Collocation type methods are studied for the numerical solutionof the weakly singular Volterra integral equation of the secondkind: where the solution (t) is assumedto have the form f(t) = x(t)+r?(t), x and being sufficientlysmooth. The solution is approximated near zero by a linear combinationof powers of t?, and away from zero by the usual polynomialrepresentation. Convergence is proved and many numerical experimentsare carried out with examples from the literature. A comparisonis made with a method of Brunner & Norsett (1981), originallydeveloped for (1) with a smooth solution. Special attentionis paid to the numerical approximation of the so-called momentintegrals which emerge in the collocation scheme.  相似文献

利用XRD、Raman、XPS和FT-IR表征技术,研究无机酸洗脱(HCl、H2SO4、HCl-HF)处理的胜利褐煤微晶结构的变化,采用自行设计的表面吸附仪-GC联用装置,对样品进行不同温度的低温脉冲氧化实验,考察了煤样在不同温度下氧吸附量的变化规律,通过低温脉冲氧吸附规律与TG/DTG和固定床燃烧实验关联,考察了煤样的自燃倾向。结果表明,无机酸洗脱对矿物质的脱除使得煤结构的有序度增加,石墨化程度提高,无机酸洗脱煤样与原煤相比吸氧量明显下降。随着吸附温度的升高,各煤样吸氧量明显增加,且随着脱除矿物质程度的增加,吸氧量呈减小的趋势,导致自燃倾向降低。  相似文献

On the basis of method [1] proposed for diagnosing 2-dimensional chaotic saddles we present a numerical procedure to distinguish hyperbolic and nonhyperbolic chaotic attractors in three-dimensional flow systems. This technique is based on calculating the angles between stable and unstable manifolds along a chaotic trajectory in R3. We show for three-dimensional flow systems that this serves as an efficient characteristic for exploring chaotic differential systems. We also analyze the effect of noise on the structure of angle distribution for both 2-dimensional invertible maps and a 3-dimensional continuous system.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the transition to phase synchronization for systems of coupled nonlinear oscillators that individually follow the Feigenbaum route to chaos. A nested structure of phase synchronized regions of different attractor families is observed. With this structure, the transition to nonsynchronous behavior is determined by the loss of stability for the most stable synchronous mode. It is shown that the appearance of hyperchaos and the transition from lag synchronization to phase synchronization are related to the merging of chaotic attractors from different families. We present an index for the local sensitivity of spatiotemporal structures in coupled oscillatory systems based on the properties of local-in-space, finite-time Lyapunov exponents. For a system of nonlocally coupled Rössler oscillators, we show that variations of this index for different oscillators reflect the sensitivity to noise and the onset of spatial chaos for the patterns where coherence and incoherence regions coexist.  相似文献

In the present minireview, we analyze autonomous and non-autonomous oscillations of dynamical and stochastic systems in the framework of common concepts. We introduce the definition of an attractor for a non-autonomous system. We also propose the definition of self-sustained oscillations, which can be applied for both autonomous and non-autonomous systems. We consider noise-induced oscillations and formulate the definition of stochastic self-sustained oscillations for this case. All the statements made in this work are illustrated by particular examples.  相似文献

We analyze noise-induced phenomena in nonlinear dynamical systems near a subcritical Hopf bifurcation. We investigate qualitative changes of probability distributions (stochastic bifurcations), coherence resonance, and stochastic synchronization. These effects are studied in dynamical systems for which a subcritical Hopf bifurcation occurs. We perform analytical calculations, numerical simulations and experiments on an electronic circuit. For the generalized Van der Pol model we uncover the similarities between the behavior of a self-sustained oscillator characterized by a subcritical Hopf bifurcation and an excitable system. The analogy is manifested through coherence resonance and stochastic synchronization. In particular, we show both experimentally and numerically that stochastic oscillations that appear due to noise in a system with hard excitation, can be partially synchronized even outside the oscillatory regime of the deterministic system.  相似文献
