided was responsible for the improvement in feature perception. Statistical analyses demonstrated a significant interaction between the main effects of condition and phase, suggesting that training improved perception in the TA and T conditions, but not in the A condition. Post-training and training test scores were similar suggesting that the perceptual skills acquired during training were retained after the removal of training. Recognition of trained features improved for trained, as well as for untrained words.  相似文献

The frequency difference between the methane-stabilized 3.39 μm He-Ne laser and the third harmonic of the 10.17 μm R(32) transition of the CO2 laser was measured by harmonic generation and mixing in a tungsten-nickel diode. The difference is 55 200 952 ± 16 kHz. This result corroborates the findings of other workers and is special interest in current discussions to redefine the international metre.  相似文献
